Oh how I wanted to slap Mya around a few times..... Ok a lot. But I understood hard hard exterior, it was great to see her fall in love . This was Such a great story, smh those Madden brothers are nothing to play with. I know this is an Elite Event series but can we get a Madden brothers spin off Mrs. Green please and thank you lol

While reading a romance the first thing that I look for is character strength. Do I feel the emotions they exude jump off the page? Are the issues they face enough to hold my attention from beginning to end? I am also on the lookout for a strong female lead. I was given ARC of Beautiful Surrender by Sherrelle Green for an honest review. Ms. Green certainly had the strong female lead. Mya had to be tough in order to endure growing up in foster care. She used the experiences and hardships to create a good life for herself. The chemistry between Mya and Malik is electric. Sometimes the Mya character came across a little to strong. But that was to be expected considering the obstacles she had to face in her youth. The strength was her shield against further hurt and pain. In a lot of ways May and Malik were similiar. They both had to learn that being vulnerable did not mean being weak. Beautiful Surrender is a deeply emotional read. Enjoyed it.

Loved this story! Mya & Malik were exactly what each other needed. Their love for each helped them overcome obstacles they both weren't sure they could. This is the kind of love I'm looking for! That forever we can do anything as long as we together kind of love!!!

Private Investigator Malik Madden and Elite events coordinator Mya Winters have chemistry. Malik overthinks things and Mya didn’t want to like him, but really did. They were co-hosting the charity date auction and didn’t went to mix business with pleasure. They formed a natural connection once Mya stopped fighting it. No matter how far things went, Malik remained a gentleman, but he still made her lose control.
Mya had a chip in her shoulder because of her upbringing in foster care. Malik didn’t care how she grew up and was willing to help her find out some key things about her past. This turned out to be such a touching story.

Cute! Humorous! Sassy!
I loved how Mya and Malik got to know one another BEFORE the sprint to the bedroom, as so many other stories begin.
Malik is a successful business man who looks at the whole picture before he jumps in. I could have strangled his ex-girlfriends who walked away because of his "secret". Malik is a strong, honest, and generous man, shouldn't that count for something?
I really loved how Malik's private investigation found Mya's family and the beautiful welcome they gave her.

Read as part of my 2017 Romance Reading Challenge.
This was a very enjoyable read. I had my issues with Mya a time or two... Mostly when she was arguing for arguing's sake, not because she actually disagreed. But the story was well written, the characters felt genuine, and I would 100% like a Malik of my own.

Submitting To Love
Mya was a force to be reckoned with and didn't hold anything back. Malik was like a quiet storm that came in a blew all of Mya's walls down. Mya felt a comfort in Malik that allowed her to open up to him and ask him for help with finding her sister. Malik and Mya's chemistry was off the charts. He loved her flaws and all and she loved him flaws and all too.

The Elite Events series is so good!!! I loved each of the four leading ladies and their leading men. Malik was the perfect match for Mya. Even though she didn't make it easy for him (or herself lol), he hung in there. Definitely read this series if you haven't. It was also great to see Malik and Micah's cousins make an appearance.

This was such a great way to end the series! Mya’s story was so heart wrenching but full of hope. She deserved every good thing that came her way in the end. Her and Malik’s little surprise was the icing on the cake.

Amazing
Every time I read one of Ms Green’s books I thinks it’s the best, until I read the next one. But this one by far exceeds the previous books. The story is one so close to my heart it could’ve been about me! I loved it!

Surrendering never felt so good
Mya and Malik surrendered to their passion overcoming secrets from their past. I enjoyed this series tremendously. I’m glad I was able to read Micah’s and Malik’s story from the Maddens.

Mya Winters grew up in the foster care system and after being rescued by a matronly woman, she learns to survive and becomes successful in her field. She is portrayed as a strong independent female that can cut a man down with just one word. Until she encounters Malik Madden. Malik is portrayed as the quiet Madden sibling and always the planner or should I say the strategist. He believes he is the one that can break through Mya’s shell and volunteers to co-host the charity event with her. Two strong willed people make for a very passionate relationship. Malik is able to handle Mya and their family and friends will stop at nothing to throw these two together every chance they get.

The dialogue was appropriate for the storyline.

This was a well-crafted story that will keep readers engaged especially with each interaction between Malik and Mya.

Although Mya gave Malik a run for his money, with the snappy comebacks and cutting remarks, Malik was able to handle and put Ms. Mya in her place. Malik knew Mya’s tough persona was inspired by her past experience and how she grew up, but he knew his feelings were true and realized she was the one for him. I loved reading their journey and would recommend this book and the series. Great read.

Your past doesn't have to affect your future!
I must say this novel has been the best in the series to date! I really enjoyed this novel! The love between Mya and Malik unfolded so well. Mya had a rough start in life but she overcame the obstacles and has a great career but has buried a lot of hurts. When she first meets Malik she tries to put up walls but Malik knew what he wanted and was determined to have May! Loved it and loved the ending. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is I found a few errors but overall a great read. 4.5 stars Sherelle Green! Keep writing, I'll keep reading!

Omg! What an awesome love story between Malik and Mya! It was definitely a tear-jerker for me because of all of the hardships that each person had to reveal to the other in order to break through barriers that had a hold on each one of them! I enjoyed it immensely from start to finish! Mya was a tough cookie that could care less what came out of her mouth until she met her match in Malik! They deserved each other and in the end, true love was able to shine through! Awesome read Ms. Green!!!!!

Truly enjoyed this series and I really hated for it to end maybe we'll meet these characters again. Great series and job well done Sherelle Green.

Good book even though Mya Winters made me want to shake her a couple of times. Malik Madden, private investigator, wasn't playing that game. He was persistent as well as caring, observant and loving.

Writing her way to the top of the New York Times best sellers list Sherelle Green has done it again. Amazing story line with a well hidden plot and surprises. Mya Winters worked my last nerve, but I give it to Malik Madden he gave it right back to her in spades.
