Sydney Sinclair has spent her life trying to be good.
And it hasn’t always been easy.
Reeling from a bad breakup, Sydney’s life takes an unexpected turn when a night out with her best friend leads to an encounter with Alec, a wealthy and enigmatic businessman. Soon Sydney finds herself entangled not only with Alec, but also his charismatic business partner, Ashton, and their cold and menacing associate, Sebastian.
As Sydney navigates this complex new relationship, she uncovers a dangerous world she never imagined lurked beneath Fortune City, forcing her to confront her own buried past and the violent person she once was.
Dangerous Men is book one of the Fortune City Mafia series, a dark “why choose” mafia romance with adult themes. Readers are advised this series contains adult content, strong language, and violence.
Evelyn Ward is a dark fantasy author, a lover of 'why choose' romance, and a huge fan of feminine rage. She likes dark, dark stories, spicy scenes, and plots that twist and turn.
This wasn’t poorly written, it just was very insta love/lusty and the MMCs were ready to unalive anyone who looked at the fmc by page 89 😅. I like a bit more nuance or slow burn to my romances. This felt like a very tropey why choose. Idk why it’s being marketed as a why choose dark mafia romance when it felt like more of a dark comedy.
I am a staunchly feminist woman who gets nervous at the mere thought of getting into trouble and can barely tolerate violent movies, so it makes no sense just how rabid I am for a dark mafia why choose…Take it up with my therapist.
I am so grateful to Evelyn Ward for this ARC, and I am really excited to see them hit their stride in this sub-genre. Full of strong friendships, bookworm fan service that’s never pandering, and inner dialogue that’s as funny as it is hot, Dangerous Men is *DEVOURABLE*
And of course, for you, here is my list of unabridged reading notes in chronological order: + Literally pulled in from the very first page + Such gems like “,nondescript man number one says” + First meeting: oh so we’ve got some smitten kittens on our hands + This book store!!? + Is a dark mafia why choose really about to be my new comfort read? + Oops I’m just highlighting whole pages now + Is this just really REALLY well-written fan service? Omg I’m squealing + AND THEY TIP WELL?! + Sebastian “I’m surrounded by idiots” Sterling + Viper “murder on two legs” Sterling + Alec aka “daddy” Sterling + I think I nearly sprinted around the room when Sebastian showed up + Wow I’m such a sucker + Ash the Himbo Wonder + Ok not nearly enough FMCs with good, close, well-developed female friends in dark mafia romances! Jade is a fucking treat and I personally will be BEGGING for more of her story asap + Who’s Annika?! 👀 + Justice for Vicky!! + Sebastian is mommy with all his fussing over Sydney 😂 + OH MY GOD fuck OFF Chase + “We’re dangerous men Sydney” DING DING DING WE HAVE A WINNER + Ending: my word my god where is my fainting couch I don’t think I can come back from this
There are some books, that when I go searching for a promising quote to sell you on this book, there isn’t a single one I can share — not because the writing isn’t impeccable and smart and worthy of highlighting, but because it is simply *that* fiery and hot that I couldn’t possibly share them out of context in this setting. That is the praise I can offer you in this moment. Please go read it, I have a hunch it’s what you’re craving.
Fine, I suppose if you want ONE quote… “‘Look at you, naughty girl,’ he purrs, lifting her head until she’s staring at her own reflection. Her breath hitches, a delicious blush staining her cheeks. ‘Look how perfect you are.’”
ARC Review - I gave this five stars because I hella enjoyed my time reading it! M&K had me kicking my feet and twirling my hair, and got MANY happy giggles out of me too! No big spoilers here, just a pure unadulterated response to this book.
To preface, I've never read a "why choose" so this was my first experience with a book with that sort of trope, and this one set the bar high for all of them moving forward. I adored The Queen's Blade and The Blood Witch from the author and they quickly became one of my new favorites. Dangerous Men did NOT disappoint.
While a bit dark (which I am so glad they had a warning at the start of the book), Dangerous Men is also fun, sexy, daring, and meta. The FMC Sydney feels like a love note to all book lovers everywhere that have a heavy dose of spice in them, and is such an enjoyable and relatable character that it was a treat to be in her perspective. Her occasional meta commentary with her bestie, Jade, had me laughing out loud multiple times. Sydney's counterpart(s), the Sterling Brothers, are charming in their own special ways too, and M&K wrote them all so uniquely that none of them felt like carbon copies of the other. Though Ash in particular has a special place in my heart, and Viper scares the snots outta me.
This book was just such a fun time, had a great pace with great scenes, and had me so hooked that I started reading it when I got home at 5 PM and stayed up until almost midnight the same day to finish it. I've already recommended it to some friends that I know will love it the second it releases.
If you're daring and have a little bit of a dark side, too, I will recommend this book with every ounce of breath that I have. It was a treat to read.
this book is the definition of “let me upgrade ya” 😌🙂↕️
Sydney is living every baddie’s nightmare, having just gotten out of a toxic relationship with a scrub who dragged her down in life constantly. on a spontaneous GNO with her bestie, she catches the eye of a hot mystery man and it’s game over.
mystery man, Alec, is down bad for Syd, which is already a shock, but then she finds out he comes with three brothers… that are used to sharing everything??? Cue being wooed by Mr. Tall, Dark and Handsome. And the charming blond playboy and the hot tattooed doctor and the unhinged psycho. It’s literally a sexy Cinderella story. Except instead of one Prince Charming, we have four. And they’re not quite the good guys 👀
For me, a book is 5 stars if it gives me an intense emotional reaction. That was this book - I laughed, I was angry, I was tense, I was excited!
Sydney owns a bookstore/bakery with her best friend Jade. Unbeknownst to her, Sydney starts a fling with the city's biggest crime boss. Then she meets the rest of his "brothers"...
If you've read The Broken Blade series by Evelyn Ward, then you know they can craft complex worlds and magic systems. This book is very different in that regard. It's a modern dark romance. The story takes place in Fortune City which could be modeled after any large US city. There are mafia aspects to the story, however, the relationships take center stage in this book. The story is character driven and the romance between the characters is the main part of the story. There is some overarching mafia plot.
I LOVE the way Evelyn Ward writes banter. I was kicking and giggling reading this book. The relationships and spicy scenes are very well written. Although the book is marketed as "reverse harem," there is actually very little "action" with more than 2 participants. I expect we'll see more of that later in the series. We get glimpses of each character's dark past and hopefully we'll see more of that in future books. There was one character that gives me an angry, visceral reaction - he's written so well I wanted to punch his face through the book.
I flew through the last 20% of this book. It was so tense as everything came to a head! I cannot wait to read the next in the series!
*be sure you read the content warnings before starting this book. There are some elements that may be disturbing to some readers.
**Thank you, Evelyn Ward, for providing me with an advance copy of this book. All thoughts are my own, honest review**
Evelyn Ward set the bar HIGH with The Queen's Blade and The Blood Witch and they managed to absolutely BLOW ME AWAY with Dangerous Men! I can't overstate how much I loved this book.
Let's start with one of the things where Evelyn Ward shines brightest (they're incredible at a lot but this one is just so special) FEMALE FRIENDSHIP!!! The friendship between Sydney and Jade feels so authentic. Their love for each other shines so bright and it's so, so wonderful to read a book with a loving, supportive friendship and I love that it's so important to the story.
This book is SPICY and so, so sexy. I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually think I'm in love with...all 4 men. Their obsession with Sydney is *chef's kiss* and the on page chemistry is unique with each of them but believable and delicious!
And holy shit is the villain villaining. Every time I think I can't hate a man anymore, this guy does something to up the ante. He is VILE and that makes the whole thing so much more compelling.
Syney's character growth is incredible throughout the story. Her backstory is revealed gradually and I love the way we see her come into herself and become more and more accepting of the person she really is. Her friendship with Jade really highlights this, and her relationships with the men help highlight the way she's opening up and coming to terms with her inner demons.
This story is filled with feminine rage and spice I could not have loved it more! I'm going to be thinking about this one for MONTHS. The ending was SO INTENSE and I CANNOT WAIT for book 2!!!
Thank you so much to Evelyn Ward for sending me an e-arc of this book!
Just wanted to get that out of the way in case others like to avoid those, as book 2 is not released yet. This book is also Why Choose, so if thats not your thing...You've been warned!
Luckily for me, Why Choose is one of my top tropes so this was exactly what I was looking for. This did however lean a little towards insta-love for me, which is ok but sometimes I prefer a bit of a slow burn [to each their own]. This is a Mafia book, and considered dark romance....as always my scale is incredibly broken so I would classify this as a lite gray and not truly dark, but do with that what you will and please read the trigger warnings yourself. While these men are "dark" they are not quite the level of unhinged that I truly adore, but that does not mean that I didnt enjoy them all the same.
I also love a good story with strong female characters who have strong friendships, and we get to see that between Sydney & Jade. They bring a "comedy" aspect or a lightness if you will to the story and giving girl gang is my fav!
Im just going to say it again, WHAT WAS THAT CLIFFHANGER!!! ok, done....but like sigh, I was already going to read book 2, but now I absolutely have to!
Such a good book! Let’s start with the basics; this is a dark mafia, why choose romance, so check your triggers. Our FMC is Sydney, a bookshop owner, who is strong but seemingly also sweet and soft. She catches the attention of some charming, hot, and potentially questionable men. But Sydney has a past, and maybe she’s not as sweet as you might think. The pacing is great and the writing style is very conversational and easy to read; you learn more about Sydney’s past as the story develops. FWIW, while this is fairly spicy, it doesn’t feel gratuitous, just effective for the story, which I appreciate.
Full disclosure: I read an advance copy of this book but that didn’t influence my rating. You should read these authors- they are amazing!
Great start to a series! Sydney is living a bit of our dream life. Co-owner of a bookstore/cafe. Check. Has gorgeous, dangerous men(yes, plural) becoming obsessed with her. Check. Has problems coming to terms with who she thinks she should be versus who she is. Check. Ok, that last one might not be dream life material but it is true.
This book gives us some drama with an ex. We get to see Sydney's growth as she becomes more confident in herself again and begins to figure out who she really is now. There are lies, secrets, and just enough hints about what dangers are lying in the wings to keep you reading and wanting to know more. Which is good because it does end on a cliffhanger, which was expected given this is book one.
There is a good amount of spice. I enjoyed them building it up a bit more every time and I'm looking forward to seeing what they get up to in the next book.
Thank you to the authors for an advanced copy for my honest review.
Ended this book with my jaw on the floor. The authors (M & K) are little geniuses and I’ll read any genre they explore. I felt all the things while reading Dangerous Men!!!
We start this dark mafia romance out in the club with our FMC Sydney and her bff Jade. Sydney is trying and failing to stop thinking about her horrible awful ex - she finally says screw it and it’s to the dance floor they go! And that’s when she feels eyes on her 👀
I applaud M & K’s ability to write a mafia why-choose and not give me the ick with any of the MMCs. They all offer something different and exciting. Yes, they’re dangerous, but we slowly find that Sydney has her own sharp teeth. There are dark themes explored (read those tw’s!) and I am giddy with excitement to see where things are headed in book 2 after reading this was a “light” start to the duology. I want to see Sydney show those sharp teeth after that twisty ending!! And the spice??? 😮💨 M & K don’t play around when it comes to those steamy scenes, giving their feral readers everything they wanted, with so much more to come in book 2! Even better than the spice though is how they write female friendships. I was crying at Jade’s support near the 80% mark. Every Sydney should have a Jade in their lives!
Definitely pick this up if you want a spicy why-choose with an unputdownable plot and the perfect sprinkling of humor and relatable MCs (yes, Sydney, I have also been too busy to eat during the day and have devoured 3 meals worth of calories before passing out at night 😅) there are a few scenes I wish I could touch on that the authors did differently than I’m used to reading and it was so refreshing and satisfying to watch unfold. Evelyn Ward is on my auto-buy list forever ♾️
**Thank you, Evelyn Ward (M & K) for the opportunity to read the eARC of Dangerous Men in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own**
This book was an absolute pleasure to read. One sitting, no breaks, I couldn’t stop.
I absolutely LOVED the fmc Sydney. Not only could I relate to her, she was just an extremely complex character and it’s hard to find one of those anymore.
Then the mmc’s… phew. 😮💨 Alec is your typical alpha type, leader, head on his shoulders. I definitely liked seeing him fall for her. And THE MOUTH ON HIM 🥵 Ashton was your pretty, bubbly playboy and I love his golden retriever energy that can definitely turn into a Rottweiler when necessary. Him and Alec together? Maaaaan I need me one of THOSE. And then Sebastian. He’s broody and mysterious and has a medical degree AND TATTOOS and idk I think he’s my fav. But then Viper shows up out of nowhere and is an absolute maniac, a monster, and I also love that too…
The differences between all 4 mmc’s is so good. When doing why chose, it’s so necessary to have such drastic male counterparts so you can differentiate all of them and this was done so well that I’m mad I finished so quick AND I have to wait for book 2… damnit.
Thank you so much to the authors and team for allowing me this advanced copy! I’ll be back for book 2 😏
Holy goodness did I not expect to love this book as much as I did! The characters were great, the smut was hot, and the pacing was perfect.
Read if you like...
🩸Why-choose full of angst and tension 🩸Found family dynamics 🩸If evil, why sweet? 🩸A dark kingpin willing to do anything for his empire 🩸A loveable fighter who might as well be a golden retriever 🩸A doctor turned mafia accountant who refuses to show emotion... until he does 🩸Book to devour in one sitting 🩸Touch her and you die in very creative and drawn out ways 🩸True, unapologetic female friendship 🩸A FMC who learns how to love herself again 🩸Cute and thoughtful dates that quickly heat up 🩸 They read her smutty books for ✨educational✨ purposes
Thank you to Evelyn Ward for an e-ARC! All thoughts and opinions remain my own.
✨ARC Review✨ Out August 29, 2025 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . . . In a word, OBSESSED! Dangerous Men is a dark why choose mafia romance set in the Vegas-y city of Fortune City. It’s a perfect start to a new series and does a lot of heavy lifting to build this world and leave you wanting more. And that’s my only complaint in this book: I WANT MORE The FMC? Determined, angry, fighting her own demons. The MMCs? There’s four of them so there’s something for everyone (but I’ll take more of Alec and Seb please) The spice? Hot. A tease. Leaves you wanting more. . . I loved every second of it and I can’t wait until we get more
I was graciously granted a free ARC of this book and am so honored to be sharing my review of it!
This book was everything I wanted in a RH Mafia Romance and *more*. I love the structure, the character development, the plot , the plot progression, and basically everything about it. I don’t think I’ll ever shut up about it and will likely recommend it to people until I’m blue in the face. This series is about to have a literal chokehold on me.
This book was fantastic! I’m usually not a fan of dark romances, but something told me this one would work for me. And wow did it! Sydney is everything I love in a FMC: strong, independent, and just submissive enough to add to the complexity of her character. Alec was just yummy from start to finish. Ash is the best blend of golden retriever and protective af. Seb was a very interesting character but still lovable in his own ways. And Viper…. I need more of Viper please and thank you.
I appreciated how the men all called to something different in Sydney and also reflected different personality traits of her. The hints of drama and suspense were just enough to leave me wanting so much more. I’m very much waiting with bated breath for the next book in the series; I’m officially hooked.
Thank you to M & K for the advanced copy and for the fantastic story!
Firstly I cannot thank whatever force decided to make me follow the authors on threads and sign up for an arc.
Secondly, the book…. OMG the book. Sydney - my heart broke for her and the amount of shit she was left to deal with as a result of her shitty ex Alec - book husband (enough said) Ashton - the other book husband (read the book, no explanation needed) Sebastian - book husband number 3 (how hot is the name Sebastian) Viper - we listen and we don’t judge but hands down daddy. (And book husband)
This book was so good, I did not want to put it down! The chemistry? Off the charts. The plot? Deliciously twisted. The emotions? Raw and real. If you're into dark romance with a "why choose" twist, this one is a must-read. I’m still reeling, and I already want the next book.
Dangerous Men is a super addictive why choose dark romance with 4 completely unhinged (AND HOT) MMCs that will literally do anything for her and I ATE. IT. UP.
The MMCs? We've got: -Obsessed broody mafia boss ✅ -Unhinged psycho scary boi ✅ -Tattooed nerd w slutty lil glasses ✅ -Blonde golden retriever ✅ & I love them alllll. Seb is lowkey my favorite though, I can’t resist a man in glasses. (Also…THE MIRROR SCENE 👀)
I adored the friendship between Sydney and Jade. She’s the kind of bestie we all need.
The plot twist? DIABOLICAL. I won't know peace until the sequel is in my hands 😭
Read if you enjoy: -Why choose -Dark romance -Touch her & die -Mafia vibes -Multi POV
Fav quotes: "I’ve been lonely for a very long time, darling. Longer than I can remember. And I don’t think I realized how lonely I truly was until I met you.”
“Say the word, and he’s a dead man, love.”
“You were made for us, darling.” “All.” Thrust. “Fucking.” Thrust. “Four.” Thrust. “Of us.” 🥵🥵🥵
First, I want to thank the authors for an e-ARC of this book! Second, I want to say HOLY SHIT. This was my first dark mafia romance and my eyes have been BLESSED. Get me book two ASAP! Pre-order this one now, kids! Check trigger warnings first tho 😘
Sydney, the FMC, seems like your average small business owner but we get lil snippets as the book goes on about who she really is. I love that she’s got teeth and comes into her own. Unlearning what society expects of single women (and women in general) was so, so relatable. She’s also sassy af without being a try hard and when she said “a shame I’m so tragically heterosexual”, I felt that.
All four of the MMCs are intriguing as HELLLLL. It was super fun getting to see their personalities come to life. The best part about this being a why choose is I don’t have to pick a favorite, but if forced, it’d be Ashton. I am WEAK in the knees at babygirl, idc. Alec is charming, I’d probably fall for his ass too. And Sebastian? Get me with those slutty lil glasses and tattoos. YEAH FRIENDS. HE HAS BOTH. Viper is a mystery I will not be trying to unravel bc it would ruin all the fun for you, but I’m excited to see what we learn about him in book 2.
Okay okay, enough with the thirsting. We need to talk about found family. If there’s something M and K do masterfully it’s that. Jade is THEEEE ultimate girl’s girl. The way she talks about toys being a partner, not a competition? The way she tells Sydney there’s nothing wrong with wanting to be with all the men? GO OFF UNPROBLEMATIC QUEEN. Everyone needs a Jade in their life.
Spice is a 5/5 and the exploration of kink was done impeccably. It’s so healing to see Sydney open up about her sexual preferences bc bb girl has been through it.
And finally, the villain did their damn job. Hated them, wanted to slap them with my words bc HOW DARE YOU.

Dangerous Men is a book that is really easy to start reading. Then, several hours later, it doesn’t matter that it is somehow 1 am, you still want to know what happens next. 400 pages flew by, and now I regret doing an ARC because I have to wait even longer to find out what comes next instead of just having the whole series in my hands for instant gratification.
I think for a Dark Romance, if you are unsure if you are into that sort of thing, heed the warnings, but otherwise I would say it is a good way to dip your toes in to the genre. It's dark, but not so pitch black that you are left feeling wildly uncomfortable and questioning your life choices.
Sydney and her best friend Jade are women I would want to be friends with and work with in real life. Maybe it is just me, but it feels like the Authors M and K’s genuine friendship trickles through to the pages, which is nice. It helps makes the characters more realistic.
Sydney is very relatable for a main character. She has things about her life that are complicated and messy. She is a bit damaged and trying to figure out how to repair herself, her life, and still hold on to the person she wants to be. But healing isn’t always going to go the way we want it to, and it can reveal things to us that we don’t want to admit to ourselves and, consequently, struggle with. I mean granted, not all of us find ourselves in her delicious why choose situation with several extremely attractive and attentive, touch her and pay type men, while healing from a broken heart, but we can dream.
I think overall it is a good book that will leave you satisfied.
Well, maybe not as satisfied as the characters, you’ll have to figure that out yourself…
4.5✨ This book gave me alll the feels!!! Laughter, chills, tears, yearning and female fucking RAGE 😤 For me it got dark in all the perfect places!
Love the friendship between FMC Sydney and Jade
The nicknames 🫠🫠 they are so damn good
A few times i wanted to scream to the FMC to not believe a single word out of certain people 🤨
Seb miscommunication was a bit annoying for me… Lovee Alec !! he is the boss man! 😏 Ashton YES he is a cute, golden retriever BUTT OH his dark side😈 Need more of Viper because he’s mortally Black🖤 and I LIVE for that shit
I hate how this book ends!!! I need the second book ASAP!!😩🙌🏻🙌🏻 Reading this with my bestie made it more enjoyable ♥️
I read this book as an ARC, thankyouu to Evelyn Ward for this opportunity ❤️🔥

Omg! I was hooked from the start! I literally binge read this book, bedtime what’s that? I don’t know her!
Mafia, why choose, billionaires, found family, violence, and an FMC that discovers her inner strength, what more can a girl ask for!
Sydney is a bookseller running a business with her bestie for life who makes the best pastries. They go clubbing one night and Sydney attracts the attention of Alec unbeknownst to her. Something happens that set the wheels in motion for him to start falling for her! Then his “brothers” also start falling for her and each one satisfies a different side of her! That ending scene between Alec and Sydney was so mean!😭
If you like dark romance and mafia romance than you absolutely must read this book! Thank you to the authors for this arc, it was so amazing I told my hubby he will be buying me a physical copy, I have to have this on my shelf! He said I spent over 30 minutes giggling and kicking my feet while reading this which means that this book is perfection!
Tropes: 💀 Why Choose 💀 Reverse Harem 💀MFMMM (yes there are 4 of them 😮💨) 💀Touch Her and Die 💀Morally Grey MMCs
I absolutely loved this! The FMC, all the MMCs..Every. Single. Thing. I read this in around 24hrs I couldn’t put it down, I was so invested from the very beginning!
This is Multi POV rotating between all the main characters, so it’s definitely important to pay attention at the beginning of each chapter (I had to start a chapters few over cause I skipped whose POV it was haha). I loved getting everyone’s perspective on everything going on, and their insights and how each one viewed Sydney (our FMC). Each character is complex and unique and I loved every single one of them!
This is definitely up there on the spice, and it’s a good mix of plot and spice. So If you enjoy both then this is definitely the read! It was such a great change of pace from the other books I’ve been reading here lately!!
I feel extremely blessed to have received an advanced copy of the book from the authors.
Evelyn Ward does it again! This is what dark romance should look like. M & K's writing is seamless and draws you in immediately. The characters are complex, flawed, nuanced, and ultimately believable.
POTENTIAL SPOILERS BELOW:
The friendship between Sydney and Jade is amazing - I love how M & K write friendships. Sydney's ex, Chase, is the epitome of a slimy, narcissistic asshole and gave me flashbacks to a crappy ex of my own. I was so glad to see Sydney rise above who she tried to be for Chase and stand up for herself.
Now, the guys. Alec is suave and domineering. Ashton is goofy, bright, and fun. Sebastian has that aloof air of the one that resists and ultimately falls the hardest. And Viper...man, am I going to need a hell of a lot more of this psycho in book two!! The guys fall first and fall HARD.
The fact that the book not only has subtle call outs to M&K's other series, but also is self aware and pokes loving fun at the book community as a whole makes it just that much more fun. The FMC has a job that many avid readers would aspire towards - her own bookstore and café co-owned with her BFF.
I fully expect much more *sharing* in book two, dang it! If M&K's other series is any indicator, the spice will fully be spicing in the second book. There were far too many unutilized...ahem...MMCs in this book. Sydney has yet to have her fill, if you get my meaning. Okay, I'll stop.
Read this book, and any other by Evelyn Ward that you can get your perverted, grubby hands on, you definitely won't regret it!
I was thrilled to receive an ARC of this after absolutely loving Evelyn Ward’s first two books from the (unrelated) Broken Blade series. This was a departure from the epic romantasy world building and plot-driven ride of those books, but such a fun read in its own right. Definitely check the triggers because this has some dark themes throughout. But if you like why choose books, and enjoy your MMCs morally grey and smoldering, then this should go on your TBR right away! I devoured it. Evelyn Ward has a comfortable style of writing that makes you feel like your best friends are telling you about their shenanigans. A lot of loose ends left dangling at the end of this one, which makes me so excited to get my hands on book 2. Adore the fact that the FMC in this book has a whole lot of repressed darkness in her just waiting to rip free. Because honestly don’t we all?
I got this as an ARC and enjoyed every minute of it 💫
This book was so well written that it gave me everything and more:
– It made me stay up late in the night to finish (I don’t regret it! ) – The pacing was perfect, I tried to read slowly but now it’s over and now I don’t know what to do with my life – Beautiful female friendship that made me want to cry. – An FMC coming back into herself and owning her power. Watch out for the backhand (IYKYK) – Four hot MMCs that will do ANYTHING for her – An emotional rollercoaster: will she like all of the guys? And what about the most unhinged one of them all? - Dark mafia romance - Multiple POVs, I love it! You get an insight into everyone’s mind - This is a Why Choose & Reverse Harem book, the spice is spicy 🥵🥵🌶️🌶️ - It ended on a cliffhanger that was so emotional and I can’t wait for book 2! I need it right now!
M&K (Evelyn Ward) really know how to write layered characters with incredible storytelling and witty banter, we get all of that in this book 🥰
PRE ORDER right away! Dangerous Men by Evelyn Ward is officially out on August 29th!
Thank you for the ARC! This was my first ARC and to say this was a delicious read and I could not stop reading. Literally did the authors sprinkle a little something something in this? 👀 Cause I need MORE! 😈
Spicy spicy spicy! Like 4/5 spice! 🌶️ Let’s not compare apples and oranges from this series and The Queen’s Blade but the spice is ramped up in this book!
Female friendship for the win in every book these authors write. In fact, I’m recommending this book if you want strong female friendship for your FMC. 🥳
Also, the men?! I am melting for each and every one of them. MELTING. 🫠 I was giggling and kicking my feet and then blushing and going on my god ok get it Sydney 👏 👏 👏
A super fun read if you like to see the FMC slowly turn to the dark side 🙂↕️or shall we say return? 👀 Sydney is no wall flower. She’s got feminine rage underneath that sundress 😇
I will be shouting this from the rooftops as a rec to read for anyone who loves a good why choose book. 🥰
Oh my gosh. I absolutely obliterated this book in a day, it was so good. Mafia why-choose will always be top-tier tropes for me and this one is everything I needed it to be. These men fall fast and hard for Sydney, and she is holding back for most of this book honestly. But I mean if I had Chase for an ex, I'd be weary too but my god. These men all show their affection in different ways and I love that the story showcased that. That plot twist tho? Didn't see it coming from a mile away. I cannot wait to see how fucking hard Sydney is about to go in the next book because I might be in love with her too. Definitely recommend!
