The Girl and the Last Game( Emma Griffin FBI Mystery Book 35)
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! This book was amazing. I am so happy that Emma got to Xavier in time. I was upset that Xavier had to play the Gamemaster's game, but he did much better then I expected him to do. Emma was run all over the place, trying to solve all of her cases, but I think she solved some of them even when she was worried about her family. I think she still has some work to do, like figuring out why at different times, people couldn't call her. But that is for another story. I can't wait to read the next book.
I was excited to dive into Xaviers past and watch him navigate the world with the way it challenges him. Emma's divided time between the Game Master and the current case she has stumbled upon keeps every page interesting. While there is a lot going between the two cases and the two characters, the dialogue flows easily and the plot is well constructed, sharp and not at all confusing.
I can't wait to see where this revelation in Emma and Xavier's relationship takes them next. Overall a great read as always.
I love all Emma griffen books and this one is another great one. As much as I hate to say it, after 35 books I'm ready for her to retire and spend much needed time with Sam Now that he will be mayor he will be home regular hours tending his garden and chickens. Emma needs to become the artist she once dreamed of being. It seems the only quality time they have is when she is in the hospital. Sorry but I just feel it's time.
A.J. Rivers nailed this one! The Emma Griffin series is my favorite, and the stories just keep getting better and better with every new book she writes! I’m so happy to hear that the Emma Griffin series will continue on…In the meantime, it has been fun diving in to A.J. River’s other series and exploring some of my favorite characters in greater depth (talking about you, Dean and Ava). I can’t ever seem to put these books down!
Of all the books in this series (or any of the other AJ Rivers series), this is my favorite. It has all the intrigue of past books, all the wonderful characters, and bits of past stories. I love the way it wrapped up this "season" of the Emma Griffin series.
This book is another one I could not put down. Xavier seems to be at the center of the story and you really get to know him. He's always in her stories, but you find out what his story is for the first time. Nice ending.
I love Xavier! His outlook on everything is so different and usually makes so much sense. Emma had her hands full this time, with 2 cases going at the same time. This family knows the true meaning of quality time.
Rivets does not disappoint!! I think this is best o e she has written yet. Howe er, although Xavier was quite present, there was vert little Dean. I certainly hope they have stronger presence I future books, or more books of their own.
Thank you A.J. Rivers. I have followed Emma Griffin from book one and feel like part of her loving family. Xavier will always be my favorite. I’m glad he is settled in his new home surrounded by family, Cupcake and his growing family of furry friends
Oh my..... I could not put it down. Zavi's story answered so many questions. Cupcake is still the cutest! This book moved from beginning to end so quickly I will have to reread again. These characters are the best
Another suspenseful book with Emma and the gang. I loved how this one focused mostly on Xavier and his background. The story kept me on the edge of my seat and I can not wait for the next one to find out more of what Xavier is hiding.
This is a great storyline! I loved it! Wonderful characters, wonderful detours and excursions! You will Love It too! Emma always brings great story and this is one of the BEST!
Between the Game Master and the horror movie ranch killings, Emma has plenty on her plate.
While the source of the Game Master’s inside knowledge wasn’t clear to me, nor the motive for the horror movie ranch homicides, I was satisfied with the reveals.
For some reason I thought this was the last book. So excited to see another. Emma, Xavior, and Dean never disappoint. This, like all the others, have kept me engrossed and I enjoyed it immensely.
This was a excellent story about Xavier being involved in the game and Emma coming to help him with lots of suspense and action. Thank you for this great story.
I like how all the pieces come together and everything makes sense in the end. I like learning about the past secrets that tie the whole plot together.
