Love is the human condition. Without it, life is devoid of meaning. Thankfully, I have a man whom I love with every fiber of my being. He is my world, and with his son, we will have a glorious, perfect, beautiful life together. He just doesn't know it yet. There are some bumps in the road on my way to him, but all great love stories have hurdles.Romeo and Juliet fought against a familial feud.Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy had to sort out his views of her family.Noah and Allie face timing and an ever changing world. But I know we'll have it easier. When I come clean, he'll accept me, because our love is written in the stars; Hudson Gray is my fate. He'll see that everything I've done is to prove that I'm his, through and through. That he has me, all of me, and all my love. Forever. No take backs.
Daisy Jane is a forbidden love romance author, inspired by VC Andrews and more . When she's not penning a hot age gap novel or dreaming up steamy stories, she's enjoying the sunshine and warmth at her home in California. She enjoys reading, true crime, exercise and, of course, romance.
What an unhinged time (nervous smile plastered on my face). Usually in dark romances, you have the hero being the OTT stalker/murder/something morally depraved. However in here, the heroine is the nuts one.
Dolly lives with her 2 sisters, and has been in love with her neighbor Hudson since he moved in next door with his wife and young son over half a decade before. Dolly immediately becomes obsessed with Hudson, and starts stalking him. After his wife leaves, she takes her stalking to new bounds and becomes Hudson’s son’s babysitter. Now an adult, Dolly will do anything to get Hudson to notice her, and to fend off all unwanted female attention.
Dolly is absolutely unhinged. Like, fucking crazy. She breaks into Hudson’s house, sucks on his tooth brush, will only drink his leftover coffee, watches him through her window with binoculars, and takes pictures of him without him knowing. And I loved her. I couldn’t even dislike her if I tried. She’s so sweet and ernest in her crazy that the stalking just becomes kind of…endearing?
This is honestly such a cozy book for how fucking dark it really is. Everything is written in such a fun and tight knit small town feel you often times see in small town romances. The hero is a single dad cowboy who adores his son and is quite awkward around the women in town, the towns people are sort of meddling in his affairs, and then there’s Dolly who’s an absolute sunshine sweetheart but is crazy and stalks and tracks the hero every second of the day.
This is also borderline erotica because Dolly is nuts as we’ve covered, and gets turned on by everything Hudson does. She rubs some out because she likes sucking on his toothbrush. Did I mention that Dolly is crazy? Because she is very crazy. But leave it to Daisy Jane to write hardcore smut with some out there kinks, and still have a super sweet and cozy romance? Even with the stalking? I feel like it takes a really skilled writer to do that.
Unfortunately for me, I think there was a little too much banging and not enough relationship development. It’s obviously very instalove, at least on Dolly’s side because she’s been in love with Hudson forever. We’re mostly in Dolly’s POV, so I just feel like there wasn’t a lot of build up from friends to fucking. Don’t get me wrong, if there’s one thing Daisy Jane can do, it’s write super hot spice. I just wish there was more romance. But it’s a Daisy Jane book so I think I hyped myself up a little too much for that department.
Still a really great book if you want cozy and crazy. I like if you’ve enjoyed SJ Tilly’s Alliance series, you might like this a lot. There’s absolutely no mafia in this book, but if you like that very dark vibe with a cozy little setting, you’d probably really enjoy this book.

God forbid a woman have hobbies????
RTC.

Apparently she’s the stalker in this book, so I’m very excited for that 👀
As always:
reading about crazy women >>>> reading about crazy men 🤷♀️
Reread in June 2025, this doesn't age well for me. This will be the last reread for me, I think. 😄😝 . . .
Reread for Patreon in 2025 . . .
Wowza! This was intense! But I couldn't look away.
I just love how fearless Daisy Jane is with her stories. Cause she just GOES there with these characters. Dolly is so OTT she is going to make some people uncomfortable, yet she is also that kind of character that you kinda want to be. To a certain degree anyway. Hahaha! The way she is obsessed with Hudson and she is going to make him hers.
She's been obsessed with him for years and she is just waiting for the moment to make her move. Her antics and obsession go way too far (toothbrushes, anyone?) but it is also in an endearing kind of way. She just cares SO much for Hudson and for his little boy. It's kind of... sweet to see her devotion to him. You do have to suspend a certain amount of reality but hey, I read Alien romance too, so I'm not judgey.
Hudson is a single dad and a Cowboy. That's it. That's all you need to know.
Just kidding, but that's enough for me. He's a great man and a devoted father. He longs for a woman who is completely in love with him and his son. After he found his cheating ex with his best friend, he's had some trust issues. He has started to notice Dolly as more than just his next door neighbor and since she is 18 years younger than him.. he feels very guilty about it.
Thankfully, he won't have to feel that way for long.
This was just such a fun read. There are some very questionable and wacky situations with Dolly seeking her "release" as she dreams about Hudson, so be prepared for that. But it is truly a spicy, fun, and sweet time.
Did I mention spicy? hot dannnggggg.... that's all I have to say.
Oh, and she has two sisters who know and support her obsession, so I can't wait to read their books to.
2.5-3 stars This book honestly disappointed me, sadly. I wouldn’t call it “slow burn”, I’d just call it slow. They hardly interact the first like 70% of the book, they just think about each other. And there was WAY too much time spent on the ow, especially considering he didn’t even like her. Why the fuck would he have a woman he had met twice and doesn’t even like watch his kid??? Like…what sense does that make?? And him saying he HAS to try to make it work with her so his sister can live her life? Sir, you’re 38 years old, why are you dating someone you don’t like because of your sister? He tries to date this won’t for like 50% of the book, it was way too long. Thankfully I don’t think he ever did anything with her, just 2-3 dates, but still it was unnecessary.
There was zero relationship development. They never spent time together so it was basically think about each other for 75% and then confrontation for 10% then fuck for 15%. The entire rest of the book after he confronts her was just the author trying to fit in what I’m guessing she thought was kinky fucking and as many kinks as she could think of. If these kinks had happened over the progression of the book, I would’ve like it, but since it was fit into back to back to back sex scenes, it didn’t seem natural and special between the couple and just read like porn.
I wanted to love this book, but honestly, I enjoyed the sisters and Dolly and Bear (H son) moments then with Dolly and Hudson.. because he was so wishy washy and wanted to please his sister with dating this ow. Like your 38 years old? You're letting your own sister boss you around on who to date, and after one date, he wasn't feeling her but still went on 2 more dates. He even let this woman WATCH HIS SON! AND ALMOST GOT HIS SON KILLED. THAT'S WHEN HE FINALLY SAW FHE LIGHT. Pleaseeeee.. poor dolly... Like girl, you might be obessed, but you were sorta a doormat. But honest, I love the friendship she had with Bear she didn't use his son, but she loved spending time with him as they made art together it was a cute moment.
The sisters' relationship was amazing. I love they never shamed each other for their kinks or obsessions. They watched out for one another. Good on them.
78% they finally get together from all the drama that's been going on.. he finally saw the red flags and finally went well she loves me enough I'm get with her. Like, it annoyed me so much. Dolly obession deserves better. With all she did.. I felt he didn't give back the same energy. Spice was okay for me. I think the book and H tainted me for loving the spice.
I'm a little meh about the sisters' love interest in the next book. I am not sold on the tattoo guy. He scream manwhore and I feel it be alot of fmc being jelly with all his fans and woman so I might skip that one.
Ow drama/no om, secondary character, drama, virgin gal no manwhore (but we see him go on date)

I don’t even know where to start with this book - there’s just not one single thing that I didn’t absolutely love! I love dark romance and stalker reads are some of my favorite. All My Love took my favorite trope and flipped the switch! SHE stalks HIM and it’s all wrapped up in the sweetness of a small town romance.
Dahlia (Dolly) meets Hudson when he moves in next door when she’s 15 and he's 32. She knows a “good guy” like him isn’t going to go for an inappropriate relationship with a young girl, so she implements a plan and plays the long game, lol. She is singularly focused. A low key hurricane that's fully integrated herself into his life. Five years later, at almost 21, Dolly is ready to execute the final stages of her plan, but she just needs to give Hudson the push he needs. Hudson is just a really good dude. Not a player. Works hard and wants the best for his son. Would love to find happiness, but his ex has made him have trust issues. Dolly just knows she’s his soulmate and nothing and no one will stand in her way. She is completely unhinged and I am totally here for it. Seriously, all the red flags, lol. There’s nothing I could say that could prepare you for her actions or her brand of insanity.
The writing is wonderful and sweet all wrapped up in craziness, lol. I was seriously laughing hard in some spots between from her antics that her sisters fully support and enable. It’s a slow burn, but the chemistry between them is super hot and by the time it combusts, you’re going to singe your eyelashes while reading. And the schminks! Ummmm … 🔥🔥🔥. I cannot wait for the next sister’s book, but this one is definitely going in my Faves of 2024 pile!
"I swear on Joe Goldberg himself, Hudson seems to be slightly...flirty with me."
I feel like it's rare that you come across a book where the FMC is the obsessive/stalker-ish one, and let me tell you, DJ devoured with this book 😭.
The buildup and reveals were so satisfying because they were written really well. Usually when you read books like this, there'll just be quick acceptance and then an epilogue- but this actually felt like a complete story. The characters properly processed and acknowledged how messed up everything was AND THEN accepted it, which we love to see (let's stay delusional).
Dolly's POV was so interesting to read from, because yes she was crazy 😭 but we support women's rights and wrongs so I'm just going to go ahead and call it a day 💀(Also the Henry Cavill addiction at the beginning was so real).
I did not expect to like this book so much but just know that I'll be binging DJ's books from here on out.
wow, this was a WILD ride. i don't think i have read a ✨girl obsessed✨ book before and certainly not a female stalker book. this book was ✨fun vibes✨ throughout.
dahlia 'dolly' ellington fell HEAD OVER HEELS for hudson gray, as soon as she laid eyes on him when he moved next door five years ago when she was 15. gone was her henry cavill crush and now her obsession began. dolly has spent five years watching, appreciating, admiring and planning for the day she will make hudson hers. she has spent that time building a true relationship with his son, bear and has waited until she was 20 to get him to finally notice her.
this is slow burn, pining for 70% and then fiery burn burn 🔥burn🔥 for the last 30%. it was so fun to read and i would recommend for that 30% spice alone!
thank you to @authordaisyjane and @theauthor.agency for sending me this arc.
Usually the MMC is the obsessed stalker, so it was refreshing that Dolly was the one obsessed with Hudson, her older, single dad neighbour.
Dolly’s actions were pretty unhinged (THE TOOTHBRUTH! We even get a warning before the book starts), but in a “all teenage girls could have ended up on this path” sort of way. Maybe. 😆 It’s written as sweet and endearing, as she’s got too much love for Hudson and Bear (his son) that she can’t just can’t contain it.
I'd read the Bluebell Bruisers series and met Dolly and Hudson already, I was curious about them because Dolly mentioned she'd done some crazy stuff for her man and I wanted to know what. This author wrote a h obsessed book already and I didn't like it..... In that situation it could've turned around if the H had accepted her obsession..... In this case aside for some concern for his son Hudson LIKED Dolly's obsession with him 🤭 and I loved that for him and me. Now this book wasn't perfect, tbh it's irritating how long they took to get together. We get probably about 75% maybe 🤔 of lead up to the romance, with just some neighbourly interaction between them but they think of each other. Why it didn't matter to me is that I loved Dolly's crazy ass so I didn't mind being in her head 😂😂😂.
I don't think I'll do my usual review I'll just note the important points. Hudson moved in next door when Dolly was around 15/16; he was married, wife cheated and left him with a young baby. Dolly spent the next few years waiting until she was old enough for him to take her seriously and for her to be an adult. She loved Hudson and his son Bear. I loved that her love for Bear was seperate and distinct from her love for Hudson, she wasn't using him to get to his dad, she genuinely loved Bear. At around 20 she starts putting things in place to get her man finally.
* Hudson went on a few dates with ow that his sister set him up with. He was attracted to h, but felt she was too young so he tried to date ow but he wasn't really into her. Only thing that really pissed me off was him leaving his son with her and poor Bear getting hurt. Good thing the h saved him and put the hurting on that bitch.
**Dolly did a lot of seriously crazy ass shit, seriously the toothbrush had me contemplating therapy so go into this one with caution. Also her trashing stuff suggested a need for therapy.....or she just needed Hudson 🤷🏾♀️. We didn't get much time with them actually together, Hudson said ily and proposed pretty quickly but I've seen them in other books and they're lovely together so I'm quite content with their HEA. I think because of what he'd been through he needed someone to love him as much as Dolly did. ********************
Soulmates always understand each other. Stretching, I finally climb out of bed, knowing I have four minutes to get to the window. I toe into my fuzzy slippers and wrap up in my matching robe, then position myself behind the curtain in my room, binoculars in hand. I can see just fine. But details. I’m a details girl. The cool metal binoculars touch the bridge of my nose with comfortable familiarity, and I suck in a sniper’s breath, holding myself steady as I peer and wait. Like clockwork, the worn black lacquer door with a rusted knocker and offset peephole opens. I can only see the side of the front porch from where my room is in the house, but it’s more than I saw out of the window that faced the lawn five years ago. The first day I met Hudson, I forced Ivy to switch rooms with me.
As I pull open the door, my senses awaken at the scent and temperature of Hudson’s home rushing against my face. Crackling, comfortable warmth hits my nose along with smells of coffee and aftershave, and a trace of pepper hanging in the air—maybe left over from last night’s blackened cod. I twist the deadbolt after clicking the door closed, and slide out of my sneakers. Stepping out of them, I get to work, making my way through the kitchen first. His mug sits dead center in the white porcelain sink basin, an inch of unfinished coffee left behind inside. My chest squeezes. He hasn’t left a dish in the sink in a few weeks. Carefully, I lift the mug from the sink, running my thumb over the block letters reading WORLD’S GREATEST DAD. Turning it over in my hands carefully, so as not to spill the remainder, I search for an indication as to where he drank from. But without a single drip in sight, I play it safe, and drag my tongue along the entire rim, my veins going hot at all the unseen things I’m collecting. Traces of his lips. Maybe even saliva. Tipping it back, I drink the rest of the cold, bitter coffee. I don’t drink coffee unless it’s his.
Carefully, I slide my nail beneath the seal, popping it open. After unfolding the paper stuffed inside, I find that I was right. Feed ‘n’ Seed did not send a statement. Without hesitation, my blood goes fiery, anger thrashing in my veins. The paper is a letter from Jade, inviting herself over to Gray Farms before the market on Saturday. I’m good here at the store, which means I’d be pretty darn good at your place too. If you ever need help setting up, just give me a call. xo Jade 632-5524 You dumb little bitch. Thank God I come here and do this. Hudson doesn’t want to be hit on by some crazy Feed ‘n’ Seed skank like Jade. Sliding the letter into the envelope, I move back to the sink and run it beneath the tap. I keep it there, the scalding water singeing my skin while also freeing the ink, both printed and written. After wrapping it in a paper towel, I stuff it in the trash under the sink, and make my way into the living room.
I love that he buys a masculine soap. I don’t like thinking of anyone else smelling him, but still, I love the way he smells. I wish I could bathe in it, bottle it, drink it, roll the fuck around in it. It’s so good. Pressing it to my cheek, I rub the damp fabric along my skin, imagining Hudson wiping cum off my lips and nose after a facial. My body warms at the fantasy. Hot sprays over my face, feral, deep-rooted grunts in the air, followed by his utter attention and care as he cleans me afterward—so perfect. One day. One day soon. Dropping it into the basket, I replace the lid and face the sink, where my eyes go easily to the red toothbrush that rests idly in the silver cup. Reaching into my pocket, I produce the brand-new red toothbrush, or item number B0124AZG8Y as I know it. After removing it from the package, I shove the plastic wrappings and strip of cardboard into my pocket and switch the new one with his. My mouth waters now that the sleek plastic is pinched in my palm. I clutch the counter’s edge as I bring the toothbrush to my mouth, sucking in a steady breath before I plunge it inside. “Ohhh,” my soft moan wraps the brush as the tough bristles sink into my gums and teeth. The taste of his cavity-protection toothpaste floods my tongue, and below my waist, everything goes a little haywire. The brush is still damp from use, and still carries lingering traces of him on it. I suck it, minty liquid running onto my tongue from the bristles, and any traces of him left behind… I swallow. I keep the brush pinched in between my molars as I slowly get undressed.
After a moment of bliss, I slide out of bed and redress, keeping Hud’s toothbrush in my mouth. I’ll be sucking on it all day, as I always do the first day I have it. It’s still fresh with him
Slipping into the hall, I peer around the corner to make sure no one else is headed this way. When the coast is clear, I gently press my ear to the door, and nudge it open just a sliver. The tiniest of slivers. The sound of him tugging down his fly has me losing my fucking mind, I swear, so I cup my hand to my mouth to hold in the drool and moans.. I’ve never heard him touch the zipper on his jeans until today. The zipper that keeps his cock tucked away. The infamous zipper that gatekeeps everything I want inside me. Then it happens. His stream starts, and my entire body incinerates. I’m not into piss, or at least, I never have been before. And certainly, I’ve never been turned on by my or anyone else’s body’s ability to produce and eliminate waste. But listening to Hudson piss is a cathartic, holy moment. The stream is powerful and heavy, causing me to drop my hand from my mouth to my stomach, applying pressure to satiate the immediate wanton ache the noise puts inside me.
The last five years, I was so certain. So sure. Every Google search, every time I tailed his truck, hid in the alley and watched him get his hair trimmed at the barber, read all the books on his shelves to understand what he likes, kept track of what foods he ate most to know his favorites, made a list of places he avoided and even kept track of what jeans and boots he wore and when to understand his laundry cycle. Everything I’ve done has been to learn every detail about the man I love so that when he sees me, I’m ready for him. ☝🏽Those are just some 😂😂make no mistake Dolly isn't playing when it comes to her man.
********* No cheating Hudson was married when they first met but she was a teenager After his wife left it doesn't seem he was with anyone else, he says it's been a long time and Dolly lives literally next door I think she'd notice him leaving for a date or a woman coming over..... she'd probably have killed somebody too. 🫣 Hudson went on dates with fake ass Tiffani who disappeared after the beat down 🤔. He tried with her for his sister's sake Dolly was a technical virgin Hudson was a single parent, we don't see the ex Dolly is 20 and Hudson is 38
Hahahahahaha shit this was insane. There’s no other words. It was hectic AF. I’ve never read a more OTT FMC but good on Daisy Jane for going there but WOW.
This was a sloooooooow burn, and like lowkey slow? I feel like a lot of the book was the characters thinking about each other, barely interacting but Dolly doing crazy shit in his house or hanging out with his kid? lol I dunno. It was hilarious though and I probably wouldn’t wanna be on Dolly’s bad side; she might break my nose or stab my car tyres with a fork? She’s wild and unhinged hahahaha.
Honestly, this book has been in my tbr for a while and I was curious about him. I have to say, thank God I finally read it, I didn't know what I was missing. This was so good, it was everything I needed. There aren't many books where the FMC is the stalker and that was attracted me to this book in the first place. The age gap was the second one and the single father was the third. It was honestly, the perfect combination. Dolly was so unhinged, I loved it. Her love and obsession with Hudson was something else. She loved that man from the first moment she saw him. She knew they were meant to be. And I loved how she loved Bear, his son, it was a total separate thing from her love from Hudson but it was the purest thing. The way Hudson struggle with his feelings, I understood. Their age gap was enormous and he felt like a creep not knowing that was exactly what Dolly wanted. The pace of the book was very good, the secondary characters were fabulous and the s*x scenes were HOT. This book promised and it sure as h*ll delivered
This was deranged sweet & spicy. Her obsession was passionately love. She knew this was her soulmate from the first moment she saw him.
She is switching toothbrushes, slashing tires, rolling in his bed. Despite all of the obsessive behavior i loved that she had genuine love for his son bear. It was beautiful and protective but pure.
I also could not get enough of the support and understanding she gets from her sisters. They always backed her up and were accepting of Dolly.
THIS BOOK Y’ALL! I have never read a book with such an unhinged heroine, but I am obsessed and I seriously cannot wait for the rest of the books in this series.
🖤Single dad 🖤Age gap (18 years) 🖤Obsessed stalker FMC 🖤Small town 🖤Cowboy MMC 🖤”He’s mine” 🖤So much kink 🖤Slow burn
Five years ago when Hudson moves in next door to Dolly and her sisters, Dolly has officially decided that Hudson is hers. And she starts her pursuit of him when she turns 18. Slowly but surely she tries to ingrain herself into his heart. But the ever doting single dad doesn’t even notice.
Not until two years later when the two of them start to get closer. But the age gap between them is causing Hudson is struggle with his feelings. But the second that he gives in and Dolly gets exactly what she has been wanting for years, MAN IT IS SO HOT.
These two together are absolutely explosive!! Their chemistry is off the charts and I truly don’t know how they have time for anything else in their day with how much they get it on 🤣
This book has everything from “he”s mine” to “good girl” to fisting to c0ckwarming to soaking. It’s all there and all SO hot!
The side characters, especially both of their siblings, brought so much depth to their story. I loved the friendship between Hudson and his brother in law Deuce. I loved his support and his encouragement and just their hilarious conversations!
But one of the sweetest parts of this book is Dolly’s relationship with Hudson’s son Bear. Holy sweetness. I loved their authentic love for each other. Dolly is the mother that he’s never had without even really trying. There is a part in this book that absolutely solidified her motherliness for him and it had me tearing up a bit.
The sisters books are the next two and I can’t wait!!
Dahlia or Dolly always loves fiercely, she went from replacing her obsession with Henry Cavil to his hunky neighbor, Hudson Gray. Thirty seconds into meeting him, she knows that he’s her future husband. The only thing is, she’s just 15 and he has a wife and baby on the way. But that doesn’t deter her, she doesnt mind waiting, and wait she did…
⁀➷ “So let me have you.”
OMG, what in the world did I just read? Dolly is clearly deranged and unhinged, but I love it! A lot of things that she does will make you roll your eyes, or make your stomach churn, I will never look at my toothbrush the same again (definitely not gonna buy the red one EVER). This is my first time reading a female stalker, and I find it really interesting, but at the same time, just like Hudson, I’m in awe of how fierce she loves. And Hudson, try as he may, he can’t help but be attracted to her, I mean if your stalker is a gorgeous woman, I guess you will be into it, he’s a lucky bastard and he knows it.
⁀➷ “Fuck, I love your filthy, twisted mind.”
The slow burn is insane, my heart is aching for Dolly during the Tiffani saga, the poor girl’s heart! Also, the way she genuinely loves Bear, not as part of her obsession with Hudson, is beautiful. I understand that this may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I was so into it! I enjoyed my time reading it and devoured this in one sitting. And the spice! Holy Molly, you get them late in the game, but it was spicy as hell, and fisting? WOW🔥 I’m loving Daisy Jane’s writing more and more, and I cannot wait for the other sister’s book. If you wanna try something different, might as well pick this up.
⁀➷ “Your love is so fierce, I’m flattered and in awe of you, Dolly,”
This was a wild fucking time. Dolly is our unhinged FMC who has been stalking her hot older neighbor Hudson since she was 15.. she is 20 and he is 38 after the time skip.
Listen y’all… I will never look at a red toothbrush the same again.
I was so excited to get this book as an ARC and it did not disappoint!! What intrigued me most was that our heroine was the obsessive stalker, which never happens in books and I was here for it! Dolly is in the best way unhinged. Dolly has been in LOVE with her neighbor Hudson for years and has been patiently planning (orchestrating) and waiting for him. Hudson was burned by his ex wife and hasn't dated since she left him with their newborn. Bear is an adorable little boy who Dolly helps take care of. Dolly's feelings for Bear are very really and Dolly fiercely protects their relationship. The book explores kinks/smut in the best way -toothbrush anyone? 😉 Daisy Jane is able to weave the spicy scenes in that just flow with the story.
i've nothing against age gap romances...in fact i like them...but this is by far the most disgusting shit i've ever read!! the dialouges...the writing...just ewww!!
Stars are for the fmc because she was UNHINGED and she had me cackling with her behaviour. Also absolutely loved her sisters, they were ride or die. So supportive of each other in the most unhinged way. No judgement just blind loyalty to each other, love to see it.
They don’t get together until like 78% of the book. Then it’s mostly spice for the rest of the book but tbh not even good spice it was so over the top and random.
Way too much time wasted on the OW- Mmcs sister set him up with an old college friend and pushed him into dating because she was getting married and didn’t want her brother to be alone anymore. They went on a couple dates and apart from a few hugs it never said that they even kissed or anything. He went along with it because he started to notice the fmc and felt wrong about the age gap so he just let his sister railroad him into dating her friend even though he didn’t like her. And then to let the ow babysit his kid just came so out of the blue considering how much of a good dad he was. Ow was in the picture til just over 50% if I recall correctly.
He wasn’t alpha enough for my liking, obviously the fmc is the stalker in the book so she’s the main pursuer of the relationship but I wanted more from him.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
3.5⭐️ omg! Dahlia (Dolly) is so obsessed it was crazy, but seemed the norm for her family and no really took it as odd behavior- So reading this book you have to dispel some disbelief in social norms. But… it was pretty sweet the way she did love deeply. She seemed like a really kind and sweet person - as long as you were a good person too 😳 if you know you know!
I’m going to read more from this author. I really like her writing and the emotion I felt when reading this story!
What to Expect: • Obsessive Stalker FMC • Age Gap • Cowboy MC • Single Dad MC • "He's MY soulmate" • Slight OW Drama (No Cheating) • A Scene Involving a Fist
I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this book and come call her a stalker or say she's unhinged but Daisy would rightfully say she's not crazy she's just passionate and there's a clear difference. I loved that the female was the stalker/overly obsessed one because it's usually the men who are unhinged so seeing it from a woman's POV was amazing and let me say her "passion" knew no bounds, her level of depravity God it was good...... no it was amazing. From the beginning of the book when they (Hudson and Dolly) first met, that first interaction you could already tell there was a spark between them an instantaneous connection and I loved how their relationship wasn't rushed but was more of a game of patience and the slow burn was top tier in my opinion, getting to watch Daisy pine over the love of her life - the man she fiercely considered to be her soulmate and Hudson grappling with right and wrong, indulge or not to indulge in the girl next door, his Dolly and being witness to that made the evolution of their relationship and finally seeing them finally so special. Now that I've read about Daisy I can't wait to read about her sisters
I got this sent as an e-arc so thank you to the author and the author agency for it This book comes out April 12th
This was a solid read and I had a lot of fun with it, I genuinely really enjoyed it though I will say certain plot was anticlimactic and didn’t need to be there (Tiffani) and while I appreciated the slow burn element of the story once they got together and the spice got spicing I lost interest 😂😭 I never thought I would say this but I didn’t need spicy scenes back to back that happen to be half the chapter long, you can make them shorted if you do want to add a lot of them please, I just needed this book to be over because of how repetitive and fed up I was by the end of it all. It did feel like that last 15% just dragged on and it was never ending lol but besides those issues like I said I did quite enjoy this book, it truly did surprise me. I feel like me being at times a dark romance reader I might have needed a murder or two but you know it’s fine 😂 I like I said quite enjoyed this book and quite liked Dolly our main character and her passionate personality and her stalker tendencies that came from a place of love, I also quite liked the bond she had with little Bear and I did like Hudson our LI too, he was sweet and such a good dad and also the man and spice 🤭 I also appreciated Hudson sister and her husband though I will say the first half of the book my patience was tested and I did get a bit fed up but regardless I did appreciate them and I think I also appreciated the almost mundane feel to the book and story as mundane as staking can be outside of dark romance and in a contemporary setting but I had fun and I’m intrigued to see what else this author has written given that this was my first book by her. So overall a solid read, I genuinely thoroughly enjoyed it, a really good read and I do recommend
