Piper Black had left Philadelphia for the bright lights of Vegas hoping to make it as a professional dancer. Much like most other young women dreaming of fame though Piper finds herself struggling and ends up working as an exotic dancer.
When Piper gets the chance to return home to Philadelphia for her five year reunion she has no plans of letting anyone know just how she earns a living. Meeting up with her high school crush, Reed, and sleeping with him but after returning to Vegas Piper runs into Reed at the last place she ever thought she would.
The first part of a series Sinful Desires is just enough of the story to get the reader hooked and wet their taste for the rest of the book. Just as you get to know Piper and Reed the story ends with a huge cliffhanger to set up the next in the series.
I'd have to say I was just getting quite interested in where this one would go when it ended. Not too sure where it will end up with the story so far. It seemed to have some things happen in this one that were completely dropped and not explained yet and Reed really seemed like a completely horrible character so far so not sure where a relationship could possibly head. Good start to the series though making it a bit unpredictable.

This is part 1 in a 4 part erotic serial. It’s 100 pages, so it’s not really long. It is just long enough for you to get to know Piper, get involved in her situation, start questioning some things.....then spin you in a circle and run you in a wall!
I won’t go into a lot of details, because I really don’t want to give too much away. Piper grew up in a in Philly and attended a prestigious private school on a scholarship. Most of the other students treated Piper like she was beneath them. It’s been 5 years since graduation and Piper has moved from Philly to Vegas to be a dancer. Her dancing dreams didn’t exactly pan out and now she’s working as an exotic dancer. Since her mother’s death, Piper doesn’t really have any family, but she does have a best friend, who convinces Piper to attend the 5 year reunion. Nothing much has changed since high school, but she does run into her high school crush and sparks fly. When she returns to Vegas, Piper’s already crappy situation gets worse and she’s pushed to do something she never has in order to pay rent and things end up going from bad to worse.
Oh the questions!
1) Am I the only one was noticed that Reed’s wording was intentionally vague? It was like the horror movies where you scream at the girl through the TV screen. I was screaming at my Kindle. “Don’t you think you should ask him to be more specific? Read between the lines! READ BETWEEN THE LINES!!!!” Yes, that was me.
2) Something wasn’t right with that water bottle! Who was behind that?
3) Brock, Brock, Brock…..Are you a good witch or a bad witch?
I’m not a prude and I really don’t find myself as judgmental, but I honestly wasn’t sure I would be able to relate to Piper, the exotic dancer. M.S. Parker was smart, because the focus was on a girl that felt different and alone. Most women can relate to those feelings and it made you feel for Piper’s situation and past. The girl needed a dang hug. I wanted to call her best friend, so she could come to the rescue.
I am not commenting on the men at this time, because I have not made my decision as to whether either is awesome or a monster. If I was a Magic 8-ball, I would say ‘Reply Hazy Try Again’.
Holy Sh!t! I don't know what I expected, but that wasn't it. I feel like crying, because I NEED the volume 2 NOW! Thank goodness I only have to wait a week!!

M.S Parker has done it once again!! This book is phenomenal and I want more!!! This is definitely not the first book I have read by M.S and it will not be the last! I fell in love with every single thing about this book including the characters, the plot line, the HOT scenes and even the ending! Yes, the ending came as a huge shocker to me; however, I felt that the author added in a brilliant twist that will leave readers begging for more!! This is a definite must read!!! 5 HUGE STARS!!

I absolutely love this author. She has a unique writing style that pulls you right in. In this new serial series by this hot new author, we meet Piper. A young woman who works in a gentleman's club. She is a girl running from her past though at times it is difficult. As we follow Piper's journey, she will run into old lovers and meet new lovers. Who will win Piper's heart in the end?
In Volume 1 of this series, we meet Piper black. Stripping to make ends meet is what she knows. When her friend insists she come home for her high school reunion, she is reluctant but goes anyway. When she see her old flame, Reed, again, she decides to take the opportunity. After an explosive night, they part ways. When she sees him again, will she give him another chance or is Reed's future too much for her to handle?
I love Piper though I want to strangle her at times. Her life is already complicated but this poor girl keeps having it thrown at her over and over. I have enjoyed watching Piper grow and become stronger with each volume. She is learning to take charge and demand what she wants. It is empowering. Fingers crossed that Piper chooses with her heart when it comes to love!
I highly recommend this series and author!

She loves that she gets to see her best friend Anastascia, but that is the only thing from high school that she is looking forward to. Piper wasn't like the rest of graduating class, she didn't come from money, she grew up on the wrong side of the tracks.
Returning to Philly is going pretty much as well as expected until she sees Reed Stirling. He was her high school crush, she still feels that spark when he shakes her hand. Sleeping with him was the high point of her visit home.
Seeing Reed in Vegas is unexpected surprise especially under the circumstances. Can Reed correct his mistakes? Can Piper ever forgive him?
M.S. Parker has peaked my interest with this one. Judging from this book alone this series has some great potential. I can't wait to see where the rest of the books takes Piper.

oh my lord....if you have read ms parkers other books than you know she is an amazing writer...but this time she has taken it too a whole new level...i received this as an arc for an honest review...piper goes home for her highschool reunion....and sleeps with her highschool crush Reed..too only later be a stripper at his bachelor party...to be hit on by his soon to be brother in law....Reed wants to keep seeing Piper on the side even though he still plans on getting married...and then Brock...soon to be brother in law makes an offer to Piper...what will she do...which mans offer will she accept Reeds or Brocks....tune in for book two can't wait....loved this book

Outstanding! I couldn't help but feel proud of Piper as she moves through life and the choices that she's made. Holding onto dreams is sometimes what gets us through life. Yet, meeting up with your high school crush is bound to mess up your not so perfect world and set it onto a collision course of mistakes and mistrust. Piper and Reed have incredible chemistry. Does a family obligation absolve you of cheating? Can Piper find closure? Does she even want to? M.S. Parker has truly succeeded in having my mind go round in circles for how this is all going to play out! Sinful Desires Vol 1 was incredible and I can't wait for book 2! This is a must read!

I liked this first installment of this series. I can't wait to read the next one... In this story we meet piper. This girl has gone through challenges in her life. Piper is coerced into attending her reunion, with really the only benefit of seeing one of her closest friends. Until her dream guy from high school becomes an unexpected reality. Reed Stirling, is even more delicious than she remembers, but Piper knows it's just one night or so she thinks....he ends up in Vegas but not under the circumstances that she expects.
I can't wait to read the next installment!!! This book had me as frustrated as Piper:) Can't wait to see how this unfolds!!!

Ok I'm rating this book 3.5 stars but because of Amazon and goodreads i have rounded it up to 4 stars. This book was good, I loved the storyline but it was so so short. I just wish it could of been a bit longer as it's a great read, it just left me disappointed that it was so short. I dont mind the volumes but I just felt this was shorter than any other I've read.
I loved the characters and I liked Reed till the end. I couldn't believe what a douche he was. Piper is a great character and I felt sorry for her. I will read the next volume as I need to know if Piper takes Brocks offer.

This is the first volume in this series and I loved it. Piper, the main character, finally connects with her high school crush and turns out he has a secret. Can she overlook the secret? Do they have a future? I can't wait to find out where this goes next.

My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Stars
Initially, I had only signed up to review the first volume of Sinful Desires but M.S. Parker was so generous to send ARCs of two volumes instead of just the first. It seemed silly to only review one when two were present, especially considering the cliffhanger ending that was essential in volume one and, unfortunately for me, also in volume two.
SinfulDesires1Tease2Spoilers aren't something I enjoy, so I won't touch too much on the plot as the twists are a big part of this quick, light read. But I will say that Reed turns out to be a guy I would love to squash like a big, fat, juicy, tick. The nerve of this man! Augh!
Piper Black never fit in, mostly because she was from the wrong side of the tracks and was bullied by most of her high school classmates. It was only her best friend Anastascia that made life tolerable as the sole scholar in an upscale school. Otherwise, she either didn't exist or was ridiculed. Not quite a basis for fond memories of teen years.
It didn't get any easier as she grew older as her mother fell sick and was fired from her job, forcing them both to survive on Piper's meager savings for dance school. Her mother's death was more than she could take and she moved to Las Vegas with dreams of breaking into the world of dance.
Dreams aren't reality, though, and Piper ends up as an exotic dancer. Then Anastascia reminds her about their reunion and despite her misgivings, she decides to go. It turns out things haven't changed and Piper is just as looked down as ever. The only bright spot is the attention given to her by her former crush, Reed Stirling. His interest leads her to decide to sleep with him, putting to rest the "what-ifs", while gaining a happy memory of a heated, satisfying, erotic encounter. BUT, he's not what she thinks he is.
They unexpectedly meet again in Las Vegas while she's doing her job, and it's not a happy encounter. She also gets off to a bad start with Brock Michaels, who decides to make up for it by paying her to be his date at an upcoming wedding. What happens afterwards is something she never expected. Is Brock the man she hopes he could be? Is he sincere in what he says and does or is he playing her, too?
Piper is a realist, and while she isn't proud of how she ended up, she tries to keep her dignity while making a living. There aren't any starry-eyed dreams of how she'll end up with a rich, handsome man or make a fortune overnight. She has her feet on the ground and her eyes wide open. But each time she tries to think positively, she gets burned. Badly. It's not a wonder that she has no faith in humanity.

Reed may be the main character here but he is someone I love to hate. He might be sweet, but there is no backbone to be seen in him anywhere. He can't make a choice, he can't stand up for himself, and he can't think. If there is something positive about him, I don't see it yet. No way would he be my choice for hero - even if I think that's how he'll end up - which shows how well M.S. Parker weaves a story and got me invested in the characters!
What happens in the third volume of Sinful Desires? How will M.S. Parker make Reed likable (for me, anyway)? Or will Brock win the girl? Piper needs to make some hard decisions and I must to know what they are!

This is the first of four volumes in the Sinful Desire Series and should be read in order.
After Piper Black’s mother died, she moved to Las Vegas to pursue her dreams of becoming a dancer, but the only kind of dances she’s doing these days are exotic ones. It’s not what she wanted but it puts a roof over her head. After being talked into going to her high school reunion Piper runs into her high school crush, Reed Stirling and ends up sleeping with him. She thought she could leave what happen in Philadelphia there but when she least expected it, Reed shows back up in her life with a secret that could ruin any chance of them being together.
I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.
Piper is a woman who is trying to make her dreams come true, she sometimes comes off as a lost soul. I love how Piper stood up for herself but at the same time had weakness we all have. She’s a strong woman who hasn’t had an easy life. In fact her life is so realistic made it easier it to relate to her character. A lot of people don’t like to remember what high school was like or what happened during their time there and Piper is no different. The affect high school had on her is close to what a lot of people had experienced. This made the story different from others I have read.
Reed Stirling was the typical high school rich boy with a god complex that most girls had a crush. He comes off as an Alpha male, demanding what he wants from his female companion but he submits to his family’s demands easily. I’m still trying to figure out what his angle is and why he won’t just tell his family that he won’t follow their wishes. I look forward to seeing more sides of his character in the next 3 volumes.
I’ve been a fan of M. S. Parker’s since she released her first volume of the Club Prive Series and I have yet to fine one of her stories less than amazing. She delivered another great start to a series and I can’t wait to see where she takes Piper and Reed. These two are probably my favorite characters she has written so far and I’m happy I don’t have to wait too long for the next volume to come out. Another fabulous book and a 5 star read. I highly recommend this to my fellow readers.

Piper is a woman who is trying to make her dreams come true, she sometimes comes off as a lost soul. I love how Piper stood up for herself but at the same time had weakness we all have. She’s a strong woman who hasn’t had an easy life. In fact her life is so realistic made it easier it to relate to her character. A lot of people don’t like to remember what high school was like or what happened during their time there and Piper is no different. The affect high school had on her is close to what a lot of people had experienced. This made the story different from others I have read.
Reed Stirling was the typical high school rich boy with a god complex that most girls had a crush. He comes off as an Alpha male, demanding what he wants from his female companion but he submits to his family’s demands easily. I’m still trying to figure out what his angle is and why he won’t just tell his family that he won’t follow their wishes. I look forward to seeing more sides of his character in the next 3 volumes.
I’ve been a fan of M. S. Parker’s since she released her first volume of the Club Prive Series and I have yet to fine one of her stories less than amazing. She delivered another great start to a series and I can’t wait to see where she takes Piper and Reed. Initially, I loved the first installment of the Sinful Desires series but as the story continued my loved turned into a like. Piper has had it rough since her mother passed, but she still wanted to become a dancer and continued to hold on to that dream. Even though she wasn't exactly doing the type of dance she had in mind, Piper remained positive and didn't get entangled in the life of a Las Vegas exotic dancer. After being convinced to return home to Philadelphia to attend her high school reunion, Piper reconnects with her crush Reed Stirling the chemistry is there. There one night together is all that Piper could have hoped for, and she returns to her life in Vegas. A few weeks later and another chance encounter with Reed leaves Piper angry and hurt, she accepts a date from another man who's intentions are suspicious.
It's at this point the story changes for me. That night in Vegas altered my opinion of Piper. Initially, I empathized with her and felt bad at the way life her life turned out. I was happy she wasn't jaded by her circumstances. But I also expected a girl who had stripped for two years to have a little more street smart, and Piper didn't. That one night changed the story for me and made a five heart story a four heart story. As always M.S. Parker never disappoints in her sex scenes, that along with her wonderful writing made me want to know what happened next. Will Reed be able to choose between his family and Piper? Piper Black is not living the life she dreamed of. She worked hard through school, getting a scholarship to attend the prestigious private high school, also waitressing in the evenings and weekends to save money for college. However when her Mom became sick, she had to use her savings to keep the household afloat. After four years, she had lost her mother and her lifesavings. Moving to Las Vegas she dreams of attending college someday and majoring in dance. But again, life has thrown her a curveball.
Piper is dancing, but it is as an exotic dancer. When she got to Vegas and not finding a waitressing job, she had to do something to not only survive, but start building her savings account back up. It’s degrading and depressing, but it keeps a roof over her head and food on the table. When Anastascia, one of the few friends from her days in high school calls to remind her about the class reunion the following weekend, Piper is filled with dread. Most of the high class snobs looked down on her and made her life in high school miserable. Wanting an escape from her life, she accepts the gift of an airline ticket from her friend and flies home.
At the reunion, Piper quickly remembers just how painful life was for her in school. The comments and whispering about her starts almost immediately, and she leaves the banquet hall to get some air. Taking in deep breathes to calm her nerves and fight back the tears, a man who approaches her. He is none other than Reed Sterling, the guy she had a crush on all through school. When their flirting turns into a one night fling, Piper returns home with at least one happy memory of the trip. But when their paths cross again, Reed is not so ready to just let her go. Can she give him a chance, and live the life he is offering or should she go with a totally different plan. A plan that will end in a surprise for all involved?

In this volume we meet Piper. She had to give up her dreams of dance school to work crappy jobs and help pay for her mother's health care when she fell ill. Not something Piper wants to do; she was not exactly Miss popular back then and doesn’t want to explain what she does in Vegas now to those snotty rich girls. The last thing Piper expected when she landed in Philly again was to run into her old crush Reed. Reed takes one look at Piper and wants her for his own. He sets out to have her. They have a wonderful night and Piper is sure that will be the end of it. Circumstances or just plain blind luck intervenes and Piper runs into Reed once again, only this time it’s not only in Vegas but of all things a bachelor party. Feeling hurt and confused Piper wants to run away. Reed insists he wants Piper in his life. Will Reed give up everything to be with Piper who he claims to want so badly? I have always been a huge M.S. Parker fan but this series just sealed the deal. Sinful Desires is beyond addictive and each book left me craving more. Each story is short, so not a huge time commitment, but each is also jam packed with intrigue, tension, and sex that you won’t be able to put it down.
The series starts off with Piper, a girl who is down on her luck and alone except for her best friend making her way back to Philadelphia from Las Vegas to attend her 5 year class reunion. At this reunion she runs into her high school crush, Reed. Their chemistry is instant and before long they are spending a night full of passion together. But Reed is holding secrets. Big secrets. And the ending….it left me in shock. This book was an roller coaster ride and I loved every minute of it. Who can Piper trust or not trust and what is Reed’s big secret? This book was gorgeously written, intense and filled with drama. The perfect start to a brand new series.
Each and every book in this story just gets better and better. There are 5 stories in all and each will leave you in shock and full of emotion. This is a story of Piper trying to decide who to trust and what life she should be living. This whole series lacks for nothing. It is absolute perfection and I would highly recommend it.

Will Piper be able to move on or will this secret crush her?
This book was well written and I easily fell in love with Piper and her plight. I celebrated for her when she finally got the dream come true experience and felt her fury and pain when it all came toppling down on her. I cannot wait for the next volume. There is a cliffhanger and it’s a great short read and beginning volume to the series. It left me panting for more. It’s hot and leaves you begging for more! I definitely recommend this book and of course, I love MS Parker!

However due to her best friend she ends up going back for her and the last person that she expected to bump into was her old crush Reed Stirling, and I take it you can pretty much can guess what went on next as she ends up disappearing for a bit with Reed.

However when she does recognise him she is honestly shocked considering the job she is doing is for the grooms bachelor party. What will happen now considering she slept with Reed back in Philadelphia and now she finds out that he is about to get married.
I fell in love with Piper as she has been through so much but she is still strong minded and refuses to ask for help off anyone including her best friend. However she refuses to ever let anything get in the way. I hope that you guys fall in love with her as well. You will be begging for more once you have read this book, you will be excited when you read the next one.

I have enjoyed reading two previous series by M.S. Parker, so I thought I would give the Sinful Desires series a try. I like the premise of returning home for a class reunion to jumpstart the storyline. Piper's life did not take the direction she had expected. She dreamed of being a dancer, but not the exotic type she is now. Being a scholarship student in a rich high school Piper never felt she belonged. Her only positive experiences in the school were her best friend and her high school crush, Reed Stirling. Can she really go home to the reunion and not have terrible time? Once she decides to go, her life takes a spin she never expected. A hot steamy one night stand, a return home, and a stunning revelation shatters her once stable, but unhappy world. A new man makes a proposal that she should refuse, but will she? Or will she return to Philadelphia and return the favor and shatter someone else's world? Even though this book ends in a slight cliffhanger, the next book is available to resolve the issues. The writing is detailed and the sex scenes nicely done. I can't wait to see what the next book brings.

I'm completely blown away once again by the way M.S. Parker can take her readers on a journey with her words. Part 1 of Sinful Desires had my heart racing with anticipation at times and sympathy during other times. Piper has had a rough life, she experience extreme loss and pain when she not only loses one that she holds dear but the realization that her dreams for her future are just something she has to let go as well. She takes what she is given and tries to keep her head above water any way possible. Just when she gets used to her life and excepts what she has to do to survive what does fate decided to throw her way... a curve ball in the shape of a chance meeting with her high school crush that she never saw a chance with. She has to decide if she can handle taking a swing or just letting this pass her by. Reed has more curves and twists for Piper then he has money in the bank. Can she survive this like she has survived everything else in her past? I can't wait to read more to find out. Well done M.S. Parker well done. I am truly hooked. Those damn reunions!

My review:
This is one of the romance book series which made me fall in love with the trend of dropping the love interest from the first book, and introducing a new, better man later in the series.
I hated Reed, the high school crush she has a one night stand with, but I put up with him because I thought that he would be redeemed. And he was better than the other choice, Brock, who kept cheating on her.
It wasn't until the fourth book, and Julien was introduced, that I finally realised how abusive and toxic her relationships with Reed and Brock were. I was so happy that she actually let Reed go and ended up with Julien. The author didn't make her stay with Reed, just because he was the love interest in the first book.
There are so many books that I wish did this (Fangirl, The Selection, After, The Kiss of Deception, Shadow and Bone), but it never happened. There was always only ever one or two choices, and they were both the worst. This series honestly spoiled me. It gave me hope that more books would actually address the bullshit relationship and actually give the female lead a love interest who isn't utter shite.
From what I remember, Not Safe.

I loved the Chasing Perfection series so I jumped on this new serial from MS Parker when I saw the blurb.
The writing was just as great as I have come to expect and I really enjoyed Piper. She has never had an easy life by any definition but she is strong and intelligent, doing what she has had to do in order to survive. Her best friend Anastacia was a great secondary character who I hope to see more of.
Reed on the other hand is a completely different story. He comes from a rich and powerful family, and his sister is a spoiled entitled bitch who enjoys ripping on others she perceives as beneath her- like Piper. Although Reed tries to distance himself from her actions, true colors always shine through. Once his secret was revealed, I wanted nothing more than to see him get junk- punched at a minimum. As this installment ends I have zero love for his character and I am curious to see what MS does next.
