I knew she was mine the very first time I saw her. But it wasn’t love at first sight; it was the instantaneous
knowledge that she belonged to me.

But I’m Evan Morris, the Prince, the heir, the monster; and I ruin everything I touch.

So, I looked, but never allowed myself to claim; because I refuse to ruin her.

Sammy Hartley is the very best of us. She’s brave, strong, wild and free.

She’s everything I’ll never allow myself to own.

I’ve done so many bad things, that loving her and never having her was supposed to be my penance.

Only now my wild one is running, scared that she’s not truly one of us.

Even though I knew it’d kill me, I was willing to let her go.

But then the last person I’d ever expect, offered me carte blanche to become a monster.

They begged me to do whatever it took to bring Sammy home and cage her with my love.

But I don’t need a cage to capture my woman. I’ll entwine her with chains so fine she won’t feel them until they
pull tight.

And by the time she knows she’s trapped; escaping will be the last thing on her mind.

3.5 ⭐️

It's the end of a series!! And this one, Evan, is extra red flags, lol. We have their past/present, so we see how they met. And I loved the pov from them. We know how Sammy wanted Evan and vise versa. But Evan was filled with guilt after what he did to his sistersister in book 1. So he doesn't go after Sammy. He rejects her not once but twice but still tells her she's his. I felt bad for Sammy because she wanted him. And since he didn't wanna make a move, she moved on.

Now present time!! Sammy isn't coming back and is engaged to her ex. This doesn't sit well with Evan, and Starling gives him the okay to go after her. So he likes every guy.
Tracking implants, stalking, Blackmail and some removal of an IUD. It's a lot, lol. And more stuff he does. But Sammy, unlike the other girls, she takes it, lol. Plus, there is a plot twist i think a lot saw coming, haha. Now, the series is over. Had fun with these red flag men.

Saftey- so we know Sammy is a flirt was mentioned she flirted and dated guys, and nothing sexual happened because Evan scared them off. Nothing but kiss happens with the finance. So it's not really cheating since they were not official thanks to Evan. He had to watch her date and all that.

No ow/om drama, no cheating, secondary character, drama, sexy times, no virgins

4 - 4.5 stars!

Who would have thought Evan would be the most psychotic!?

Better yet…who would have expected that plot twist?! Because holy hell.

Oblivion is the fourth book in Gemma’s Alphaholes series and it doesn’t hold back. Sammy and Evan have always been attracted to each other but Evan has always held himself back due to guilt. But when Sammy leaves their tight knit group for a different life, Starling gives Evan full reign to bring her home.

And bring her home he does. He bulldozes through every aspect of her life and brands her in all the ways he can despite her fight.

“You don’t look hateful. You look horny. Shall I make you come? I don’t care if it’s an angry orgasm. It’ll still taste the same all over my face.”

I loved this. I loved Evan and all his unhinged behavior. I loved Sammy and her unwavering acceptance of what she wanted and needed. These two were fire and legit crazy. Gemma writes red flags with perfection and enough heat to make me 🥵🥵🥵.

I feel like I've waited forever and a day for this book and it did not disappoint!

Evan Morris is up there with his brother's craziness, but I feel he went a smidge more crazy than them.
Some of his antics were so OTT that I had to question my own sanity, as I loved it all so much!
It's like Gemma Weir went inside my book mind and gave me all the bits I love in my alphaholes and made Evan.
And I am so here for it ❤️

Slight spoilers ahead:
A few ideas of what to expect:

*Drugging
*BC tampering
*Breeding
*Somo
*Tattooing
*Mild bondage (gold chains)
*And just pure yum! 😍

As for Sammy our feisty FMC, she is just perfection. She's just what I wanted for our leading lady and more..
I love that she knows what she wants and goes for it, she's strong and doesn't fight Evan (much) when he finally comes for her.

Now there is a plot twist towards the end, which I didn't see coming (but I loved) and though I kept waiting for something huge to happen (like with the other books when we got a runaway FMC) But Oblivion didn't have this, which I was a little disappointed about.
As it's not really a 3rd act breakup I want, just a little more drama.
But this didn't change my rating, it still deserves the 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Now this book series has been amazing, I adore all the characters and love the family unit they've (and Gemma) created. And after reading that Gemma Weir isn't finished with the Alphaholes series, I gave a whoop in delight!!!
I would love to see a book from all the other characters POV and many years down the road.
Maybe even lining up a new generation of Alphaholes with their kids coming together? 😏
I just know that I need more, I am that invested in these characters and their lives.

Gemma Weir has such a talent when it comes to writing. I am a huge fan and she's my go-to author when I need an OTT crazy man fix.

Her Mountain Man series is perfection, but let's not forget her MC series (Archers Creek)

Can not wait for the next book to released.

Buy them all, read them all. You won't regret it.

Oh Evan- I was NOT ready!!! So having been a fan of this series it’s no shock this book is amazing. The previous books made me think Evan would be softer, more gentle with Sammie. I WAS VERY WRONG. This book was everything and more, perfect end to an amazing series. The spice was at its highest!🔥🔥I don’t want to give any spoilers but Evan is OTT Possessive and I am here for it. Clark Kent gets his girl and makes sure she can never leave him. This book is everything and more!

The author really shouldn’t classify these books as romances. Not because they do illegal and immoral things to get their girl, but because the MMCs do not care about the MFCs AT ALL. They have zero respect for their feelings, desires, or opinions.

And for being billionaire geniuses, they’re all absolute morons. Half of their psycho behavior isn’t even necessary. They just do it because they get off on physically and emotionally abusing the women they supposedly love.

And, all the characters in this book (with a very few exceptions) do not act like actual human beings! I’m determined that the author has never once visited the East Coast or turned on a TV, because according to her, anyone in D.C. or with any connection to politics acts and dresses as if they are stuck in the 1960s!

Half of the dialogue in this book is seemingly intelligent people asking stupid questions so they can be told what’s happening in the story… resulting in us (the readers) hearing the same plot points over and over and OVER again.

Samantha/Sammy is apparently the only child to ever leave home for college and has to develop an alter ego to be herself while she’s in California, despite her confirming that her parents are wonderful and love her. And after she moves back home (after literally only a few months!), she can never speak or interact with the friends she made while she was in college.

And despite her family being absolutely loaded, she still talks about the “alphaholes” as if she’s seeing how the other half lives. It must be terribly hard to be only a millionaire surrounded by billionaires. I know I can’t compare, but cry me a fucking river.

"Once I graduate from college, I have to get a real job. My family is rich, and I have a trust fund that will ensure I never struggle for money, but my family isn't rich enough that I can just float through life without a care in the world."

Evan is an asshole who gets off on watching the “love of his life” being psychologically tortured. I honestly thought nothing could be worse than Hunter’s book, but Evan proved me wrong! He not only treats her like a dog and tries to “train her,” he also legitimately likes hurting her or making her do something that makes her uncomfortable.

"I don't enjoy her fear, but I definitely don't hate it as much as I should. The look in her eyes as I threaten her is as exciting as it is horrifying."

Also, I’m sorry, but if I never have to read the word “pussy plug” ever again, I’ll die happy.

The breeding kink was WAY too much. And I don’t mind a breeding kink, but Evan took it to a whole new cringy level.

"They won't know unless you tell them that we're late because we had to stop so I could mount my perfect little broodmare."

I was genuinely disappointed they got a HEA at the end of this book. I was half hoping Evan would die in a "tragic" car accident.

What bugs me most about this series is the nonchalant way the women talk about the psychotic and abusive behaviors of their partners, and talk about how wrong it is, but giggle and accept it.

✨E-ARC Review✨

Gemma Weir really knows how to write possessive, red flagged men and honestly I will devour every book without fail👏🏼 Firstly I’d like to say read the authors note and check your triggers but Gemma states from the get go what you are getting into when you read this series… but if you’re like me and you like crazy, obsessed fictional men then you’re definitely in the right place.

If you have been following along in the series you will already know that these men fall hard for their women and will do absolutely everything and anything to ensure that their woman is theirs and only theirs, and Evan is certainly no exception to this.

From glimpses of Evan and Sammy throughout the series you would see that these two definitely had an undeniable connection but Evan held off because Sammy was his step sisters best friend. Of course Sammy could only take rejection so many times and decided to move on with her life but by doing this it definitely gave Evan the kick he needed to go after Sammy and he definitely went over the top to get her.

As this is the fourth book in the series we definitely see the bond between all of the characters strengthen in comparison to what we saw at the beginning of the series and this warms my heart. One of my most favourite friendships is definitely between Sammy and Sebastian 🥹

I don’t want to give too much away but Gemma definitely shocked me in the final few chapters of this book and I welcomed this unexpected turn of events gladly. It was definitely nice seeing someone getting a taste of their own medicine 😂

Thank you so much to the author who provided this e-arc for my honest thoughts 💭

Evan and Sammy were fire!
Since the first book, they have both felt connected, but Evan cannot be with Sammy due to his past actions.

Now, after waiting long enough, Sammy decided to move on. She has to come back to reality, meaning she returns home.

Evan finally understands how deep his connection to Sammy truly is and now he has to fight for a chance.

I enjoyed this book and the chemistry between Evan and Sammy, they were meant for each other and were able to understand each other. Sammy lived for Evan's craziness and madness, she is his equal.
I liked watching her, be herself and with Evan, she felt more free to do so.

Evan grew a lot since the first book, and he is crazy as his brothers. I loved it.

The bond with the group was everything, I love their connection and support that they have for each other.

Will miss this series but had to give it 4/5 because I feel like it is missing something and just needed a little bit more.

This had one of my favorite and least favorite tropes in the same book. I hate when there's a plot twist from the main character who was directly involved in it, yet the places in their inner monolog they'd naturally think about it/ what they did, is purposely left out. It's such an unrealistic way of thinking. On a positive note, it proved Sammy was an unhinged girly. And I do love that in books. Where they are just as crazy as the MMCs. ❤️

I'm torn between 4 and 4.5 🌟 stars. I was so entertained the entire book. Evan was so unhinged, but he wasn't the worst of them by far. That honor goes to Hunter, whose book was my least favorite. Evan was unhinged in a more fun way. He's my favorite MMC from the series.

So so fun. I'll be thinking about my final rating.

Really liked Evan, I'm picturing a young clark kent vibe. He was dark and a little messed up.
I was unsure if I was a huge fan of Sammy, honestly, tougher brass balls heroines are not really my favourite, she had her softer moments, more submissive moments but as the twist came I realised thats not really what they were, she was just happy and content lol.
Overall, it was a fantastic story with a twist at the end.
There are so many red flags 🚩ALL the red flags.
Breeding/pregnancy kink
Pregnancy at the end.
And most excitingly, an author notes that there will be another book. I can't WAIT.

OMG. What to say? I’m OBSESSED with this series and I’d love to see it continue. Evan and Sammy’s book was amazing. Who would have thought that Evan would be more devious than even Hunter? And that twist at the end? GENIUS. Gemma Weir is incredible and so was this book. Just WOW.

I think I am just not a fan of writing style. The plot line was quite interesting but I still didn’t like the characters.

There is a bit of emotional cheating. The h might not be as in love w om and the engagement might be planned but there were feelings
The whole character arcs were v weak.

I am glad the h didn’t throw a hissy fit for H’s actions. This made me enjoy the book more. I do wish she would have created a scene when the H destroyed a man’s life for just touching her

3.5 stars. Great final book in the series! (Although the authors’s note said she’s not done? Hm. I say quit when you’re ahead)

I was skeptical for the first half, because monogramming your initials into a woman’s wardrobe isn’t exactly the bulldozing i expect from these guys. But it picked up midway and then i loved the twist! LOVED IT!

didn’t really need the epilogue.

⚠️⚠️⚠️spoilers - whole story***
I highly recommend reading the books in order, otherwise it is confusing.

Sammy has always felt at home in Cali with the group (Sebastian / Starling, Clay / January, Hunter / Bunny, and Evan) but she also feels like she doesn’t belong, that she isn’t good enough. She has a whole other life back home in DC. She comes from old political money. Her life was basically planned out but she went to Cali for school to get a break. She broke up with her boyfriend Drew before going. (Drew truly aspired to be president or as high as he could go).
Evens knew instantly that Sammy was his but he also wanted to protect her from his psychotic ways (like all the other males of the house, they do some pretty disgusting, degrading, demeaning, and destructive things to ensure they get their girl). So Evan ignores her, and in return she ignores him. She attempts twice to engage a relationship but the second time, they fool around but he leaves before she wakes up and literally pretends nothing happened. Sammy gives up and tries to move on. During summer break, Evan thinks it’ll be good to get her away so he can have clarity but he just becomes more miserable. Sammy doesn’t come back at the beginning of the semester because he dad had a heart att@ck. She keeps putting off telling the group she has made a life changing decision.
While back home, her and Drew connect on a friendship level, very platonic. He helps her through her father’s hospitalization. She sees Drew as safe and a life she could be happy with. She does have love for Drew. Sammy is finally convinced to come back but at the airport, Drew stops her and proposes. She says yes. She tells her friends in Cali and even though she tries to seem happy, they can see through the lie. Starling tells Evan to go bring Sammy back by any means necessary. Evan does just that and goes to DC.
He invades her room at night, switching out her things to newer with his initials hidden, sometimes obvious instead. He tattoos his initials over her ring finger and takes the engagement ring, he brings a physician in and has him take her IUD out!!!!
Evan does help Sammy realize Drew may like Sammy but he isn’t in love with Sammy, he is using her to create a “perfect” family for his future campaign. Evan sends the inappropriate pictures of Sammy he has taken over the last year - and recently, to Drew. This forces Drew to call Sammy and dump her. She is confused at first but Drew shows her the pics. She says Drew should’ve fought for her and leaves. She calls Sebastian and he tells her he has a plane waiting to bring her home (to Cali)!!!
Evan approaches Drew and tells him never to speak of her or to her again. Then he goes to her parents house and tells them 98% of the truth, leaving out the fact he caused all this, but once he drops his name (high up family name), they don’t seem to care.
Evan goes back to Cali and basically claims her in every way possible. He does kind of manipulate her into doing the things he wants her to. But Sammy‘s in her monologue enjoys it.
Evan warns her that if another man touches her in any way, even bumping into her on the street by accident, he will ruin their whole life along with their family. Sammy test Evan and accidentally allows a man to touch her while dancing. When she realizes Evan wasn’t bluffing, and he absolutely is planning on ruining that man’s life, she realizes her mistake and pleads and begs for him not to do that. But Evan won’t back down. He tells her they’re getting married and she has a choice. It could be the next day or it could be a month so she has time to plan but either way they were getting married. She of course chooses the month. Evan follows her everywhere in his free time or has somebody else follow her. He shows her the house that he has built for them. And he semi proposes at the house. Essentially telling her again that she will marry him. He has given her so many pieces of jewelry with his initials all over it. But it’s all permanent jewelry that she can’t take off. She mentions a few times what if she wants him to wear jewelry and he tells her he has a matching collar for himself when she’s ready.
This whole time they are banging clearly there’s no protection and he starts to mention br€€ding. Sammy, of course thinks it’s just a schmink. Sammy has it out with her mom at her dress fitting, her mom tries to make her a good southern bell just like her. But Sammy finally stands up for herself and tells her this is what she wants and her mom needs to be happy for her. They seem to be able to move on after that. They have the wedding and then Evan makes her go to a “physical “to get on his insurance. She learns that she is pregn@nt and says he’s ruined everything.
Evan is confused at first, but Sammy keeps saying that he’s ruined everything they were supposed to have time for themselves. She’s only 19. Sammy finally confesses that all of this was orchestrated to get him to admit his feelings and be with her. Right before Sammy left for the summer her and Starling came up with a plan For her to make him jealous enough to do what he wanted/needed to do to get her. The only thing she didn’t plan for was getting pregn@nt so early.
Evan is upset/mad at first. Like he has ANY right to be. And LEAVES, he goes for a drive and goes so long he doesn’t know where he is, so he just pulls over and sits.
Their friends go to their house and Sebastian tells Sammy Evan put 3 trackers in her and Sammy tells Sebastian to activate Evan’s. Evan doesn’t get to act the way he did and then leave.
Sammy goes to where Evan still sits on the side of the road and they both get over it.
They have a little boy, Onyx Evan Morris!!!!

Well, I wasn't expecting that twist.

I knew Sammy (FMC) would be crazy wild, but from start to the middle she was in her 'behaved' state. Her actual craziness didn't show until towards the end of the story when it was revealed that she and Starling planned everything! I didn't anticipate that twist and never would've thought that they would do that. All this time she was actually claiming Evan as hers.

I was laughing when Evan (MMC) knew he got played at his own game! Albeit he still got the upper hand with the birth control tampering, breeding, and whatnot, it was so satisfying that one of the guys was manipulated and too bad for Evan it was him. His character was so intense and terrifying to me because he can resist Sammy's pleadings and that's one of his ways of controlling her. As a reader, he's got me on a chokehold when he started to claim Sammy with chains/jewelry and started the plan to get Sammy pregnant because I never would've thought he would do that because I thought the four of them guys plan to have babies at the same time in a few years. But I guess Evan had to advance as that's his way of knotting Sammy to him officially. Also, I thought Sammy was the one who would run after finding out she was pregnant just like what the other girls did but nah uh, I was wrong... it was Evan who ran and being a little bitch because he got played–serves him right motherfucker! Now he really knows what Starling, January, and Bunny felt all those times with their whole drama/situation with the other guys.

I'm giving this 4.5 stars because the story started out pretty good and interesting, but just fine in the middle when they got together and most of it was just them banging like there's no tomorrow (sex scenes were so hot especially the dirty talking); I was still gagged in the end with the revelations though. This book is just as crazy as the previous ones, but a bit more fucked up for me because both MCs crossed lines they won't be able to go back and they're absolutely not remorseful of any of it. Evan and Sammy are definitely crazy perfect for each other.

Overall, what a way to end the series! Or maybe not actually the end since the author said there's one more book she's going to release before this series officially ends, and I'm looking forward to it! I'm hoping we get to see all the couples with their kids years later and the guys are still OTT obsessive, possessive, manipulative, and everything crazy with their wives. One thing that I really like in this series is how the men take care of their wives such as bathing them, clothing them, feeding them, clinging to them, and other small sweet acts that somehow compensates their psychotic acts.

If you're looking for something psychotic and OTT j/p/o with lots of manipulation to get the love of their life, I would definitely recommend this series and the author Gemma Weir.

WHAT.A.PLOT.TWIST❤️

I'm just not going to say that this is the best book in the series because i love bastian too much 🫶🏾
buuuut MY MAN Evan and MY GIRL Sammy have ended my world. Finally an FMC who doesn't run away and just cry in corners and is proud of her obsession! The other FMCs tired me out, honestly, especially Starling who acts like the love between her and Bastian is one-sided
Normally I looove a virgin FMC -because the spicy scenes are WAY TOO INTENSE and it’s almost like you’re inside the book living it and I love that!😂-But for the first time I didn't care because Sammy was so perfect that it was just a detail because she was so obsessed with Evan and I LOVED IT
What I always want in a dark romance is an FMC who doesn't just stand there and seem to be "forced" to love the MMC and Sammy WAS NOT IT!
for me, this book was perfect, seriously, I wish it hadn't ended and I have a feeling this series still has more plot to come!
after the last two books, Sammy seemed more like a secondary character (and honestly she didn't seem to be interested in Evan because she was always kissing other guys and not giving him any attention ) so I resisted reading this book but I'M SO GLAD I DIDN'T!

As I don't know what to expect next, I'd really like a second book about Starling and Bastian, I feel that their story isn't over and that Bastian deserves a better ending (he'll always be my baby❤️) and as much as I think Starling doesn't deserve him (ironically a person like Sammy deserves him much more than Starling), I'd like her to really realise that she can't live without Bastian and stop threatening to run away... I know it would be impossible, but he's the one who should run away this time, I feel sorry for Bastian who hasn't slept for fear of losing his little bird🥲
ANYWAY... in this house we STAN Bastian,Evan and Samantha
p.s: my opinion of Bastian is not based on reality, but on "fictional reality"... I love love love him for being a villain, but I'm kinda tired of Starling always repeating about her past, and how traumatised she is and then always projecting herself onto the other FMC. That's why I loved Samantha, she OWNS her obsessed side, whereas Sterling seems to just go along with the ride 🧍🏾‍♀️
WISHING AND DREAMING for more books with obsessive and manipulative FMC’s that put their men in a gilded cage ❤️

Wow! If you have enjoyed the other three books in this series, you know the lengths these guys will go to, to ensure their chosen woman never leaves them. These books are full of twisted and vicious actions taken to ensure that there is no escape, and that all pathways lead back to them. And while this makes for quite a page-turner, I am glad this is all fantasy because, Holy Cow! What happens to Sammy isn’t at all okay in real life! PLEASE understand, there is not a single thing holding these men back from securing their woman, and their unwavering dedication to total possession is at times really intense. They are driven by a sociopathic desire for control, exhibiting ruthlessness, vengefulness, and cruelty.

Clay, Hunter, and Evan assisted Sebastian in his relentless pursuit of Starling, ensuring her confinement within their unforgiving relationship from the series’ outset. Because he was Starling’s stepbrother, he felt overwhelmingly guilty about their actions and their impact on her life. Something he thought he’d carry forever, until Starling begged for his help, bringing Sammy back from her life in D.C.. However, the story takes a dramatic turn, filled with unexpected twists and turns that kept me engaged until the very end. I thought I knew the HEA, but I didn’t!! Sooo good!!

While Evan’s actions towards Sammy were inappropriate in real life, I appreciated the imaginative methods he used to connect with her, physically and metaphorically. Their energy is incredibly intense and electrifying, practically leaping off the page!

The four men have found partners, leaving the series’ continuation unclear, yet the author assures us there’s more in store. I’m eager to see what the future holds for these characters.

Oh how I loved the twist in this book!!! This is the 4th book in Gemma's Alphahole series. While I think you could read this without reading the others, I highly highly recommend reading them in order. There will be some major spoilers for the other books and having read the other 3 will 100% make this one hit different.
Now back to Oblivion, I have wanted Sammy and Evan together since Obsession. I loved her attitude and fire and wondered how an alphahole story in this series would play out with a character who already knew all about the psycho ways of the guys. Oh did Gemma deliver. I thought this was going to go pretty similarly to the other 3 books and it was until the plot twist. The plot twist that was so good and perfect for this story and these 2 characters that I didn't see coming but SHOULD have seen coming lol. If you have followed these characters from the beginning of Obsession I promise this book will not disappoint and is the perfect ending for these 4 friends.
Be forewarned to anyone going into this book not having read the others, this is not a sappy sweet love story with sickenly sweet characters. These are morally gray characters who do many questionable things not acceptable in the real world. However between these pages is not the real world so read, enjoy, and welcome to the psycho club

The final book in the series (or let’s hope not) went out with a serious bang of pure Gemma Weir crazy and I loved every second!
Evan and Sammy the pair we have been waiting for, hoping they’d end up together eventually and it was worth the wait. They were made for each other in every way.
If you like crazy (bordering on psychotic) alpha men who love their women HARD, then Evan may be the leader of them all. He does so many crazy things to get his girl that I had to question my own sanity because I was screaming yes every time he added to the list, including sedating her, planting a tracker into her skin and removing her birth control without her consent or knowledge. I didn’t think these men could do anything more but Evan really took it to the next level.
As always Gemma brings ultimate spice that turns me into a feral animal when I read her books. I love how Gemma explores different kinks in her books and Sammy and Evan were no exception with a breeding kink, which I kinda loved for them.

I think the reason I love this series so much is these men love their women so unapologetically hard, that nothing will stand in their way of claiming them because they irrevocably know that they’re meant to be together. They take the crazy road to get there but deep down it’s pure love and it’s kinda beautiful (maybe that makes me a little crazy but I love it)
