Leah Campbell and Asher Sky are two fractured souls.
Each carry painful scars of a past they can't make peace with. When an accident causes their paths to intertwine, they are given a chance to start over. Together they must find the one thing that is stronger than any fear ~ hope.
They need hope, without it they will remain broken.
This isn't your typical love story of girl-meets-boy, love at first sight. It's about healing, hope, and finding the ultimate strength that comes from within ~ pushing forward to become fearless.
Misha Elliott is a nomadic soul, living all over the US with her Scottish husband. During their travels she fell in love with the written word and put her hands to the keyboard to romanticize her journeys. When not writing you can find her at Scottish Highland games (she's there for the men in kilts) or at the beach...as long as It's not hurricane season.
I received a copy of fearless from the author and asked to leave an honest review. I have to say that I have been reading alot over the last year and I have never had a book leave a mark, until I read Fearless. I loved this story from the get go. I love how the author made you really feel the fear that Leah had to carry around with her. You really got a sense of who Leah was and why she had so much fear. My favorite part about fearless was the fact that the female character Leah was so afraid of living, loving, breathing and she was strong and she overcame that fear. She found a strong friendship and a true one of a kind love with the male character Asher who has a past and issues of his own to overcome. Asher is well, you'll have to buy fearless so you can read more about Asher and Leah yourself. You won't regret buying this book. Great job Misha Elliott !!!!
*I was given a copy of this book as a gift from Stephanie's Book Reports in exchange for an honest review.
4 stars for Fearless by Misha Elliott.
Asher Sky and Leah Campbell are both broken people. They are each haunted by their pasts, and it seems that no matter how hard they try to escape the memories that haunt them, they remain trapped. They each long for peace, and they each have just about giving up on ever finding happiness again.
Fate intervenes allowing Asher's and Leah's paths to connect. They each know that the only way to regain their happiness is to overcome their fears. Can they find the hope and the strength that they need in order to rebuild their lives, or are they doomed to a life of pain and misery?
I enjoyed this story line, and I thought that the characters were very well developed. I really loved the fact that even though they each has been dealt a bad hand in life, they never gave up. Their strength and determination was quite inspiring. I would certainly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a quick and enjoyable read.
Sweet story. Domestic violence is such a traumatic and draining tragedy for couples and their entire families. How or why it happens a mystery, we all make choices. Praying for all who suffer. Please get away.
