One of the WORST fucking books I ever read. H breaks up with his girlfriend and goes to a sex club, fucks Cassi then gets back together with his girlfriend and fucks her. He meets his girlfriend’s family and finds out the girl he fucked in the sex club is his girlfriend’s little sister.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️okay but that was so good??😩🤩 i loved the forbidden secret romance, the tension…😌🫣. i also really liked that she didn’t put up with any bs. she stood her ground and didn’t let him walk all over her, but she still tried to be understanding of the situation. and the twist… omg. 🤯 i genuinely did not see that coming. i had to reread it because what??? 🤯🫣 their banter was so cute and the way he spoiled her …🙂↕️🙂↕️ loved. also loved his relationship with her dad, that was such a cute touch.🥹🥹 her sister though… she got on my last nerve.🤬 everytime she came around i was like ughhh please leave 😬. anyway, i’m really excited for naomi’s book!! i can’t wait!! 🥰🥰🤭🤭

UMMM KATELYN GIRL… I was ready for a spicy, steamy book (which I did get) but I also got FREAKING WHIPLASH from those plot twists 😦
I absolutely loved this book. I think the way I inhaled it, proves that. This book follows Cassi and Nico. They meet one night at a s3x club and later find out that Nico is Cassi’s sisters long term boyfriend. They try to fight their feelings for each other but… well you know how that goes. This book was so freaking good. I absolutely love Cassi. She is funny and witty. Nico is a MAN 🥵 I loved the banter between Cassi and Nico. And the tension between those two… oh my. 😮💨 Like I said, I was fully prepared for this book to be steamy but Katelyn hit us with MULTIPLE plot twists that had my jaw on the floor. The ending had me f*cking flabber ghasted. This book just might be my favorite from Katelyn so far. I highly recommend this book!

Nico and Cassi were fire from their very first, anonymous meeting! They have one piping hot and unforgettable night together, just to be hit with reality the next day.
I really enjoyed the spice in this one! It was a lot and it was HOT!! Nico was all in from the beginning and I loved that.

I had the pleasure of reading this arc and I was blown away especially at the end. Cassi and her friends go out to a sëx club called Scandal to celebrate her 21st birthday. Everyone has a mask on in the club and she sees this as an opportunity to live it up. She meets a man while watching a demonstration and decides what the hell and has a little fun, little does she know that the man she met would come back into her life in the form of her sisters boyfriend. The plot, the spice, the story was so good, especially the ending. I was speechless. I can’t wait for the next book! If you have never read Katelyn’s books, you’re missing out!

This was honestly so fun! I love it when my books are hot and messy!!
Nico and Cassi have this one night stand without realizing who each other really is. Because yes that night was hot and sexy but BOOM next morning it's revealed that Nico is Cassi's sister's boyfriend and everything becomes complicated as hell.. like 💀
Not that this stopped them to be honest. Once the shock after the reveal wore off the energy basically was: this is a bad idea but lets do it anywayzzz. I love it when a book is messy like that lol.
In case you missed it.. this book has cheating y'all. Like lots of it. There's a lot of push and pull, jealousy, sneaking around and pretending they don't want each other. I'm not gonna lie.. i ate this shit up.
usually I hate cheating tropes bc most of the time they just make me annoyed. but here it actually worked for me because it wasn’t one sided you know? cassi wasn’t sitting there acting like some perfect angel waiting for him to choose her while the guy fucks around with both her and his girlfriend. nope. she was messy too. she slept with her ex, she made nico jealous, she gave him hell! and I loved that. Like bitch if we’re going to be messy then let’s BOTH be messy.
now hear me out, about the sister situation… at first I was a little 👀 about it because yeah… that’s still her sister. even if carly was a bitch. so in the beginning it did feel uncomfortable. that’s why I actually appreciated when naomi (Cassi's best friend) called cassi out because i felt like she needed to understand what she's actually doing. like yeah.. chemistry, hot sex, Carly’s a bitch okay. But she's still your sister?? eh.
but then the story starts revealing more and more about carly and all the shady things she had been doing… and yeah. my feelings changed real fast. by the time everything comes out I was like okay nvm fuck that bitch. this situation is way darker than I thought. I don't feel bad about Nico cheating on her with her own sister.
honestly this book wasn't some life changing masterpiece but I ate it up. I'm a slut for drama and sex y'all.. what can I say.

It was still very crazy though ‘cause ew…
I don’t think I’d ever want anything that’s been in or near someone blood related 🤢
But the drama def was on the lower end for this novel, at least for me.
Carly was legit insane. To stoop to such levels just to get your way, and the parents never doing anything about her attitude was so telling lol.
As for Cassi… Girl 😬
I mean, if I saw Nico, I’d probably fold, but if I had known the story behind it all— I’m good ✌🏽
(Which from Carly’s character, I think she would’ve been rubbing him in her face prior to the whole meet up?) But Cassi was just fr giving it out lmfao. I feel kinda bad for what’s his name, but also his crash out was also very over the edge…
Either way, Carly’s crash out would’ve been valid if she wasn’t such a pos person lol.
But since she is… She’s just a lunatic. I’m def not excusing that last scene though, INSANE!!!!
(Especially when they put the past instance together after that?! Girrrrl).
As for Nico… He’s probably what pisses me off about men lmfao. Why even put yourself in these situations to begin w/ is beyond me.

I was in a huge slump before I started this book and if there’s one thing Katelyn can do it’s pull me right out!
I was honestly hooked on this one. I loved Nico and Cassi’s relationship. The first meeting, the longing, the forbidden love and age gap? I ate it all up. There were so many twists and turns I thought I was on a fkn rollercoaster!
Nico worshiped the ground that Cassi walked on and their relationship was electrifying, i could feel the love coming off the page lmao. If you like the cheating trope (not between main characters) then please pick this one up!

We return to the night of our FMC Cassi’s birthday - where she wanted to go to a shmex club to celebrate. Masks are a requirement upon entry. Cassi leaves her friends to go to a böndage demonstration room. She volunteers to be part of the demo, but they need another volunteer to do the tying up. Enter our MMC Nico.
Their chemistry is palpable, and as a reward for participating they are granted the use of one of the club’s exclusive rooms. Our characters get it on and have a good old time, then part ways.
Cassi’s sister, Carly, comes into town from Boston and brings her boyfriend so she can introduce him to the family. Carly is THE WORST. Seriously. When they show up, Cassi is able to tell that her sister’s boyfriend is the guy she hooked up with at the club! Carly and Nico have been on-again off-again for three years, and Nico has been wanting to end it. Now that he’s obsessed with her sister, he has more reason than ever.
This is Katelyn Taylor, so stuff gets complicated and multi-layered. Cassi’s exboyfriend enters the picture as well, and it is a twisty turny road to the end.
Overall, I enjoyed this. I loved the premise and the forbidden nature of the story. I felt like the spice could have been spicier, but it was still really good.

I also don’t typically enjoy the cheating trope but when the person being cheated on is your toxic, self-absorbed, narcissistic gold digger sister? Game on.
This was a good read and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys Katelyn’s books, or to those looking for a forbidden romance with some light bondage thrown in. I mean, he calls her “bunny” and that shit had me melting onto the floor. 🪢🐰

I’m not usually one for the cheating trope, as a matter of fact, I actively avoid it. However, when I finished book 1 in this series I KNEW it didn’t matter what the tropes were I had to know what happened to the other girls that night. Insert the story of Cassi and Nico. Out of this world hot with its forbidden nature, sister’s boyfriend? Never thought I would read it and enjoy it but alas Katelyn makes me a believer of the filthy once again. Every time I think I know what I like and don’t like, here comes a new KT book and convinces me otherwise. MCs were not my favorite of Katelyn’s, but I wasn’t super bothered by that, I was too invested in the overall messiness to care much. Ready for book 3!

Ok, soooooo Katelyn... Pardon my finest what in the heck, where do I send my therapists bill, I need an adult beverage, and I think I finally read a book with (cheating??!!?? Maybe???? Kinda?????) And I was ok with it!!! Bc- this is like, life! Life and love can be fckng messy and rough and blury and chaotic sometimes. And sometimes love smacks you in the face at the most inconvenient time, and you have figure out if it's the love that you're willing to lose it all for.
Seriously tho- I'm poly, so cheating tropes just don't make sense, jealousy doesn't make sense. So I usually steer clear of them. But this... yeah, it makes it work in not an icky way, and I can't even say exactly how. The 'we were on a break' did initially piss me the fuck off when he agreed to cooperate with Carly the next day. His caveman attitude, thinking he owned her after just one night was also a tad overdone. But... fuck me. It worked gosh darn it. Sigh.
This is contemporary romance with a twist: we get to live out the 'what if' we might have felt or seen briefly in our life, but then chose the safer road. And I do love age-gaps, bc there's something about a more fully-formed frontal lobe on a man... Oh, and him being a billionaire definitely doesn't hurt 😈
But that ending??!! Yeah, I am still in shock. I am just floored. Alec was always too convenient. I wanted HIM to get a horrible ending after what he said. But shit, what happened with Carly smacked me into next week.

I really enjoyed this read, it was fast paced and drawn out in the right places for maximum effect. I liked that it presented as a forbidden love story that then took a complete twist for the ending - I knew it was gonna blow ... I just didnt expect it to go to those lengths 😧
MMC Nico was dark & broody from the moment he hit the page at the sex club 🖤 he was obsessive, protective, hard and only soft for our FMC Cassi 💖 who was the red head he never knew he needed!
Cassi the FMC with a good girl outer and an internal naughty girl who has a rope kink & a dirty mouth to go with it 🤭 I loved her pushing Nicos buttons & the car scene had me giggling and kicking my feet 💦 but I also felt for her - the family dynamic, push and pull of her morals over the sneaking around & lust for Nico ... her sisters boyfriend - although as a reader you just couldnt help but root for them 🙈 especially since Carly truly was the self entitled sister from hell! 💀
A mention has to be given to Cassi & Carlys parents who were just the cutest and totally caught unawares in the cross fire 🥺 Also to her 2 besties Ari & Nay 💘 they truly stuck together throughout even if words were harsh & judgement was thrown in places ... there's clearly more to both their stories after their night at the club!! 🔥
Overall eventhough this was not the read I thought I signed up for ... it was full of lust, romance, angst, jealously, sibling squabbles, jealous exs & a brutal yet satisfying ending ❤️🔥 I'm now excited to read Ari's story in One Night Seduction whilst we wait to see what Nay is hiding in the 3rd & final book One Night Surrender due out 21/04 🔥

Ya know what - I want to preface this by saying that Katelyn could write a phone book and I’d read it. But I want to lead with honesty in my reviews and not just my bias because I love the author.
This book had every trope I love - I’m a sucker for the cheating trope I’m a sucker for the taboo etc and I did love this book so much …. Until the 76% mark. At that time I was just downright livid. There were times before this that made me angry but that Carly POV - oh that just made me throw the book across the room.
Let’s start with how this book truly draws you in it will capture you and definitely not let go. Which is what this did for me.
Then things start to unravel.
The way Cassi speaks to her “best friend” and how she pretty much tells her off really made me angry. I know that her friend was being judgmental but she was coming from a place of concern-she was overwhelmed - cassi pretth much had been lying to her friends and wouldn’t give full truths of anything and then all the sudden she is pretty much telling her best friend that she’s with her sisters boyfriend - and then when her best friend doesn’t tell her she’s a fantastic human for being a cheater she calls her names and is so undeniably mean to her.
Then cut to when they see each other for the first time in a couple of weeks and cassi STILL feels like she’s in the right and thinks of her friend as the c u next Tuesday and I was just floored. Honestly I was so disgusted by how cassi treated her friends it made this book almost unbearable to get through or even want to. I don’t understand how you can treat your best friends of your entire life who just want what is best for you so terribly.
Then cut to Carly’s POV and I was just downright livid. I wanted to s m ack that woman seven ways to Sunday.
And then you continue to read and the 💩 just gets even more insane and so fictional I couldnt breathe I was laughing so hard at how ridiculous it all was. The ending was super insane - and I do have to give the stars for an author making me really despise every single character in the book 😂 bravo for that because I didn’t know it was possible.

Katelyn Taylor has written another absolutely addictive forbidden dark romance and I absolutely ate it up.
Cassi goes out with her best friends to celebrate her 21st birthday and has a one night stand. Their chemistry was instant, their connection strong, but when it’s over they go their separate ways.
What Cassi doesn’t expect is to run into her one night stand the next morning at her parents house and learn he’s her sister’s boyfriend.
But for Cassi and Nico, one night may not be enough, especially when they are faced with seeing each other every day.
This is definitely a listen and don’t judge recommendation. You go in expecting that Katelyn is going to take you on a thrilling, highly addictive and steamy forbidden train that you aren’t going to want to get off. And I did not want to get off.
Do I normally condone cheating, no. But did I have an absolutely wonderful time enjoying Cassi and Nico? I absolutely did. Did I eat up every single forbidden moment of them together while screaming to get her sister out of the picture? Why yes, yes I did.
The connection between Nico and Cassi was undeniable. Their chemistry was off the charts. Their personalities really complimented each other and I loved their interactions especially compared to his with her sister.
This book delivered the drama, the pleasure of something forbidden, and a villain you couldn’t stand.
If you want a deliciously spicy, forbidden romance Katelyn Taylor always delivers and One Night Scandal is no exception.

The way Nico falls so quick for Cassi. And all the little moments they share while trying to fight their attraction. The magnetic pull between them was so strong I found myself screaming that the forbidden trope was even there 💀

I truly love the way bondage was written in this book. Showcasing the level of trust in a partner. The establishment of power in both roles. And the way Nico & Cassi both were able to finally explore this shared desire without judgement *𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴🥵 I couldn’t get enough!

I will NEVER ever get over how Katelyn’s books completely destroy and eviscerate me in the BEST POSSIBLE WAYS!!!! Between the ups and downs, the character developments, mental and physical struggles, I’m entirely questioning if I’m okay or just a little woozy from the rollercoaster this book brought me. Cassi is by no means an innocent angel, she’s charismatic and entirely too quick with her quips but so entrancing. Nico is brash yet extremely calm and intelligent, he has a kindness that is only extended to a few. The chemistry between these two was incredible to see develop. The trauma that ensues had me GASPING for air. I LOVED THEM SO MUCH. I was rooting for their love The. Entire. Time. Thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of this baby, I will forever recommend your books just solely because they truly never disappoint. Also, fuck Carly. That’s all 🖤😬

Literally whiplash with a ton of plot twists lol I was def never bored reading this. Nico and Cassi had amazing chemistry. I’m not really a cheating trope girlie so I figured i’d give it a try and surprisingly not mad at it. Obviously it’s because of the circumstances in the book. I wish there was more spice because of how much chemistry there was between Nico and Cassi. In general, i enjoyed the book just like all of Katelyn’s other books 🖤

Wow. Just wow. That was a wild ride. So good! I knew based off of the first book in this series with Arianna, that this book would take a crazy turn and, boy, did it! I was on the edge of my seat for the last 40% of the book. Great plot twists. Great story. Cassi and Nico are meant to be! I can’t wait until the last book in this series comes out to find out what’s been going on with Naomi.

5 ⭐️ read! Katelyn Taylor NEVER misses!! I loved One Night Seduction- the spice, the story, the whole taboo of it. This, while in the series, is SO different. The spice, great, but not the focus. The taboo? Oh yeah, it’s taboo. But as I kept reading, I never would’ve imagined the way that it all came together and ended! I absolutely loved this! If Katelyn Taylor writes it, I’ll read it!
