College student Reese Prentice always knew she'd return to Tremont Lodge. She just didn't know how--until she saw the notice at the university center advertising jobs at the northern Michigan ski resort turned summer playland. Yet, recalling the details of her abandonment by her parents at the lodge sixteen years earlier proves harder than anticipated with work, roommates, and love interest Finn biding for her time. Then the boss's bad boy nephew Lawson makes her a deal too tempting to pass up that might get her closer to the answers hidden in her past. However, her path to discovery is cluttered when Lawson's own secrets threaten to interfere with her right to know the truth and to remain safe.

LOVED this book. It was absolutely perfection. Once I started it, I couldn't put it down. I just had to know more.
Reese is prickly and spunky. I liked her character and adored Finn. He was just so sweet! The friends she makes during her time at Tremont Lodge are quirky and I liked that.
The whole mystery surrounding the story was excellent. It kept me glued to the pages. The resolution of the story and the mystery was very satisfying and I was thrilled with how everything worked itself out.
Overall, this is a book not to be missed. It gets five glittery stars for being, well, perfect!
Another well written book by Marcy Blesy. This book was captivating and hard to put down. There were various twists and turns in the lives of Reese, Lawson, and Finn which were not expected. I loved Reese and wanted to ring Lawson's neck. I highly recommend this book!
Finding Reece is book #1 in the Tremont Lodge Series, this is the first book I have read by Marcy Blesy and I was lucky enough to be gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review so here goes....
Finding Reece, hmmm this book is a bit like reality TV you read it then sit back and think what on earth was that!!!
I'm not sure what this book is, is it a romance? well possibly there's a kind of romance all be it a quite strange one.
Is it a suspense? well not really although there is a underlying mystery about Reece and her association with the hotel.
I'm just not sure how I feel about this story, being truthful it's odd!
Reece is another odd duck she's rude and snarky one minute and then innocent and wide eyed the next!!
Seriously what the hell was going on with Lawson??? I expected him to become the love interest your typical bad boy gone good!!! I get the feeling that we haven’t seen the last of him, I really doubt he would bow out this quietly!
The intrigue definitely kept me interested and engaged but I just struggled to believe in the romance!!!
I like Finn but for some reason I just didn't trust him I was waiting for him to turn on Reece!
This is the first book in a series but I've no idea where the story would go from now...
Teds confession was completely unexpected but as soon as he said it I wasn't surprised, Personally I would love to see the author really play up the suspense and mystery because I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was going to happen next...
Helen was the best tension building character ever!!
This book made me a bit confused so it gets 3 stars from me
I received a copy of this book for an honest review.
I give this book 2.5 stars.
I wasn't sure if this was a romance or mystery/suspense. The plot of the story is good but needs to be developed more. Reese is going back to the lodge to find out what happened to her brother that was left in the room, when she was five. See sounds like a great mystery but its gets lost in the way with too many inconsistencies, one minute the brother is 5, than 16 than back to 15. Order of events here.
The romance is with the hot Finn. Now here is the thing their romance was cute but very rushed and I felt like it could have passed me by.
The other staff who become her friends could have been developed more as well. I can say that the book isn't very predictable (b/c its slight confusing), also there is a bomb that's dropped and the end...and there is a cliff hanger
If the book was any longer, I probably would not have finished it. It was hard to get interested or care about Reese. I just couldn't see what anyone saw in her. She was rude and moody. I also felt that the whole tone of the book was dreary. Sure, there were a couple of high points, but overall, dreary.
There were also a number of editing issues that were distracting. Cases of wrong words that were used that changed the meaning of the sentences and caused me to have to re-read to figure out what the word was supposed to be before I could go on.
On a positive note, I was glad that there was no foul language and no sex in the book. :-)
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This was an easy read with a lot of nooks ad crannies to uncover. I liked the simplicity of the story and the easiness of the characters. It was fast paced and interesting throughout. My only complaint that it is very tame as far as romance and sexcapades go but the drama kept it entertaining none the less. I continued to read the next two books as the story is not complete. Overall I liked this book.
I enjoyed this book by Marcy Blesy. The story was very entertaining and kept my interest. While it deals with some mature topics, I think it would be appropriate for middle school through adult readers. The author has a way of describing characters and situations so that I become attached to the characters and invested in their stories and situations. Very good writing.
