Bethany has led a spoiled life, thanks to her older sister, Levinia, who always did everything for her while raising her. Being a domestic failure, Bethany decides it's time she learned those skills so she can find a husband.
With the help of the Widow Yoder, Bethany talks her father into re-opening her mother's bakery that has sat vacant since her passing.
She quickly finds out that baking is not as easy as it looks.
Regretting his decision to let his daughter run the bakery, her father enlists the help of Benjamin, Miriam's older brother, to teach Bethany the skills she needs to make a success of the business.
Insulted by her father's lack of confidence in her, and feeling threatened by Benjamin's perfection when it comes to baking, Bethany sets out to sabotage him, hoping her father will fire him.
Will her new skills as a baker enable her to get the husband she has her eye on, or will Benjamin sabotage her efforts?

Review of book #3 Amish Brides of Willow Creek

This is another good novella. It is good to be able to read a different kind of story. So many of them are almost the same story, but this series has had different stories and I have enjoyed them very much. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys reading

Sweet Nothings is the third book written by Samantha Bayarr in her Amish Brides of Willow Creek series. This is a wonderful that teaches a lesson of why not to be deceitful. This story revolves around one of the original characters of the first book, Bethany. I have really become attached to her because of her innocence but she still needs a lot of guidance.

Bethany is being deceitful towards her daed trying to get him to reopen her mamm's bakery and turn it over to her. This sets Bethany on a very rocky journey with many people. She even sabotages efforts to help her gain control of the bakery. Who is she really hurting others or herself? When Benjamin makes his desires known will she finally grow up or continue to be the spoiled young girl she has always been. The characters are very likeable and realistic. The authir has done a great job creating her characters to tell her story.

I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I was not approached by anyone to post a favorable review. I have rated this book with five stars for meeting my expectations of a wonderful story that I can highly recommend to others. This is another great addition to the series.

Congratulations to Samantha Bayarr for writing another fantastic story for her readers to enjoy. I look forward to reading the fourth book in this series.

Bethany, a selfish, spoiled, 18 year-old, Amish girl, void of domestic abilities wonders if she’ll ever ‘land-an-Amish-husband.” Her first attempt at setting out on her own ends in calamity, forcing her return home where she hatches a plan to get what she wants, her mother’s bakery. As she and the Widow Yoder set out to deceive Bethany’s father, Bethany has more trouble than she can handle. To make matters worse, Bethany’s father hires Benjamin, an accomplished baker, to tutor her. Can Bethany put her selfish pride aside, make her father proud, land a husband, and not burn down the bakery, all at the same time, or will her father’s fears come true? Bayarr’s third book in the series is a great, clean, read for any age.

I loved this book and felt so strongly that Bethany would never grow up and quit acting like a child. She wants more than anything to be seen as a responsible adult and be able to run her mamm's old bakery. But the only way Bethany knows how to get anything is by throwing a fit or acting childish.

When Benjamin decides to help her with her dream she doesn't even want his help, though I think she is secretly fascinated by him.

Reading this book and watching all that unfolds with these characters is truly amazing. It will definitely keep you guessing til the end.

This is another good clean Christian book in this series. My favorite characters are Bethany and Benjamin. Bethany was wanting to be a successful business woman but could her pride and jealousy of Benjamin cost her her dreams and her love for Benjamin.

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!
Would definitely suggest reading this series in order to get the full spectrum of the characters. (May add more to this later. Right now, I've got to read the next one!)
