I got too caught up in the suspense to wait for Webtoon to finish this series and resorted to translation scans for the final few chapters. If you read webtoons or comics, read The Greatest Estate Developer. Absolutely one of the best I have ever read. So strange, so funny, and yet so meaningful. and the gorgeous art too! This is what isekai should aspire to be.

A masterpiece. An amazing page turner that you can't deny the immense pleasure you get by unveiling what's happening! Truly, made me laugh more, cry a few times and importantly, made me realize that stories like these are the reason I read. Absolutely funny how Javier changes through the story because of Lloyd, the poor pure justice driven mad turning into a demon incarnate! Peak comedy it is I say. But Javier's undying loyalty to Lloyd is such a softie patootie moment. I love how lloyds parents love him as their son, although they know it's not their son, they still love him as theirs. And Queen Alicia, falling for Lloyds hideous face! nahh. Alters her whole view by finding hideous potato looking statues gorgeous! Utter disbelief. I long for the love Alicia gives lloyd. Truly majestic how she waits for him for years and doesn't give up. I love how she said, "Safety." when she first saw his real body when he came back, and he replied with, "FIRSTT!!"
Truly lovely. The greatest estate developer is truly a majestic comical read, and you're missing out if you're not planning to read it!

Despite the completion of two apartment buildings, terraced farmland, and the acquisition of a dragon--this volume feels a bit like filler. Lots of panels are dedicated to action, slapstick, and sarcasm leaving the character development thin. Genre experience and foreshadowing set expectations but the yo-yo of tone doesn't always work. The basic premise and attitude keep it engaging but on occasion I wish for a little more substance.
