Cody does it again, every book and video he makes just motivates you to go lift obnoxiously heavy bags of sand and damn it all I’m already neck deep with 5 Cerberus bags and around 1000lbs of sand in my garage.
This book focuses on the single all out set of high rep sandbag box squat he shows in his YouTube videos and I gotta say I’m excited. I often struggle to feel motivated to work legs with barbell squats given the spinal loading of my 6’6” frame making the long term usage of the modality precarious in my mind. Sandbags feel different and now with both of his books I think I’m solidly set with both upper and lower body programs to my satisfaction.
