I am new to this author, but have h ard good things about their work, so I will was very pl asked when I saw this book and it sounded really good. I liked the idea of forced proximity, with a side of second chance. I do have to say, whilst the whole ordeal is funny and adds something to th ae two figuring out who they are without each other, as well as who they are together, it I was Freya and I found out my spouse was using me as fodder, I do not know if I could ever come close to speaking with them again, especially when the relationship is so precarious anyway. I did really love the premise of the he book and the characters are lovely. It was great to get to know them and then get to know the new them, both together and apart, as well as new relationships built. I really liked the book.
This book was very nearly in my DNF pile but I stuck with it and wish I could say it got better. I found it very slow and the 2 main characters didn’t have much about them. It’s not a book a will be reaching for again
