From a historic and holistic viewpoint, Gandhi’s autobiography does what it set out to do: examine the human and his relationship to god and the truth. For this alone, it serves as an amazing historic and human perspective of a person who was great as a media presence but incredibly human from a personal one. I enjoyed how relatable this autobiography makes him out to be.
Lot of gems scattered about what was mostly one guy defending vegetarianism and alternative medicine. After reading this I find it really ironic that the world's largest statue is dedicated to a man who nearly died many times riding the lowest level coach travel because he viewed anything more as un-humble.
