When I fell in love with Iliana Xander’s debut novel, Love, Mom, earlier this year, I had my fingers crossed that she’d stay on my list of new favorite authors. Well, I’m happy to report that she has definitely cemented herself there with her new heart-stopping stunner, All Eyes on Him. Propulsive, witty, and the definition of the perfect popcorn thriller, it had me absolutely spellbound from the first gripping page until the soul-satisfying conclusion. You see, not only was the plot as twisty as it was clever, but the characters ran the gamut from endearing to despicable. That being said, the storyline was still my favorite part of this unputdownable novel. With one gasp-inducing twist after the other coming out of thin air, the execution was on point, and even included a shocking *mic drop* moment in the middle.
All said and done, it’s clear that Ms. Xander has done it yet again. From the delicious dark secrets to the ominous atmosphere, every step in this book had me won over completely. When I say that, I swear I’m not exaggerating in the slightest. You see, not only did the short, addictive chapters keep me in the dark the entire time I was reading, but the unnamed narrator and plot-shifting twists delivered a revenge plot for the ages that I definitely won’t be forgetting. With creepy stalker vibes and a well-played game of cat-and-mouse, nothing was as it seemed in this slump-busting thriller. Perfect for fans of the great Freida McFadden or anyone who loves fast-paced, action-packed scenes, you need to grab this book now. Just be prepared to read it cover to cover in one single sitting. Rating of 5 stars.

Thank you, Poisoned Pen Press, for sending me this arc. 🖤✨ I really enjoyed 'Love, Mom,” so I had a feeling I would like this one too.
"All Eyes on Him" was a fun, twisty, completely binge-worthy book. It's full of secrets, and unraveling them was so enjoyable. I loved learning about each character and trying to determine their motives. The plot? Addictive. The twists? So fun. Pacing? Just what I'm looking for in a thriller.
This author is becoming a must-read for me. If you like books by Freida, you'll enjoy these for sure. Quick, easy, unputdownable storylines.
Iliana, you’ve done it again! I could NOT put this book down. Every chapter had me like wait WHAT just happened?! I was reading this at the gym, and I swear people started side-eyeing me because I was reacting out loud. Someone even asked what I was reading—and honestly? I don’t blame them.
The plot? Addicting. The twists? Chef’s kiss. If you’re looking for your next obsession, this is it. Iliana, I don’t know what kind of magic you’re working, but keep it coming!
Natalie’s friend Cara meets a rich handsome man at a bar one night and winds up drugged and in a coma. Natalie gets a job at the guy’s mansion to seek revenge and gets in way over her head. This was a fast paced story that had me glued to the pages. Thanks NetGalley and Poisoned Pen Press for this ARC that will be released in December 2025!

So what’s it about? 👀 When Natalie saw her best friend leaving a club with a handsome stranger, she never could’ve guessed that the next morning her friend would be found unconscious at a bus stop. Now she’s in a coma, and until she wakes up, no one knows what really happened that night.
Desperate for answers, Natalie discovers the man her friend left with is no ordinary stranger — he’s a public figure, recently crowned “Man of the Year.” Wealthy. Famous. Untouchable. Determined to expose him, she takes a job as his housekeeper to dig into his secrets. But when she learns the last housekeeper went missing... she starts to realize she may have just walked into her own trap. 😬
My Thoughts 💭 I devoured this book in less than 24 hours because I had to know where it was going. The premise was solid, the tension was high, and the setup had all the makings of a binge-worthy thriller.
That said… it was chaotic. There were so many moving parts and side characters that it started to feel a little disorganized. I love unpredictable twists and morally gray characters — those are my jam — but here, the cluttered storytelling took away from the suspense that could’ve made this one great.
Final Thoughts 🔎 A fast-paced, twisty thriller with a solid concept and dark intrigue — just not as tightly executed as I hoped. Still, I can absolutely see other readers loving the ride!
It's giving Frieda McFadden if she traded minivans and cabins in the woods for mansions and drama for millionaire mind games. Color me intrigued.
Natalie's your classic ride-or-die: her besty Cara stumbles out of a club with some rich red haired man, ends up comatose at a bus stop, and boom! Natalie's channeling her inner Nancy Drew. Next thing you know, she's got a gig for a "housekeeper" spot at this sprawling mansion determined to make this rich guy pay for putting Cara in a coma.
I sussed some of the big twist pretty early. Never trust a sweet talking man. Still, I mainlined this in one sitting when I should be sleeping.
- Undercover heroine gone rogue (maid by day, sleuth by night) - Morally gray millionaire with a dark secret - Best friend in peril (coma edition) - Isolated mansion full of shady staff - Shifting POVs for maximum whiplash - Cat and mouse with surveillance vibe - Revenge quest meets high-society satire
This was a fast-paced, twisty thriller that kept me engaged and eager to see what would happen next. I enjoyed Iliana Xander’s writing style, the short chapters, and the wittiness of the main character, Natalie. At times the story felt a little chaotic, but overall it was still a really enjoyable read.
When Natalie’s best friend, Cara, leaves a club with a handsome stranger and is later found unconscious at a bus stop, the only person who knows what happened is Cara except she’s now in the hospital, in a coma.
Natalie spots a handsome man on the cover of a financial magazine and immediately recognizes him as the “Man of the Year,” the same stranger Cara left the club with. Determined to get answers, she takes a job at his mansion as a housekeeper, hoping to uncover the truth about what really happened that night.

3.5 ⭐️ | This twisty story about a crypto currency mogul had moments that left me speechless. It truly dove into how greed can make a person do unspeakable things, and the lengths they will go through to keep their secrets buried. I had no idea what to expect from Rosenberg‘s character, and the story definitely took turns as a story unfolded.
I enjoyed the multiple POV‘s. Throughout this story, Natalie played a dangerous game to try and find out what happened to her friend Cara. Her resilience was refreshing, although at times I felt as if she bit off more than she can chew. Overall an enjoyable read! Thank you Poisoned Pen Press and NetGalley for an advanced reader copy. All opinions are my own.
This is a new found author for me and this is book 2 I have been able to read and so far we are 2 for 2! This is a great read it will suck you into the story and keep you hooked! The female lead’s witty banter is comical and refreshing. That’s one thing I loved about both books, the writing style. I do have a bit of advice. Keep the prologue fresh in your mind. When the bombs start dropping so will your jaw. Bravo on this story! And thank you to the author herself for providing me with this ARC and trusting me to leave an honest review. If you are looking for something fast paced and mind blowing you can’t go wrong giving her a try!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 ALL EYES ON HIM by Iliana Xander When Natalie’s best friend and roommate, Cara, is found unconscious and slips into a coma, her world flips upside down. Determined to uncover what happened, Natalie starts tracking down the mysterious guy Cara left the club with the night before. What she finds? A dark, twisty psychological thriller that pulls her and the reader, straight into paranoia, doubt, and danger. Who can she trust? Who should she trust? The tension builds beautifully, and the twists had me questioning everything right up until the end. This was my first read from Iliana Xander, and I was hooked by her writing style, short, addictive chapters and shifting POVs that kept the pace flying. And that ending? Chef’s kiss. Every puzzle piece clicks into place perfectly. Huge thank you to @poisonedpenpress and @ilianaxander.author for this ARC in exchange for an honest review. ‼️ Book Review All Eyes On Him - Iliana Xander ARC - publish date December 2, 2025 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
When I tell you this book gripped me from page one - I mean it. All Eyes on Him by Iliana Xander is the kind of thriller that doesn’t let up for a single second.
⚡ Fast-paced? Absolutely. 🌀 Repetitive? Not even a little. 💋 Characters? Likable, layered, and so easy to root for (even when they’re in way over their heads).
Natalie’s determination to uncover the truth had me holding my breath more than once. Between the high-gloss setting, the dark secrets, and that simmering “is he or isn’t he?” tension; this one scratched the thriller itch. 👀
If you love morally gray men, bold heroines, and cat-and-mouse stories where no one is safe… add this to your list immediately. 🖤
✨ Huge thank you to Iliana Xander, Poisoned Pen Press, and NetGalley for the digital copy in exchange for my honest review!
✨ Rating: 2.5 ⭐️ 🫧 Vibes: undercover woman in danger 🎶 Song: man down - rihanna 📖 Favourite Quote: "Sometimes, closure is knowing that other people won't get hurt in the future, and that's a big thing." 📚 Would I recommend? not really. 💬 tldr thoughts: this one is just not for me.
In the package: 📦 fast-paced 📦 mystery 📦 secrets
Plot: After her best friend ends up in the hospital in a coma, Natalie accepts a job as a housekeeper to get close to the man who almost killed her friend.
Thoughts: Well this one was a bust. I absolutely loved this author's debut novel, "Love, Mom" but this one was so disappointing. The plot was predictable, the FMC was beyond annoying and just so stupid. She wouldn't listen to anyone and she was so stubborn. Also is there anything worse than a crypto dudes?! I just kept picturing Elon Musk 🤢 I did not want to read about that. Everyone in this book was so secretive but the way they went about it was just irritating which didn't make this a fun read.
I read Love, Mom and enjoyed it so much that I had to read another book by this author! Man of the Year is also a good book! Boy, the main character Natalie know how to attract trouble! What is supposed to be a 3 day housekeeping job has turned out to be a catalyst to figure out more about this “Man of the Year”. Nothing is as it seems, and I love the ending!! I can’t believe this author has only published 2 books!!
Are we sure this same author who wrote Love, Mom wrote this book? Because it’s so bad 🫣 like worse than FreidaFry’s writing. I loved the plot but .. just yeah. Great plot!
I fucking DNF’d at 90%. I literally just didn’t care anymore.
You’re telling me this happened over 3 days? You see a girl assaulted, hear a gun shot go off in the house and you still go back?? And you DON’T call the police?
Love, Mom was amazing and actually made me cry but this read like an AI wrote it
this was so much funnnnnn!!! i just love her writing! it’s so easy and quick to read which is something you sometimes just need!
going into this i didn’t expect a masterpiece and it wasn’t but it was so much fun! i could see this be such a good movie. i also just love the endings this woman writes. just so satisfying 😋😋😋
ALL EYES ON HIM BY ILIANA XANDER. Release date set for the 2nd of December 2025 5 ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨s. This book is brilliant. You get hooked straight away with this book. Such an addictive read. Short chapters and UNPUTADOWNABLE. I'm looking forward to seeing what other books this author brings out.
I'm really impressed with the two psychological thrillers this author has published thus far (this one and Love, Mom). Just a bit darker and with a wee bit more violence than Freida McFadden's thrillers.
3 besties are as close as sisters then one dies (natural causes) leaving the 2 girls who have settled near NYC. Cara and Natalie are having a night out at a bar when Cara thinks she has found Mr Right who happens to be a very wealthy crypto currency entrepreneur. They leave the bar together and then Natalie learns Cara is in the hospital in a coma. She sets out to try to learn more about the man Cara left the bar with and finds his picture on a magazine cover cover with the notation that he is the "Man of the Year." The twists and turns and plot development will keep you turning pages until the end.
I finished only bc WiFi wasn’t working at the hospital and I couldn’t download another book.
That was so bad.
1) why do you have a pet rat 2) main character was so annoying and cringe. Are you almost 30 or are you 17? 3) uhhh you don’t call your BFFs parents to tell them she is in a coma? 4) i wanted to DNF and I’m sad I didn’t 5) lame plot lame story lame characters
i was sooooo excited for this. mainly because "love, mom" was such an amazing book, i had high hopes for this one. alas, this was just SO messy and super boring. i did not like the story at all and everything was just so stupid. a waste of my time for sure
Natalie’s best friend Cara leaves a club with a wealthy man and ends up at a bus stop unconscious. Now she is in the hospital in a coma. Cara mentioned he was wealthy, but nothing more. Natalie is determined to find out the identity of the wealthy man whom she only glanced at. And guess what? She noticed a picture of him on a magazine. She is convinced that “The Man of the Year” on the cover is the person she saw her friend with. Determined to question him, she is hired as one of his housekeepers. The presence in the house is tense and there’s something ‘off’ with the staff. One of them is missing under suspicious circumstances and nobody is talking. Natalie’s persistence at trying to get close to the millionaire and wiggle her way to be trusted with the staff slows when she stumbles on the evidence she is looking for. Or so she thinks. Short chapters push a fast pace with twists and surprises along the way that keep this mysterious and guessing until the end.
Natalie is an interesting character, snarky with an attitude. She grew on me and suspending belief makes this a good thriller!
Thank you NetGalley and Poisoned Pen Press for an early copy.
I received this through netgallsy when PoisonPenPress released it. I grabbed it because I think this author has some promise to be a great thriller writer.
Very same vein as a Freida vibe. That said, the prologue of this book, kicks things off great really grips you in. Then the story starts with Natalie essentially trying to get revenge on someone who put her friend in a coma The man who did it is labeled "man of the year" so she infiltrates her way into his life to get answers.
What happens from there is a pretty face paced story. There were alot of characters to keep track of, which at times could get a bit confusing. The ending felt a bit predictable, and lost a bit of steam in my honest opinion. However, if you enjoy twisty fast paced thrillers, this would be good to check out. As I am interested to see where she goes as an author, I think she has great promise.
This book isn't for me. The narrative has a lot of glaring inconsistencies and I do not share the author's world view. Nothing takes me out of a book more than dog whistle after dog whistle, no matter who they're screaming at.
Thank you to Iliana Xander, Poisoned Pen Press, and NetGalley for an accessible digital arc of ALL EYES ON HIM. All views are mine.

looking for a page turner that will leave your heart beating fast and your head spinning.. look no further. Freida fans need to runnnnn and grab this because it’s a solid popcorn thriller with wild turns and you’ll DEVOUR this one too 🍿
Natalie’s best friend is in a coma. She saw her leaving a club with a handsome stranger, and the next day she’s barely holding on to her life. With luck- Natalie finds a photo of the handsome man on the cover of a magazine labeled Man of the Year- and desperate for answers, decides to take up a job as his housekeeper in order to get close to him.
I haven’t read this author’s first book yet, but I’m planning on getting to it soon. I remember it BLOWING UP on bookstagram, and I have no doubt that this one will do the same 🖤
A fast paced, mysterious read that will keep you on your toes and speeding through the chapters. This one is a wild ride from beginning to end. If you love a stalker/corrupt billionaire/sneaking around the house vibe this one is definitely for you. I read this in one sitting and recommend it to fans of thrillers!
I had high hopes after reading Love, Mom but this one was a bust for me. I skipped paragraphs towards the end because I just wanted it to end. The main character was completely unbelievable. No one is that dumb.
