Tyler kissed me with all the expert skill of a man who’d done it thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands, of times, but he made me feel like I was the only woman he’d ever wanted to kiss, now or ever. His mouth made so many promises, I couldn’t keep track of them all.

TROUBLE ~ Amazon Top 100 Bestselling Series ~ FROM NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR EMME ROLLINS
-----
When your best friend falls in love with a rock star, you either join her in her fixation, or you spend a lot of nights eating ice cream and watching Netflix by yourself. If you can’t beat them, join them, isn’t that what they say?

While Bree—my best friend since forever—couldn’t get enough of “Trouble” and their lead singer, Rob Burns, I set my sights a little lower – and to the left. Rob’s immediate left, that is, at least on stage. Tyler Cook was Trouble’s lead guitarist, a tall, glorious, dark blonde, beautiful specimen of a man who could make ovaries explode and panties drop with just one twist of that smirky smile of his.

Of course, it was all just in good fun, two girls going to Trouble concerts and screaming ourselves hoarse along with the rest of the fans. Bree’s fascination with Rob, and mine with Tyler, was a fun little fantasy, a distraction from our boring everyday lives, mine as a dental hygienist and Bree’s as an elementary school music teacher, until one day the “what-if” game Bree liked to play—and in, “what if we met Trouble some day?” and “What if they asked us to go on tour with them?”—actually happened.

Actually. Happened.

One minute we were going to see Trouble in concert, and the next, we were backstage, face-to-face with the real-live, sexy thing. I never expected to meet rock god Tyler Cook. I never expected to end up on a tour bus with sex god Tyler Cook. I certainly never expected to fall in love with the man, that beautiful, broken, wild man, or become so hooked I simply couldn’t give him up—no matter what it cost, or who I hurt, even myself.

Because sometimes you have to stop asking yourself, “What if?”

Sometimes you have to find out what happens next...

Simply crazy!

This is the first book in the series I've read (didn't realize it's book 4) It was good for the most part. I loved the banter & double innuendos. Very funny at times. HOT sexy scenes. Great chemistry. That's what got it the 3 stars.

The other two stars weren't given for a couple reasons. Parts were repeated which at times got confusing. I would stop & re-read to make sure I didn't skip a page or if it was still the same scene. Example.... they were laying belly to sweaty belly, some dialogue & touches, then "he pulled me so we were belly sweaty belly." The other reason was the last quarter of the book got a little too serious or heavy, you can say. Drug use is fine in books I read, although it's usually pills, weed, or cocaine. Rarely heroin. Descriptions of how, where and why of it very detailed. But it took over the whole story in a way. There's not the best HAE either. It falls too close to the end & doesn't give us much. Yes there's gonna be a book 2 but if they are still messed up on heroin or again, not sure if ill read it. But that's only my opinion & my reading likes & dislikes.

I was given this book by the author for an honest review. I love this series and was a little scared to read Tyler and Katie's story because I didn't really care for Tyler's character in Rob and Sabrina's first 2 books. Now with that said I think I want to wrap Tyler up and loved him forever, he was bounced from foster home to foster home, was diagnosed with RA at 15 and is a drug addict who made me melt!! He knocked Katie off of her feet from the minute they met and never let go. After spending 2 perfect days together Tyler asked Katie to go on tour with him and she left her old life behind and went. We get to watch them fall in love and down the rabbit hole of addiction together. I am so glad I gave this a chance and can not wait to read the next book. Thanks for letting me read another great book from Emme Rollins!

4.5 Stars!!!

This is the fourth book in the Trouble Series by Emme Rollins. I’m always a little nervous to pick up a book mid-series when I haven’t read the ones that come before it. So why do I do it -- you ask-- well, sometimes I read the description and decide I can’t wait and other times an opportunity presents itself and I can’t say no. This was actually both -- so I jumped at the chance! I was generously gifted a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Ok, so it’s no secret I’m a sucker for books about music and rockers so needless to say I was pretty excited to read this book. Let me just say this book totally delivered! I think the author did a great job of giving enough information about the characters from the previous books so I wasn’t completely lost but not so much that I completely ruined it for myself with the other books. Now, there are some spoilers that were unavoidable so if you have more self control than I do and can start with book 1… Do it!

This story had everything I wanted -- a sexy rock star in Tyler Cook, Trouble’s lead guitarist, his kick-ass love interest Katie and a storyline that kind of surprised me with how intense it got.

“Alice fell down the rabbit hole. Me, I jumped.”

That was one of my favorite lines in the book because I think it perfectly sums up Katie in every sense. I loved her self-deprecating humor but the interactions she had with Tyler were the best! She really gave him a run for his money. The beginning of the book is pretty funny and the sexy-time is plentiful! Thank you Emme Rollins! The second half is what was surprising. Not so much the story line itself but the drama and intensity that came with it. I loved it! I only wish there was more of it because I just got so into it!!!

Now, I can’t wait to read the next book in the series but... first I’m going to go back and start with book 1. :P

This book puts the true meaning to "Sex, Drugs, & Rock -N- Roll". Katie goes through a whole lot of ups and then a whole lot of downs. Throughout this story she is just carefree and in love with Tyler but then she goes down hill pretty fast and learns a lot about who she really is. Tyler is the lead guitarist of a band and is not quite sure what he wants in life until he literally runs into Katie. He starts falling for her but wants to fight it every step of the way. His choices lead him farther down a dark path and then he gets a life altering enlightenment.Katie and Tyler are truly meant for each other. Emme Rollins really brought these characters out and captured my heart.

This is a drawn out slow read but well worth it. I laughed and cried.

I received this book for an honest review.

This story has left me with so many mixed feelings. I’d seen parts of Katie and Tyler’s romance while reading Rob and Sabrina’s, so I knew that I wanted to see the rest of the story. As individuals, I love both Katie and Tyler. He’s such a cocky, tragic mess. And her fierce and spunky attitude hides an equally broken heart. I love the two of them together. Katie has some amazing snarky banter in this book that I will cherish for years; such as “Maybe you can eat some of that makeup you’re wearing. Then you can try to be pretty on the inside too.” I’m just not enamored with the way their drug problems are portrayed in this book. Addiction has taken people from my life. And knowing how important this aspect of their relationship is to the story, it felt slightly unrealistic and romanticized here. I though Rob and Sabrina’s stories painted the addictions in a more accurate light. Maybe, because this has such a personal connection for me, it means that I’m not quite the right audience for this particular book.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.

Spoilers as well as Curse Language bellow.

description

In this books the main characters, have one of those relationships. Like the ones you know for fact are unhealthy and addicting. Bad for each other, yet you can't stop wanting them, dreaming about them and in wrong, wrong way loving them.

This book made me emotional, there were a few ups amd many downs. Even though, it wasn't dark in a traditional way, there were these moments. It made angry (many times) and sad, very sad.

This book is dealing with drugs (heavy drugs) and fucked up situations. However, it's light in the beginning, and as a result I wasn't expecting to take that turn.

But first things first.

The heroine is heading to a concert of a band named 'Trouble'. There she meets the hero (a member of the band), it's complete coincidence and they hit it right off. He takes her to his hotel room, and have sex. But that's not the disturbing part. What really bugs me, is that they smoke weed before.

I'm familiar with the fact that many people do it, and it's not a big deal for many. With that being said, for me it's a no-no. I understand you can't make choices for others, but you can make choices for yourself. I expected her to say, "If the weed is in, I'm out." or at least "No thank you, not my thing." The heroine is not bothered by it, and actually likes it...

description

In the beginning she appears as a goofy character, extremely unlucky in a sort of funny way. At a point, she reminded me my best friend. Without a joke, like the heroine, she does believe in the power of believing and deems it's magical. No kidding, she actually does. 'Believing is magical (my best friend claims with enthusiasm), it's like glitter!'

description

And the reason why good things don't happen to me?

"You don't believe in miracles."

And how I feel about the believing magical thing?

description

Exactly. But I couldn't help but feel connected to the main character, due to reminding my best friend.

To get back to my main point, drugs are unacceptable, but that wasn't why I was ticked off. It was that I wasn't prepared for that, I wasn't aware this was going to happen, I thought this story it's going to be an easy going romance with a couple of misfortunes. I was mistaking.

Then, the drug problem didn't end there, it wasn't just weed anymore. It was heroin. Heroin, that the heroine, not only didn't stop him from getting, not only gave it to him and accepted he is going to take it, but took as well. They were giving each other heroin injections. Do you understand this?

I'm not going to pretend, I'm perfect. I have hit lows. Many of them. I have given up in the past. Yes, sure. But I would like to believe for myself, that I would never encourage someone to take drugs especially someone I claim, I love. I would rather have it all myself, die from overdose, than suggest the person that I love to take the smallest amount. Somethings once you do, you can't take back. You can't forget how it felt, you can't erase that you will think about it when you are not feeling well, you can't delete it from your past. You can't.

If anyone, that does light drugs, reads this know that you shouldn't do this. Remember the above, and forget drugs. You are better that this, and you know it. Don't.

I will admit though, that they were both fucked up. The heroine had no bright future, she was always whatever, she lacked love and she really wanted it. The hero had done drugs in the past, and when things got too much he gave up and gave in to what it would made him feel better for the moment and kill him slowly later.

Sometimes you want to die. I get it. I was so depressed when this happened... It's not the answer.

They got clean but I wasn't sure, it was love. How can you tell? I wasn't convinced. They were two fucked up people that wanted to believe they loved each other. That's what I think, especially considering how fast the fell for each other. The second day? I don't know, too messed up for me to get it completely. And him proposing to her after they got clean proves exactly that. He didn't want to lose what he thought he had, he wanted to keep the fantasy, while other people would have been broken. They gave each other heroin, they were sky high. Were is the real regret here? The guilt? The truth that they aren't a good combination?

As for the writing style, it wasn't bad, but sometimes you would see for paages and paaages the heroine repeating herself over and over again. Make the damn book smaller but keep it interesting. Don't make me bored with saying again and again the same thing.

Other than that, it wasn't what I thought it would be, but it wan't bad. It had these intense moments. When the heroin started, I was an emotional mess.

Also, (I forgot to mention) he was spending money on her, and I did not, not, like it all. When she traveled with him, the expenses were on him. What the fuck? No way. I didn't like one bit, she was too okay with it.

Overall, I'm sure I'm going to continue reading this. A good book, but be warned, it's not all lovey-dovey.

A chance encounter caused two men and women to find each other.
One couple took the band's tour, finding about each other and themselves, as the trip progressed.
The other couple did a long distance relationship, which held some pitfalls of itself.
Both couples had trials, but seem to come through stronger in the end.
Loved the narrators' vocalizations of the various characters.

Katie and her best friend Sabrina are rushing to get to the concert of their favorite band Trouble on time. They are running late and in their hurry they literally run right into the lead singer Rob and the guitarist Tyler, when they are hit in the head by a door and injured. Katie and Sabrina are trying to get the door opened while Rob and Tyler are coming out of the door, but regardless of injury this meeting is a dream come true for both of them. While Sabrina has always had a crush on Rob, Katie has always wanted Tyler. This is their story.

Katie has always felt like she was the black sheep of her family. She never felt like she fit in with them. She felt like the screw up surrounded by her perfect brother who could do no wrong in her mother's eyes. Her father was never around so she never felt like she had anybody. She always tried to do what was expected of her to make her mother happy even if she was miserable in the process. That is until she meets Tyler. He changes everything for her. He makes her feel loved, wanted, needed, and accepted just the way she is, in a way that no one else has ever been able to do.

Tyler is your typical bad boy of the band. He even admits to his manwhore behavior. He is taken immediately by Katie's quick wit and smart mouth. She is different from all the groupie girls in his life. She doesn't fawn all over him and hang on his every word. Katie thinks she will at least get one night of passion with the man of her dreams out of the situation. She thinks she will be just be another girl added to his list, but she feels lucky enough to be there for now, so she is determined to enjoy the moment no matter how long or short their time together may be. Katie changes everything for Tyler as well. He never expected to want her, to need her, to love her so much. She completely changed him from his manwhore behavior, because she is the only girl he wants now.

Little do Katie or Tyler know just how quickly their relationship will develop from just one night to her going on tour with him and everything that entails. Life on the road is not the fantasy that everyone seems to think it is. This book deals with all of the ups and downs of the rock and roll lifestyle. You see the darker side of what addiction can do all too clearly and it is far from pretty. It is scary and dangerous. Katie loves Tyler so much that she becomes his enabler and almost loses herself in the process. It is heartbreaking to witness this because they want and need each other so much, they finally have the connection that they have been searching for so long, only to have that be threatened by addiction. You want them to be okay. You want them to pull through and have the happily ever after that they deserve, but will they? I hope so...

I received a gifted copy of this book for review from the author. Thank you Emme Rollins. It was a pleasure. I can't wait to see what the future holds for Katie and Tyler. I also look forward to going back and reading Sabrina and Rob's story as well. So if like me you haven't read the first three books yet, don't worry you can still enjoy Katie and Tyler's story without feeling you are missing something or feeling lost as to what is happening.

I was given Trouble Makers as an ARC book to read for an honest review. And honestly, this is a book that is a must read, especially if you are a rock romance fan. It must be if I read it in one day and couldn’t stop until I finished it at 2:00 a.m.!

In this book you follow Katie who has a fan crush on rock god Tyler Cook of the band Trouble. He may not be the lead vocalist of this band but he is the hot lead guitarist and Katie has dreamt about him forever. Little did she know that her dreams would come true but so wouldn’t her nightmares. She had convinced her best friend, Bree, to try to sneak into one of the back doors of the venue hoping to get closer to the guys in the band. You couldn’t get much closer than when they were pulling on an entrance door and they both got taken out when the door burst open and not only was Bree’s crush Rob Burns there but so was Tyler Cook.

Katie, with her sassy little mouth and good looks, got Tyler’s attention immediately. She knew she wasn’t a “special” girl to Tyler she just figured she was like the countless others that maybe turned his head for a night or if she was really lucky maybe 2. Katie couldn’t get enough of Tyler and she learned that Tyler couldn’t get enough of her either. One night lead to the next day and finally he asked her to go on the road with the band. Her dreams come true…or not.

Life on the road with a rock star was great at first. There wasn’t anything that she wouldn’t do for Tyler which included following Tyler down the road to heroin addiction. She couldn’t lose him and not because he was a rock star but because he was Tyler and he knew how to make Katie happy both in the bed and out. I did like to see that it was possible that this big sexy rock star could keep to one girl and not be willing to “share” her like he did with others who came along for the ride. This all sounded perfect except for one thing and that was the addiction that Tyler no longer wanted to fight. He not only didn’t want to fight it anymore he took Katie with him into the world of addiction.

Needless to say the next book in the story of Katie and Tyler can’t come out soon enough. Are they able to build off from their codependency and return to the time when they were in love and couldn’t get enough of one another? Especially since Tyler had to leave Katie after she just got out of drug rehab to go on a European tour with the band. Can Tyler stay clean when he heads back out on the road? And can they make their fragile long distance relationship work?

An ARC from the Author for an honest review.

I kind like this one. It felt real and honest. But mixed with wishful
thinking of dating a rock star. It's somewhat dark. But some how
someway you are still rooting for them to have if not perfect a good
HEA. Tyler has a sad past and the author didn't say but you tell it was
rough. Katie's past was somewhat like some kids with divorced parents.
But you tell she strong and she doesn't anything half way. Her
philosophy was to she either gonna sink or swim but she was going go
all in or die trying.
Okay

Title: TROUBLE MAKERS
Series: Trouble #4
Category /Genre: Contemporary Romance
Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual content
Received from: Emme Rollins (in exchange for an honest review)
Grammar/editing: A – near perfect

This is the fourth book in the Trouble series. I had not read any of the previous episodes and I can say with confidence it does stand on its own.

Katie and Bree have made a pact – they never go after the same guy. So when Bree has a fan crush on Rob Burns, lead singer of Trouble, Katie chooses a different guy in the band, Tyler Cook, lead guitarist. When “what if we actually met them,” becomes more than a game and Tyler invites Katie to travel on tour with them, Katie takes a chance on a dream. What she finds is the reality of touring – sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll is not just a t-shirt slogan! Do all dreams end in nightmares, or is there another way over the rainbow?

I love Katie, Bree, Tyler, and Rob….the whole team! Do not go into this thinking you know how all rock romances go. This one is different. What if instead of the good girl leading the bad boy into realizing that love makes everything better, the bad boy leads the good (or not so good) girl down the path to destruction? Tyler and Katie are made for each other. Neither sees themselves as the good person. They’re aims are for a life of fun and rock-n-roll music. Still, there are a lot of redeeming qualities in both of them that neither is ready to see in themselves, yet. On the other hand, they have amazing friends who believe in them and will tear down the ends of the earth to help them.

My only trouble is that I now want the previous three episodes in this series! This is the first book I have read from Emme Rollins. Please, dear Lord, don’t let it be my last!

Received an ARC for honest review

First, let me start by saying it was a surprise to be included in the ARC reviewers so I'm honored. My introduction to Emme Rollins was about 1 1/2 years ago with Dear Rockstar and then Lucky Girl.

I love stories with rockstars and all the various viewpoints and storylines to get the lead characters together. Emme's stories flow so well, and you become invested with the characters even when you may be scratching your head about their actions or motives and even when you want to throttle one of them.

All good authors are storytellers, visionaries, teachers and artists..Emme embodies all of these completely.

The main characters in this book, Katie and Tyler (hubba hubba) Cook, lead guitarist for the band Trouble are familiar to readers of the previous books as the best friends of Bree and Rob who take center stage in the previous Trouble books. It's like old home week, while you may not need to read the previous books, I think it will enhance the experience reading this.

Imagine you and your best friend crushing on band members only to meet, tour and fall in love with them? Ok, my girlfriend and I from way back in the day gushed over Duran Duran (no judging here ladies, it was way relevant in the 80s and I remain a staunch John Taylor fan as he was and is the best looking in the band). I think as women who probably still have those daydreams, it is nice to escape and wonder while living vicariously through books. While this also contains some more serious subject matter and darker points, it is a great read. It will have you cheering, jeering, shouting, ooh'g and aah'g, and spinning your head with a twist.

If you appreciate a great story and characters, then make some time to rock with this crew NOW or soon!

I received an ARC of this for an honest review and I enjoyed the book but felt as if pieces of the story were missing.
Sassy girl (Katie) meets bad boy rock God (Tyler) and gives him a run for his money. Definitely not your traditional love story as Prince Charming has a closet full of demons to overcome and the damsel in distress can fend for herself and comes with her own baggage. After spending a fairy tale night/next day together she makes the decision to join him on tour to see if he could really be her HEA. Enter those demons (heroin addiction) that take them on a spiral downward. Is there love enough to overcome these hurdles? Can they slay their demons together?
I really enjoyed the characters especially smart-mouthed Katie and the hot scenes were definitely scorching I just felt as though the booked jumped around a bit kind of like it had a fast forward button and rushed to the "big" scenes. I would have liked more smaller moments and to see the development of the characters and their relationships explored more. I see great potential with this story and hope that with the next book maybe the author can slow the pace down a bit even if it means extra books :-)
I will admit that when I started reading this I didn't realize it was the fourth book in the series revolving around this band. It can be read as a standalone but it makes sense why two characters that were supporting in this story (Rob and Sabrina) were portrayed with a certain amount of importance you don't normally see for supporting roles. And though this is not a cliffhanger this is definitely the start of Tyler and Katie's story and I'm intrigued enough to want to know more. I would recommend this book and look forward to see how the story continues to unfold.

Katie, Sabrina's BFF, has finally told her friend that she lost her job and her fiance about a month ago. She doesn't know what she is going to do, but for tonight they will get to see Trouble in concert. They are running a little late and Katie takes Sabrina to a different door that her dad says that they always leave a door unlocked. They climb the stairs and all the doors are locked, when suddenly the door flys open and hits both Katie and Sabrina, almost knocking Sabrina out cold. This is where they meet Rob and Tyler. Sabrina has always loved Rob, so to not fight over the lead singer, Katie chose Tyler to lust after. While things are great for the time they spend together, Katie is really surprised when Tyler ask her to come on tour with him. Why not? She doesn't have a job and even better a life. Life on the road is hard, long nights, shorter days because you sleep most of the day after the long nights. It is easy to see how someone gets hooked on drugs. You need them to help you sleep and then you need then to help keep you awake. When Katie finally decided that she has to get Tyler help, Rob sends her away as soon as she can pack. She doesn't want to talk to Tyler, it makes the recovery even harder. While Tyler and Katie are in different rehab centers, they are getting the help they need. Will Tyler still want her after rehab? Can Katie let him go if he doesn't want her? Will she survive without him? This story is part of the Trouble series. Emme Rollins has a way to tell a story about rock stars and I love each of them, So if you are looking for a great rock star series then this one is for you.

Loved this story. Katie and Sabrina are best friends and they have gotten front row seats to the Troubles' rock concert. They have been in love and number one fans of the band Trouble for years. Both h received ave huge crushes on two of the band members, Sabrina has the hots for Rob Burn the singer while Katie has the hots for the lead guitarist Tyler Cook. The night of the concert arrives and they are running late so they park Sabrinas' car in the back of the venue to try to save time getting in and climb the steps to try to get in one of the back doors but none of the doors are opening until all of a sudden two guys come out and the girls are hit by the door. When the girls finally become aware that it is Rob Burns and Tyler Cook who came out the back doors they can't believe their luck. After getting to talk to them both girls are dazzled and feel like they are in a dream and their dream continues as the girls are given back stage passes. This night is the beginning of a torid rockstar love affair full of steaming sex, drugs and the life of a rockstar on tour as Katie accepts Tylers' invitation to come on tour with them. But although the rock star life may be everything you can imagine there is also groupies, drugs and secrets.
Loved this book from the beginning the exhilirating passion and lifestyle of these rich rockstars as well as the steaming sex and tender moments as they fall in love. But also the real life ups and downs and the downward spiral of drugs. But does love survive after secrets and drugs you have got to read this story to find out. Beautifully written.

I was given Trouble Makers as an ARC book to read for an honest review.
This book is so, so good.
Through the story I run through all emotions possible. It was really funny, entertaining, sad, emotionaly, tragic, sexy ….

Katie and Bree are best friends. Both are fans of the band Troble, actually, Bree is fascinated with the lead singer Rob and Katie has a long term crush on lead guitarist Tyler and naturally, the unlike pair is attending a concert of their favorite Band.

The first part of the story is very funny. The two girls are literally crashing into Rob and Tyler and there the fun beginns. This book is mostly about the love story of Katie and Tyler.

As I wrote at first it's funny and romantic while the second part broke my heart. The second part of the book is tragic, heartwrenching and very sad becauce of Tyler's stupid decisions, his addiction and the fact that Katie is not strong enough for them both.

But in the end of the story there is happiness again, but no happy ending…jet. I cant't wait to read about this in ,probably, the next book.

I loved all the characters. Katie and Tyler are sharing their is funny, sarcastic and adventures way and they fall in love very fast and deep. Bree is a careful responsible girl and she finds her match in Rob.

I don't want to give any spoilers, so I'm not writing more about the content. I highly recommend this book for everyone who likes a good love story with a twist you are not expecting. I read it in one sitting. It sucked me in right in the beginning ans I could not put it down till the end.

This was a really great book and enjoyable read. Katie's father isn't really in her life but he does get her good tickets to see Trouble in concert. So she takes her best friend, Sabrina, with her to the concert and they try to get in upstairs at the concert hall and come face to face with Rob, the lead singer, and Tyler, the lead guitarist. So they end up getting back stage passes for after the concert. Sabrina hits it off with Rob and Katie hits it off with Tyler. Katie and Tyler have a whirlwind and in the end he asks her to go on tour with him and she accepts. But the road is tough and secrets are hard to hide.

Her father left her mother and moved across the county to start another family. He didn't really pay any attention to her anymore and only got her tickets to see Trouble every year because she annoyed him about it. Her mother wants her to be responsible and to find someone that will take care of her. She likes to be a bit of a rebel and do strange things. She's known to be someone that screws up a lot. She's head over hills for Tyler and she just wants to be with him. And she loves him enough to do the right thing for him.

Tyler is the lead guitarist in a famous band. He's quite talented. He has his secrets and he hides things. He's had trouble with drugs for years and hiding his pain. He gets Katie to keep his secrets but he also draws her into his world and pressures her into doing things she normally wouldn't.

Worth reading and looking forward to their next book.

I received an ARC for my honest review. However, knowing that it was book #4, I read the first three so that I would know what was going on in book #4. Boy, am I glad I did. Not only did it make the book so much better, I just fell in love with the series from the first book. I believe that you can read this book without reading the first three, but I am all about "the whole story" and think that it would just be more enjoyable having read the others.

I like how the characters are developed and the chemistry between them. I felt really bad for some of the situations in the book, but no way was it a deterrent. In fact, I did read the book all in one sitting as I couldn't wait to hear the whole story. You know part of the story from the book before but this is more in-depth.

It is a classic rock star infatuation that evolves into a relationship. The relationship continues as Katie follows Tyler on the road. This leads into drug addiction and all that it entails. This does not have a cliffhanger, however, you do know that there is more to this story and therefore, I am anxiously awaiting the next book!

Katie has always somewhat gotten in trouble. If she doesn't find it, then trouble finds her.

When Katie and Bree decided that fateful night to go to a concert by their favorite rock band Trouble (of course this name) neither one of them knew their entire lives would change. All they wanted was to sneak in backstage. They had front row seats, now all they needed was to find the correct backstage door that was open. What they found was Rob Burns the front man of the band and Tyler Cook the lead guitarist. So begins the love affair between Tyler and Katie.

When you mix the bad boy of the band with the girl that cannot miss getting in trouble, you have this energetic, adventurous and erotic blast to make a turbulent story. Sex, drugs and rock 'n roll, baby! But wait... what happens if they really fall in love? What if they actually bond and share their deepest secrets and find they must cling to each other for strength? Disaster! This is a recipe for enabling each other and losing control.

I was riveted to this sensual story of two lost souls who bond and care for each other. Both characters grow and mature during this story and come to the realization of what they must do on their own if they hope for a future. Whether this future is together or apart is to be determined... In the meantime, the romance is off the charts and their banter will put a smile on your face!

This is the first Trouble book I've had the pleasure of reading. It is easily read as a stand alone. I will, however, be going back and reading the others. This is the story of Katie and Tyler. The book starts with the perfect scenario for every girl - best friends crushing on different members of the same band, a chance meeting, and the men falling for them as well. Thankfully, that's where the cliches end and the twists and turns start. This book is a roller coaster ride that I couldn't put down. What happens when two damaged people get together and fall for each other? Well, Tyler asks Katie to go on tour, of course...and she goes because she has nothing to stay home for. We learn that touring is not nearly as glamorous as we may think it is and ANYTHING is available with a phone call. We learn about the people beneath the personas. Insecurities are exposed, inner demons revealed, secrets are shared and kept confidential, and both Katie and Tyler fall to the bottom of the rabbit hole. There is both saving and sacrificing. This book is nowhere near predictable, and I am grateful! The ending is completely unexpected, but perfect for the characters' growth as individuals as well as a couple.
Emme took their story in a direction I could never have seen coming. Her writing pulls you in and makes you feel like you are living the tale that was penned. I would recommend this book to anyone who reads!

Awesome, But Not Your Typical Rocker Romance!
This was an awesome book! This is book four in the Trouble Series by Emme Rollins. This book can be read as a standalone since each book has their own stories. Katie and Bree are best friends and they have been in love with the famous rock band since the beginning. Katie’s dad gets them front row tickets to see Trouble every year. This year while trying to get in the building Trouble’s lead singer Rob and the lead guitarist get lost and end up locked outside with Katie and Bree. The girls get hurt with the door but they don’t care since they are finally up close and personal with the men of their dreams. They end up getting back stage passes and each get a night with their dream men an offer neither of them can refuse. Tyler and Rob end up asking Katie and Bree to go on the road with them, but only Katie agrees since she doesn’t have a job. The author does a wonderful job with this story, she just doesn’t set the stage of just your typical romance, but she brings in the facts of what a true rock romance is, the sex, drug, and rock and roll. The author leads us down the not so glorious path of destruction of drugs in Katie and Tyler’s relationship. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series, I hope she bring us back to Katie, and Bree’s relationship in the future.

Not a typical rock star romance. Intriguing characters dealing with some real issues. The true history and backgrounds of the main characters evolve into a romantic suspense story and the surprises keep coming in each book. This book, Trouble in Paradise and Trouble Rising focus on Tyler and Katie and parallel the first three books in the series (Meeting Trouble, Following Trouble and Making Trouble). This book deals with drug addiction and life on the road. At times, it is heartbreaking to read. Where Rob & Sabrina are the serious & responsible characters, Tyler and Katie are irresponsible and supposedly carefree. But love conquers all in the end.

Each of the stories in the Trouble series build on each other. To get the most enjoyment be prepared to read all the books in order – you won’t be disappointed.

Well well well, was this a nice surprise... I was just randomly browsing my mailbox when a particular email peeked my interest and that's how I stumbled on this wonderful opportunity.

It's not a cookie cutter rockstar romance, not at all! Unlike a lot of others this one also shows you the flipside of that world; the actual sex, drugs and rock and roll...

Katie and Sabrina are best friends and both huge fans of "Trouble" and are just planning to go to yet another of their concerts. What they did NOT plan though was to literally run into them!

Needless to say what happens next will be hot, sweaty and a rightfull hot mess... A true rollecoaster ride!

This a very fast paced novel that'll give you a glimps into the raw and gritty side of rock and roll. That's what I very much appreciated about this book in particular.

Oh and let's not forget about Tyler of course ;) He is quite the specimen and harbours a ***load of issues and more.

Damn girl with that ending... I was reading and reading and then "The end"?! Glad to know we have a sequel coming since I am very curious how they'll evolve in the future.

A recommendation for everyone who wants to read a different kind of rockstar romance!

When we met Katie and Tyler in 'Meeting Trouble', I couldn't understand why a sensible girl like her could get addicted to drugs to the extent that she was. Sabrina and Rob found her in a rundown crack house half naked for God's sake. I was shocked. In fact I thought Sabrina was the irresponsible one for sleeping with a man she met the same day without protection. You know, I now get where Katie was coming from. She's got mom and dad's issue. Tyler is broken. When the two met, they clicked as kindred's spirit. Even though Katie did not know it, she became Tyler's enabler and also partner in deed.

The moving and real thing in their story? They do love each other. Tyler the manwhore became a one woman man. That was awesome. The beginning of this book satrted as a two star read for me, but then as it progresses it almost was a 5 star read except for one thing. I have to wait for Katie to say yes to Tyler!

It is also a good thing to read about Sabrina and Rob. I've almost forgotten the details about those two. Now I remember.

I fell in love with Emme Rollins's rockstars, when I read 'Dear Rockstar', and met Sara and Dale. I love Katie and Tyler as well if not more. Tyler is so hard-edged and romantic at the same time. He is such a rockstar! This is an awesome and fabulous read. Highly recommended.

This is the first book I have read by author Emme Rollins and I was a little bit weary going into reading it. The synopsis of the book sounded really good and I love reading about a bad boy rock and roller. But at the same time I was worried about what the book would be like. I was hoping it would turn out to be something else. And let me tell you it was something else and not in a bad way. This book deals with some dark subjects, literally this book is Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll. But at the same time the author had me cracking up through the whole book and in a good way.

I really enjoyed Katie and Tyler's character's in this book. They both obviously came from troubled childhoods and they both seemed to be stronger for their pasts. Katie's character made me laugh the most. Tyler, Tyler, Tyler oh what can I say about Mr. Tyler, I think he deals with the past the only way he thinks is the best for him and that is with drugs.

I really did enjoy this book and I think that Emme Rollins really brought the life of rock stars to life in this book. There's a little bit of everything in it drugs, sex, alcohol. Did I mention the smoking hot sex in this book?

I would give this book 4.5 Stars out of 5 and would recommend it!!!!

After looking into the author after reading this story I found out it was book 4 of a series. However, I found that I could easily read it without reading the others first as it focused on a different set of characters from the story line. I think everyone at one time or another has had a fixation on rock-stars or movie stars and sat around with your friends and fantasized about what you would do if you had the opportunity to meet them. This is a tale of what happens when your fantasies come true. Playboy Tyler has met his match in spunky Katie, she does not immediately jump to do his bidding and his interest is peeked. Katie knows she is just another notch on the bed post, but she does not care as something about Tyler calls to her. This storyline was well written, fast paced and kept you engaged right from the start. The characters were well developed, easy to like and had the ability to pull the reader into their emotional roller coaster. This is not a PG look at the entertainment world, the author gives us a look at some of the darker aspects of the entertainment industry making it a very real feeling experience. Be prepared to laugh, smile, feel sad and angry as the characters fight their demons and struggle to find their place together.

I received this as a ARC for a honest review. Thank u Emme for this chance. It is a true honour. Thos story has u craving more.. I laughed and cried. This book also shows u can over come and put others be for ur self. #MUst-Read!!!

Tyler Cook is a guitarist for the band Trouble Makers. Is has his problems just as everyone else but there is only one person who makes him want better. The pain will give him setbacks. I love Tyler in this story. He is so strong but weak. Love that he what's help. Some in his shoes wouldn't give a craps but Ty does..

Katie Monroe is in love with the Band Trouble Maker's. Her dad isn't there but he does make sure she get front row seat to all there concerts when there in town. She has her demons of course. She is so strong and put others before herself. When as to go on tour she felt like she died and gone to heave. Which was a first for her. She is so weak when it come to Tyler. Will she learn to say no to him? Well u have to read to hind out.

I loved this book it had me giggling and crying.. I didn't want to stop once I started but couldn't keep my eye's open to finish. Dreamed about the book even. Yes it is that good. So again thank u Emme for this honor. #GREATSTORY..

This really gave insight into Katie and Tyler's story. We all know from various snippets from Rob and Sabrina's books what happened at parts, but this is the whole story. Both Katie and Tyler run away from trouble and don't have the coping mechanisms to fight for what they want. When they find each other they get involved in a whirlwind romance and go on the road together. They find themselves going down a rabbit hole and falling deeper and deeper into addiction. It was a powerful story of the way drugs can take over a persons life before they even realize they are even remotely addicted. By the time Katie realizes it, it's too late to just walk away. Tyler convinces her to go down this road with him and both of them face the terrible consequences. Can't wait to see what happens next with these two now that they are on the road to recovery and finding themselves. Emme Rollins did a great job of pulling me into their story and finding myself actually feeling what the characters were going through. Another great addition to this series. I was given a free sample of this book in exchange for a fair review to be posted. I was honored to be given the privilege.

Trouble Makers, book #4 in Emme Rollins's wonderful Trouble series, was a great start to my New Year reading. I received an ARC for an honest review & since I love Trouble it wasn't an effort in the least! I was delighted to read this story of Katie & Tyler. But, don't worry, if you aren't already a fan, you can still enjoy this book without reading the first three in the series; be warned, though, if you don't read the other books in this series, you are doing yourself a serious disservice!
The main characters were awesome; Katie is vivacious, quirky, quick witted, funny & yet striving hard for attention from her family who just don't understand her. Tyler, lead guitar for Trouble has always felt inferior to his Bf, Rob but Katie only has eyes for him. He's a very talented guitar player, has a great voice,, spectacular looks & huge insecurities. Katie & Tyler fall in love but life on tour is no dream, more a nightmare...
Emme Rollins has quickly become one of my "must read" authors & I'd be thrilled if Trouble went on to be an epic length series (lol). Read Trouble Makers" its a guaranteed delight.

I'm not sure how I hadn't heard of this series before, somehow it slipped under my radar but after reading this book which is the fourth in the series I've added the previous three to my TBR.

Trouble Makers may be book 4 in the series but it's the first book in the story of Katie and Tyler. Katie is like so many of us ladies fantasizing about meeting that sexy rocker of our favorite band but she actually gets to live out the fantasy when she meets the object of her dreams, lead guitarist of "Trouble" Tyler Cook. Tyler is well-known for his trouble-making ways with drugs and women but when Katie gets her chance to live out her rocker dream with Tyler she doesn't think twice. Life on the road and of a rocker isn't what fairy tales are made of but can be very harsh, ugly, life-changing and Katie and Tyler go to the extreme of this lifestyle.

This book really surprised me with being true to the lifestyle of a rock star, life on the road living on a tour bus, alcohol and drugs, roadies and groupies, sex, abuse, addiction. Is addiction stronger than love or is there a chance that you can love someone enough to save them and yourself?
