Matilda Clark is left alone while her husband Noah travels to an appointment in the South of
England. When the heaviest rain the world has ever known begins, the same storm renders
anything electrical useless.
On the cusp of agoraphobia, the anxiety riddled Matilda lives in fear that her husband may
not be able to make it the three-hundred miles back to her, especially when she is forced to
fight for her life, realising it isn’t just humans she needs to fear.
When the rain starts, the horror begins.
Dark Deluge is an epistolary tale of outright terror as Matilda fights to stay alive long enough
to be reunited with the love of her life.

Another fantastic book by a brilliant author , a nice creepy tale of a womans struggles as she tries to fend for herself during a great storm where supernatural creatures begin to attack humanity , this book has a brother called Noah , it’s Matilda’s husband and it’s all about him trying to get home to her , these can be read singly or together , I’d recommend doing both as there’s a different dynamic both ways

Poor, fragile Matilda is already terrified of the world due to her past, and now the rain has come. With husband and protector Noah 200 miles away, no transport and no power, can Matilda hold it together long enough to see him again? The rain is bad enough but what else has blown in with the storm?
Dark Deluge Matilda is a bleak glimpse into one woman’s fight against demons, both physical and metaphorical.

This book was so gripping and terrifying, being so sleep deprived and feeling alone while her husband isnt there to keep herself sane she writes entries in her diary wishing for the day Noah will return.

seeing things and believing there not there but what if they are real and what if what your seeing is looking right at you!?

the authors create an anticipation where matilda is praying her husband will come home but until then she will have to survive on her own. could you imagine being cut off from everyone and the rain beating down so heavy going outside is unbearable... if you were ever in her shoes you would be terrifed...

this book hits some dark corners so read with caution but it paints such a detailed image of what she goes through everyday! i loved this book! and couldnt put it down
