genuinely this series makes me so ill. went to bed at 3 in the morning because i binge read this in its entirety i just couldn’t put it down. incredible
i clicked on this because of a suggestive panel i saw that had me 👀 and i did not expect how much i was going to enjoy this. you’re THROWN into this zombie apocalyptic fantasy world as you slowly try and figure out what the hell is going on. the plot is actually insane i lost my mind so severely 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫 the plot twists were CRAZY. as i kept reading each chapter, i was going haha this is going to have a happy ending right…full of hope and trepidation as i read further and further. truly batshit balls to the walls insane (i’m reeeally trying to scour my daily vernacular for words that can illustrate the roller coaster of emotions this series entails.)
character wise? honestly i love hana <3 shoutout to insane women who are evil mad scientists. and our two main characters in this..gooood fucking shit..(people who would burn the world for the only person they care about yeah no fucking wonder those are my three faves.) everyone else needs to die idc idc i can’t say anything else without heavy spoilers like not even the names of our main couple but just know they make me fucking sick in the head. this entire series makes me fucking sick in the head!!!!!!!!!!
finally, the art is so gorgeous to meee the style is soooo deliberate with its use of color in this mainly black and white art it’s SOOOOOOOOOO delicious. i have so many panels saved just because they’re so incredible to meeeee.
anyway no other yaoi could probably come close to the critique on eugenics, capitalism, and labor exploitation set in the most intense plot heavy zombie apocalyptic fantasy yaoi that i enjoy.
I binged the series. Volume by volume it wouldn’t have been as good since the suspense and mystery would have been taken away when time makes you forget them.
Storyline 10/10 Characters 9/10 Artwork 10/10
As a series it was dark, but well written. You feel for the history and future of the two main characters while feeling disappointed in how the world around them has shaped and twisted their personalities.
The only reason I gave the characters 9/10 is simply because I feel many people won’t understand their perspective. Many people put their own values and morals onto characters not looking at how they might actually be the way they are due to the storyline.
The artwork, although mostly black and white, is gorgeous.
The pacing was so slow - in a good way - in this volume that I was starting to wonder if I was correct that it was the final one. I won't provide spoilers about the ending, although it's genuinely the best conclusion it could have while being true to its overall message. Which was...intense, honestly. A lot of hard-hitting messages all coming to a head as Lima wrestled with how to live the rest of his life.
This is an apocalyptic story to read in a kind of apocalyptic world, and while I don't know if I can say that I found it hopeful, there's a gritty beauty to it. And how do you define hope, anyway? By saving humanity - and sacrificing much of it in the process, for some "greater good" - or simply by living the best life you can, with the happiness you've found?
Lima is such a good character. It's so interesting how expectations got entirely twisted along the way, with Sak initially seeming like "the good guy" and eventually turning into the sociopath who was one second away from destroying the entire world if he hadn't fallen in love with his caller.
Whether the connection was fabricated or not - or simply strengthened through artificial means - the love itself was real, in the end. Sak made the kind of human connection that'd been cut off from him - first because he was too different from everyone else, and then because he was a useful tool to be manipulated.
Lima was the only one who'd ever treated him like a real, whole person, and who loved him even harder once he found out his true nature. (Not his power - his personality and the heartlessness at his core.)
This was genuinely such a fascinating story. It ended up making me think of Little Mushroom, which is similarly devastating but also incredibly beautiful.
I need to read something a lot more cheerful after this, or I'll stew in it for too long. But it's a beautifully told story that's meant to make you think.
I can’t put into words how this final volume made me feel. I am SO SO SO GLAD it was a happy ending but at what cossssst I’ve been crying over them for HOURS I need more of them. I’m so glad I’ve read this series, I’ve been through an amazing, emotional, and stressful journey with them and I hate to have this series finish, I don’t want to leave them. I was filled with laughter, hatred, sadness, happiness, giddiness, and so many other deep emotions that I can’t honestly express, I just absolutely love this series so much and I’m upset it doesn’t get enough attention, like the artstyle, the writing, the details (the story was SO interesting hello??) the emotional and intimate touching in stressing situations is so incredible. If you have trouble deciding if you want to read this, READ THIS!! It’s so so worth it!
(Also this was my first ever long manwha and I’m surprised I had the patience for a manga with 82 chapters😭 but I got through it! So proud of myself! I’ll definitely be reading more!)
Un final agridulce pero que resalta mucho el intenso amor que se tienen, a pesar de todas las oposiciones, están juntos porque quieren estarlos y están dispuestos a enfrentar un futuro incierto viviendo cada minuto como si fuera el último junto

"Radio Storm" by Team S&S is visually stunning and well-produced, with great attention to detail in its transition from webtoon to print. However, the story didn't resonate with me as much as I'd hoped. It's an enjoyable read, but it didn't leave a lasting impact.
4.5 Stars "And when the time comes for us to draw our final breaths. Let the last one be filled with nothing but you." Okay thank you for hitting me right in the feelings. This was such a good series. I could not put it down. what a wonderful conclusion.
A Post-Apocalyptic world where the military are testing on humans with powers to try and stop the zombie outbreak. While you would think they’re the good guys trying to save the world, that is the farthest from the truth you could get.
