Talk about stuck between a rock and a hard place! Not only is Chiemi locked inside the tennis club storage shed, but Hirata's locked in there with her--and he's completely under the control of his raging hormones! A dumb-bell upside the head may temporarily solves the libido issue, but the problem of being stuck in a claustrophobia-inducing space lingers on... until rescue arrives in the most inopportune time possible!
I didn’t really care for the first story. The chapter about Hirata and Chiemi being locked in the storage shed was kind of boring. The other two stories were way more entertaining.
Komaki and Ohno’s growing friendship was nice to see. I hope we get to see more from them in future volumes. They would make a cute couple, and it was great to see them bonding over making jewelry.
Akio was a lot. I don’t really understand her idea about having both her and Chiemi date Hirata at the same time. How would that even work; especially if Akio is going to be dating him “in secret” and not telling Hirata?
I love this series. It is so cute and makes me laugh. There are a few developments in this volume. The first chapter has Chiemi and Hirata locked in a storage shed. The next chapter is about Ohno and Yukari I thought this chapter was really cute with Yukari trying to change her image, and getting closer to Ohno. The last part of the book has a girl from Hirata past showing up. You would have to read this volume to find out what she is up to.
So this volume had a love triangle. These plotlines get a little trite and tired in shojo but this was one, was downright weird. The character, Akio, is introduced as Hirata's childhood friend and of course, jealousy (0n Chiemi's part, ensues. Worse than that, Akio decides that she and Chiemi will share Hirata as a boyfriend..without him knowing even. How weird 0.0
There was also a chapter in this volume where we get to know Choemi's friend, Yukari a little bit more and she develops a crush on Hirata's friend, Ono. It was very cute and I ship for sure.
The volume ends on a cliffhanger of action !

Still a manga with two awesome protagonists with anger management issues. Both like to solve things with their fists more so than talking and they totally fall in love with each other!!!!
Chiemi and Hirata have been locked inside the tennis club's storage shed together! Raging hormones have gotten a hold of Hirata, but fortunately for Chiemi, there's a handy set of dumbbells just laying on the floor waiting to be used.
Komaki and Ohni get to know each other a little bit better....sigh....romance?
A girl from Hirata's past comes into the picture and Chiemi is finding herself feeling insecure. Who is this girl and why is she so friendly and touchy-feely with Hirata?
Library Status
Not in my library...sigh
In Conclusion
Love Attack is a romantic comedy. A really cute fluff read that promises to at least make you smile even if they are starting to add potential love rivals!
This highly enjoyable manga by Shizuru Seino continues in volume three. This time there are three stories. Hirata and Chiemi get locked into a storage room at school at the close of the day. Can these two teens behave? In the second story, Yukara, a best friend of Chiemi , and Ohno, a best friend of Hirata find themselves thrown together. What will come of it? And, in the final story, Kuamori, an old classmate of Hirata's shows up, and it appears that she might be trouble for Chiemi. As always, these stories are a joy to read!
