Building a website can be a daunting task for anyone who is not used to using the internet and in those who have grown up with the internet as it has developed can feel overwhelmed when it comes to building a website from scratch.
But whether you are building a website for personal use, as a fan site, a blog for your community organisation or you are designing a website for your own small business there is a great answer that this book provides – Wordpress.
The idea of using a web service like Wordpress to create a whole website and not just a blog is something that people tell you is easy but when you are faced with having to do it yourself with no help from your very own website designer sitting beside you can still be a rather overwhelming prospect.
This book changes all that. It not only tells you how to build a website really clearly and simply; it shows you too. There are lots of guides out there on how to build websites but there are none that I have come across that make website building this easy and in such a short space of time.
For small businesses this book is a real godsend especially when there are a lot of small businesses out there that need a web presence but can’t afford to pay someone to build and maintain their website. The guide shows you how to build a really professional looking website without having to pay out money that you can’t afford.
Gone is all the frustration and feeling inept because you don’t speak html code as your native language. There may be some things you want to add to your site that will still be beyond your reach without a web designers help but you can build the basics and still have it look impressive without spending three months trying to work out how to upload a homepage.
