Marriage of Opposites

Rate this book
I flew to Colorado to escape my cheating ex.
Now I might have to marry a cowboy to save everything my family built.

I came to finalize a business deal and recover from a broken engagement. Instead, I ran into Colt Chandler—the grumpy cowboy from my childhood summers. We’ve never gotten along, and now, thanks to a hidden clause in our fathers’ merger, we’re expected to get married.

Married. As in vows, rings, and pretending we don’t hate each other long enough to save our family legacies.

But nothing goes according to plan.

Colt’s daughter steals my heart. The ranch starts to feel like home. And the man I once couldn’t stand? He makes me laugh, challenges me, and looks at me like I might be worth the risk.

Just when I’m ready to stay… my ex shows up, begging for another chance. Colt sees us, and the fragile trust between us crumbles.

Now the ranch, the merger, and my heart are on the line.

This book was so hard to get through. The writing itself was ok but the actual physical structure of the book was in shambles. I don’t know if something happened converting the format over from whatever it was originally into a pdf, but every sentence, and I do mean basically every sentence in the book has words smashed together without spaces. There were also a few misspellings throughout. It also didn’t really reach a conclusion, east in my mind, about all the things going wrong at the ranch. Ok…..so they knew Franklin was trying to get the ranch from them through sneaky and devious ways but what about who ran her off the road? Who cut the fences and stole the cattle? What about all the shell companies? Just too many unanswered questions.

I basically liked the story, but it was very confusing to read. There were so many spots throughout where there were no spaces between words, which made it hard to read. The story line was good and the characters were interesting.
