This is brilliant! A shifter book for adults that isn’t all sex. Fuller keeps you captivated with her story about real adults, doing real work and life related things, with a heaping side of magical transformation. But don’t get me wrong. This novel is definitely still hot. The bedroom scenes are simply worked into the storyline proper. Fuller uses them to develop the plot rather than as a break from it.
I appreciate the fact that this was a well put together, quick read that kept me focussed on the story at hand. Fuller melds romance with suspense and the concept of life mates together to keep you hooked. That said, I did find myself tripping over the spelling and grammar a few times. Nothing major, and the captivating story covered for it, but it was there. Fuller’s fast paced narrative keeps you running forward with the story line trying to guess what’s going to happen next.
The characters in this novel definitely heightened the intensity of the story. They stood out as individuals and as couples. This went for both the main characters and the prominent secondary characters. The fact that they are also bound up in prophecy, human conventions, and wolf conventions makes it all the more exciting. You not only get to know these characters but come to enjoy their company.

What would you do if your life went from normal to unexplainable within two days? That is what has happened to Amanda Archer and despite a three hundred year old wolf explaining she is his mate, she is pretty sure she is not.
Marco De Lucia has waited a long time to meet his mate. She is everything he wished his mate to be and then some. Of course getting her to understand her role as the alpha's mate is met with hesitancy and outside interferences that are not thrilled with the new mate.
Excellent read, Amanda has a ton of spunk and there are times in the book you are chuckling with her candid exclamations. Marco is suave, everything a alpha wolf should be. I thought it had a bit of a gothic modern twist to the story. Highly entertaining.

I don't know where I stand on this book...it's like a full course meal. I honestly didn't come away hungry after reading it....I kinda wanted to see what else this author could do...LOL
Amanda, is the that girl who's working, dating a loser (doesn't know it yet) , and has a secret hidden inside, which is also hidden from her. She's a rather fun character...at first I thought she was going to be this shy, stand off-ish prude, man was I wrong!!! One bottle of 200 year old "wine" from the new boss and that notion was thrown out the window.
Her character turned out to be a strong, very sexual, vixen, that I personally enjoyed. However, I don't think Charlie enjoyed her very much...such an A$$hole anyway...I honestly think he got what he deserved!!!
But, hey we all can't be mated to a very hot Marco...can we now!?!?!?!?!
Now on to my favorite character....Marco!!!!
Wholly Boogers!!!! Could an author create a better wolf for me to drool over????????

He is the poster of old world charm....a walking sex-pot....and he soooooo lives up to his "Dreamy" status.
I love how he fulfills the prophecy, although rather sneaky in some ways....down right sexy as hell!!
I guess when you know your mate, you'd do anything and everything to get them.......
As the story progresses the scenes between our two mates get more intense. Just when you think you're almost done with your main course of your reading meal....this author blows your minds with a twist right out of Germany......One that throws our little mates in turmoil......and we haven't even got to dessert.
Let me tell you the ending of this book is NOTHING like you would think....
I personally would have his A$$ if he told me something like that....I mean what the heck really less than 5 weeks????? Wholly Boogers!!!!!
Well Done Ms. Fuller....Feel Free to set me up with any of your heroes.....I mean if they give as good as this one....I'm game!!!!

Yummy Shifter Crack. Yep, that is what this is. Just go one click it if you are a shifter crack addict, like myself. Yummy Goodness! Yes I know I said that already ;) . I will be finding her other books asap.
Marco is a very hot, very old wolf who finally found the mate he had been waiting for. The one the prophecy told of. Amanda has no idea his world exists even though she is more like him then she could have ever guessed. I really enjoyed this story. It was different enough to keep me glued to my kindle, but familiar enough to be everything I love about shifter crack. I also loved how there was a secondary love story. It looks like this may be the first in a series and if so I plan to devour them all. The story is 100% complete with no cliff hangers. I just want to know more from this world.

Points for getting right into the story, unknown to the h she is a wolf shifter but was hidden away to protect her until she comes of age. She is promised to the wolf King Marco. Amanda's character was underdeveloped so at first she seemed inconsistent in her personality. After the change, it could have been explained by the changes in her body so it made her more likable.
Pluses: The story moves steadily and the sex was hot. It's a total fairy tale with no triggers. There is an OW but the H wants nothing to do with her and she poses a danger but no "drama" the H & h are devoted to each other from the start. It kept my interest. The sex was hot.
Negs: Like I said underdeveloped characters and a somewhat predictable plot. Those are outweighed by the pluses and the fact I got it for free.

Amanda Archer Has a great job and just got promoted as well
The boss that promoter her is a wolf but she does not know this
at the time .. Marco is his name .. Amanda is wolf also but she does not know
this yet until Marco gives her some type of wine to wake up her wolf ..
They are mates .. Marco has waited a long time to mate with her ..

This is a great book to read it's a stand alone

I couldn't really get into this story, there was something that happened at the beginning of the book that immediately turned me off and after that I had a hard time finishing it. It wasn't that it was bad or that there was anything wrong with the characters, I wasn't ok with certain things that happened so this book just wasn't my cup of tea.

Alpha Wolf
This was a great and fantastic read. I was not able to put this book down. It had a very interesting and intriguing storyline. There were some shocking moments in this book that I didn’t see coming. I love how strong Amanda was and the relationship that she shared with Caroline. Marco with his dominant alpha ways was a perfect counterpart to the feisty heroine. This was my first book by Karen Fuller but she will now go on my must read list. Kudos for a great book.

Marco is waiting for his "alfa lupo" to fulfill the prophecy. Amanda thought she had it made - 25 and everything she wanted until her world went spinning out of control with Marco. This is a well written story about prophecies and finding your mates - I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more. A great book about werewolves - a definite must read. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Thank you Karen Fuller for letting me read you wonderful book.

WOW, this was an amazing read. I finished it within a few hours. I could not put it down. It moved along at a great pace, has characters that grab you and a story that will keep you entertained from the very first page all the way till the very last page.
Karen Fuller is an amazing author and I am glad that I got the opportunity to read this.

Just throw me to the wolves...please! You can never have too many shifter books on your shelves or burning up your Kindle...especially if they feature WOLVES! Karen Fuller filled my fantasy fix with "Cry Wolf".
