The “bible” for LASER physics

Many deem this the bible of laser physics; which is apt because it aims to unify a canon where none of the sources can agree on what to call anything or how present ideas. While it is favored by most, it is still not definitive, and instead simply stands as one of many texts which are mutually unintelligible.
