This was such an absolutely lovely story! There were definitely some emotional parts, but the cozy vibes stayed pretty strong throughout the book. It was so cool seeing a character with my name, too! And I actually really loved her character as the story progressed! Everyone of course got their happy endings, and the final letter was so beautiful!

I was glad that the third book was more enjoyable than the second one. The chemistry between Coriander and Barzilay was much more evident and I thought the time skips were not as jarring since it didn’t skip or miss any big events that would be affect the main timeline. Instead, it did a great job on setting up the readers for the main timeline by letting us see Coriander and Barzilay’s origin stories. It was gradual and gentle with the addition of Coriander’s mother’s diary entries that allowed another point of view from the past.

I absolutely loved Coriander’s journey to find Barzilay and how even though his chapters were brief, I thought it really helped with Coriander’s side of the story. Those two’s story set were then the building blocks that would lead us to Rosie, where she’s trying to find herself in a world where dragon shifters were so rare. Finally, at Primrose Court where all three fates collide and we get this wonderful character and relationship buildup. We got to see Coriander and Rosie interact making the their stories interwoven and more relevant to each other which the second book lacked with Will, Zani and Ondalune.

The overall feel and pacing was just smoother and appreciated that Rosie and Coriander got to meet early enough in the book so it didn't feel like there were gaps in the story and plot. It was great to see that Arthur, Maida, Will and Zani be more active in this book as well that made it worthwhile and fun to delve back into Primrose Court and all its magical shenanigans. 💖

🐦‍⬛ My heart!!!❤️‍🩹 I'm so sad to come to the end of The Mudpuddle series.
It's been an honour to be on the ARC team and part of this beautiful story.

A perfectly crafted cozy, and emotional journey 👌
Each oracle card felt like it was personally talking to me.
Found family and strong friendships with characters old and new.

Once again we are transported into the world of Primrose Court and the wonderful cast of Mudpuddle characters. Here, we learn about loss, the value of memories, and always fighting for what you love. These characters find strength in vulnerability and elevate- or levitate? ;) , those around them with their open hearts and willingness to learn and grow. Every book in this series has changed me and I am forever grateful.

Such a cozy story. It was as heartbreaking as it was heartwarming. Losing time with your loved ones always makes me so sad and Coriander and Barzilay lost so much time together. I love the way that the author set this book up with the journal entries, past memories, the present, and the oracle cards. There was a lot going on, but it all painted such a detailed picture. I’ll be sad to leave Primrose Court, but this book rounded off the series nicely.

A trilogy full of magical adventures, found family, and friendships to last over lifetimes. Primrose Court was perfect. A cozy read that brings everyone together. It rounds out the Mudpuddle series perfectly.

The past lost was brought to us through journal entries and Oracle cards. The story flowed effortlessly. And it all came together with HEAs all around.

I loved this series. I am sad to see it go.

The problem with this series is I have to be very careful when I read one. I can’t put them down…phone calls go unanswered, sleep is secondary, and dishes pile up. I have to clear out the space in my life to immerse myself into the characters and the Mudpuddle. Yes- they are that good. Ciara creates magic with words. There are a few treasures I would gladly trade for the next book to emerge quickly!!
Unfortunately there are only 5 stars to be granted- these deserve more.

Torn between 3 and 4 stars, so I'm being generous. As with the others in this series, so fun, good world building, crisp characters.

The idea of selling memories to get entrance into the night market is kinda wild.

The downside: the first 12 chapters are so full of teenage angst that I found it affecting my attitude throughout the day. That was a bunch of angst to process!

I like that some things in the story didn't spin the way I expected I liked getting resolution at the end.

A Good Different

I was surprised at the new elements in this 3rd book of the series, and I thoroughly enjoyed them. And I also appreciated the familiar characters, and, as always, The Mudpuddle. It's so nice when you can thoroughly revile the bad guy/girl too! Things end up the way they should in this series, with romance, friendship, family and comeuppance where it counts. Definitely recommended.

time line issues

For the love of all things logical, watch your timelines. You cannot have 10 years and 2 months occur simultaneously to the same people. If one person experiences 10 years and the same occurrences, you cannot have everyone else experience 2-4 months with the same occurrences. This is a horrible flaw in your plot and timeline. Stop it.

Good story

This author has a great imagination! I really enjoyed the characters in this story. I found myself tore between- I couldn't put it down and shutting my Kindle and walking away because it was intense at times. They had quite the adventure!
I would definitely recommend this series. I will also be looking for other stories from Ciara Blume.

I've loved these books, but this one was dizzying to me. So many switchbacks and names that sound the same it was all just a bit much and overwhelming. Things did get better towards the end of the book. So, I must say this wasn't my favorite even though I loved the main characters.

totally delightful

How satisfying to read a well crafted tale with just enough dramatic tension with happily resolved plots with lots of twists and turns. Love the bonus Magpie Oracle- was hoping for that- and look forward to more great stories from Ciara!
