Excellent story, proofreading nightmare
The story is great and it's awesome to see the expansion of the D.A. Roberts universe by other authors. However, someone needs to do a better job of basic proofreading, such as spelling and continuity checks. The lack of contractions is also somewhat difficult because of how it creates a very robotic and overly formal sound, almost like reading a research paper instead of a great book. Please keep these coming, but please invest more in a good editing job.

OMG!!!
I read book 1 and 2 in just a few days. These books are right up there with D A Roberts books. Thrilling and humorous. Werewolves make me happy especially the ones like Rick.It was well written and will hold your interest from the first page to the last. The fact that D A and Doc are in them just make it that much better. The Sheepdogs are right up there with Wild Hunt! Looking forward to the next book!!

Books 1 & 2 down today. Just bought Book 3!!
I am a definite fan of D.A. Roberts and his books. Now that I've found Robby "Jed" Raines I am also a BIG fan of this Shadow-Walker series!! I love a great "creature feature" and these two authors tic all the boxes for me! Greatly recommend both authors!!

Excellent read! A clear thrill ride!
This series hooks you from page 1. Its fast paced, strong characterization, and well researched. Its interesting to see another favorite author of mine playing himself as a character in this book!

I'm addicted
The team grew substantially in this book and highlighted the parallels between DAs "fictional" stories of military monster hunters and Ricks "true account" of Team Sheepdog. I love this double down concept of cryptid Hunter teams.

Great monster reading

Good book the team come up against a different type of creature. An reptilian beast who answers to the same evil entity who tried to lure Rick to the Dark Side.
