Le désorcèlement d'exploitations agricoles envisagé comme thérapie familiale. Très intéressant sur ce qu'il révèle des dynamiques au sein d'un couple d'exploitants, de la place des épouses dans les années 1970 en Normandie, et plus particulièrement du travail de care qu’elles fournissent dans le cadre de cette "crise" à surmonter. La chercheuse évite tout jugement de valeur et quand elle raconte l'effroi que lui inspire la désorceleuse locale Madame Flora sa candeur est touchante.

Wow. Une spectaculaire conclusion, 30 ans plus tard, au projet ethnographique de Jeanne Favret-Saada exposé une première fois dans Les mots la mort les sorts. Une remarquable étude sur la cure psychique magique, dégageant des éléments qui ne pouvaient être aperçus ni par les praticiens ni par l'ethnographie normale ni par les folkloristes ou autres : les amnésies spécifiques, les conversions du regard, la cure comme gain d'énergie, le rôle spécifique des femmes et l'intégration de l'ensorcellement dans la sociologie spécifique du bocage. Fantastique, extrêmement efficace et convaincant.

Très bon livre, on en apprend beaucoup sur la sorcellerie et son côté thérapeutique. En tant qu'essai c'est un peu froid mais loin d'être inintéressant.
