The REAL Benghazi Story: What the White House and Hillary Don't Want You to Know

Rate this book
Bigger than Watergate! Bigger than Iran-Contra! Ten times bigger than both, said one representative. The Bengahzi scandal may have been covered up by the White House, but the truth is about to come out. The Real Benghazi Story  is a ground-breaking investigative work that finally exposes some of the most significant issues related to the murderous September 11, 2012, attack-information with current national security implications.
Investigative journalist and  New York Times  best-selling author Aaron Klein provides the answers many have longed for from the secretive activities transpiring inside the doomed facility to shocking new details about the withholding of critical protection at the U.S. special mission. Learn about what really happened to Ambassador Chris Stevens that fated night, the central role Hillary Clinton actually played in the scandal, and more!
Also answered for the first time is why the State Department hired armed members of the al-Qaeda-linked February 17 Martyrs Brigade to protect the facility. New reasons are revealed for not sending air support or Special Forces during the assault, while extensively probing not only jihadist groups but also possible state actors behind the attack. These are just some of the new details to be revealed in this game-changing book.

A horrendous piece of reporting. This book repeatedly cites sources that would be unacceptable in a high school class. The analytical value is near zero as Klein takes legitimate questions and issues and then theorizes about the how's and why's with essentially no supporting evidence. The number of times "may" was used in this book just confirms its worthlessness as a probe into Benghazi. Where he promises a damning indictment of Clinton and the Obama White House he offers theories, speculations, and inflammatory language like "outrageous" and "egregious." Why not raise the questions and let the work speak for itself? A waste of an afternoon.

This book is worth reading to truly understand the nefarious underbelly of the Obama regime during Clinton's tenure as SOS. Read this book if you are thinking of voting for the lying, sneaky, war monger Hillary Clinton.

🎧 Audiobook Review: The Real Benghazi Story by Aaron Klein
⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 stars)

If you're brand new to the events of Benghazi and are looking for a clear, objective overview of what happened on September 11, 2012, this probably isn't the best place to start. While Aaron Klein promises a bombshell exposé—“bigger than Watergate!”—what you get instead is a heavy, often disorganized mix of speculations, theories, and inflammatory rhetoric.

Klein attempts to uncover the truth behind the deadly attack on the U.S. Special Mission in Benghazi, including the mysterious circumstances around Ambassador Chris Stevens’ death, why the facility lacked protection, and what role Hillary Clinton and the Obama White House allegedly played in the cover-up. The book poses some tough questions—like why the State Department hired a militia with al-Qaeda links to guard the compound—and it’s clear the author is passionate about his investigation.

However, the audiobook expects listeners to already have a solid foundation of the Benghazi timeline, players, and controversies. As a first introduction, it’s overwhelming and chaotic, with too many names, references, and promises of “more later” that never feel fully resolved. At times, it reads like a partisan sledgehammer rather than a grounded investigation.

While I do believe there were failings in how the State Department handled the situation, the book’s tone and structure make it hard to take seriously. It often veers into conspiracy territory and lacks the polish needed to bring all the moving parts together in a coherent, persuasive way.

If you're looking for a more balanced and accessible account, you might want to explore other titles first before circling back to this one.

A world full of corruption and lies. Things that were said are in black and white. People need to understand who they would are voting for especially Hillary. This tells a great story about Benghazi.

Talk about food for thought.
Book explained the movie; but the additional data is so controversial. That being said, for a non-fiction book this was done well,
