Emily Northwood hates her life - and the fact that she cannot seem to find the man of her dreams. Frustrated by Emily’s lack of direction, her mother packs her off to stay in Llandudno, Wales, for the summer.
Aunt Cleo’s house is halfway up The Great Orme mountain and offers a sanctuary for Emily to sort her life out. Her daydreams of lazing around are soon shattered, however, when she has to help out in her aunt’s dating agency, A Match Made In Heaven.
After realising that the agency is failing Emily is determined to reinvent and make it a success. Her ambitious plan is threatened by the troublesome staff members and the presence of an enticing, distracting handyman. Working at the dating agency means scatterbrained Emily’s matchmaking skills are put to the ultimate test - with hilarious consequences.
Charming and full of heart, Julia Sutton's A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN is a feel-good romantic escape set in picturesque Wales.

Loved this book so much! Such a heartwarming story. I was so invested in Emily’s story and the journey of finding herself. All the characters in the book were so interesting and loveable especially Aunt Cleo! I loved the setting of Llandudno, it put me in a really summery mood and really made me feel like I was there. It also made me wish I was on holiday! I found that I couldn’t put the book down and even when I wasn’t reading I was thinking about how the story will play out! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a heartwarming story!
This was such a fun read! A Match Made in Heaven by Julia Sutton! Uni dropout Emily Northwood is sent to Llandudno by her mother to stay with her aunt Cleo. Her aunt’s matchmaking business is failing, can Emily help turn the business around aswell as her own life? She will certainly try and with a little help from a local heartthrob, she can’t go wrong! I adored Emily’s character. She’s fun and carefree and totally clumsy! I laughed on more than one occasion. The setting is glorious and although I’ve never visited Llandudno, I absolutely want to now! The writing is engaging and I felt like I was there with the characters.
What a lovely, fun read! If you want to be instantly transported to a summer in Llandudno without even leaving your home, then ‘A Match Made in Heaven’ will deliver you to its doorstep.
I loved Julia Sutton’s latest. Emily was fun to root for and her mishaps/accidents were comedic. The character who stole the show for me was Aunt Cleo. What an interesting character. Her mannerisms and the things she said made me chuckle on many occasions.
I've read many books by Julia Sutton and this is my favourite. Emily moves to Wales and rebuilds her aunt's business, A Match Made in Heaven. Then she meets the mysterious Bryn and sparks fly. Love the characters, humour, story and setting.
