It’s time. Time to tell the truth. Time to face her past and step into her future.

Starting with Van.

Cory will wait to the beat of the ticking clock for him to come back. To see what she’s done and make the final judgment. As much as she holds onto the small hope that he’ll still want her, she’s ready for rejection, ready for the pain. As ready as she can be, at least.

It’s time to make things right, not only with Van, but with Jill. With Jade. With everything.

No more running.

I was the kid who stayed inside to read.

As a four-eyed nerd with a bad perm, I was no one’s dodgeball pick, but I had a lot of friends. Frodo and Bilbo, for instance. Kristy, Stacey, Claudia and the gang (iykyk). Once, in the third grade, I wrote a teen murder mystery inspired by Christopher Pike. On solving my mystery in twelve pages, I decided I was a terrible writer and should never, ever do that again.

Fortunately, I didn’t take my own advice.

I write romance for that feeling you get at the end, like you’re standing on top of a mountain with a backpack full of hundred dollar bills. I write romcoms because is there anything better than banter and grand gestures? I write because I love to create and I love words. I love books, and I love stretching my imagination. I love love, and if you do too, bring your coffee and have a seat. I think we’re gonna be friends.

Really great ending to what has turned out to be a fab little serial.

It's time for Cory to face the music, she has come clean to her sister and now it's time to face Van. Although she has a small amount of hope that he will accept what she did to him, she is ready to walk away and let him get on with his life without her in it. If there is one thing she has learnt, it's that she wants to be a better person, and live a life without crime.

Meanwhile her and the other girls decide that Jade and Jace have to pay for their sins, and they come up with a plan to bring them down.

Van does not make things easy for her and she is miserable, she runs in order to exhaust herself but she can't move on until she can finally explain to him why she betrayed him and that he is the last person she would ever want to hurt.
_ _ _ _

I really loved both Van and Cory, Van loved unconditionally and helped Cory grow as a person and help her see that underneath her hard exterior, she was a good person who only did the things she did because she cared about her sister.

"You're good, Cory. Even when you're bad."

I loved reading about the parkour and how they used free running as a way to relieve stress and become free, and how they saw Manhattan in a way that no-one would ever get the chance to see under normal circumstances.

"He took my hand, and we ran.
And as I followed him through the city, the cage around my heart opened as far as the hinges would allow."

Overall, this was a fantastic 3 part serial that I would recommend.

After finishing book 2...I couldn't wait to start book 3.....I was dying to know what would happen between Van and Cory after that major cliffhanger in book 2...needless to say Ms. Hart didn't disappoint me...this was a page turner from the start...filled with angst...humor..and some rather hot bed boogie...I loved how the story wasn't rushed...definitely recommend this series.

“Don’t run from me. Run with me.”

From the moment I started reading Volume 1 I fell in love with this series and once you start reading you really begin to understand just how damn perfect the covers are. I have never come across a book about Parkour or base running as it is known and the way the author describes the activity was absolutely breath taking. I felt the thrill of the run and with the added vivid descriptions and imagery your heart couldn’t help but thump, thump, thump.

By day Cory is a bike messenger, but this is more as a smoke screen because by night she is part of a team of thieves who target electrical stores. These thieves are like no other, they have their MO down a pat and by using Parkour as a means of escape are virtually undetectable and cannot be followed.

Cory was a beautiful character inside and out despite her nocturnal activities. Cory had been running all her life, never feeling loved or fitting in at home, just merely surviving until she was old enough to get out. She always felt like a mistake and her parents made sure she knew it. Cory had nothing to live for until her sister was born and then she became everything. Determined not to let her sister live the life that she had Cory does what she does so that her sister can have the life she didn’t. Cory pays for everything for her sister including her education, hence the activities that she currently finds herself doing.

“What are you running from? My answer: Everything.”

One night while running from their latest heist the crew are all being chased by another gang of Parkours, Cory is really good but the guy on her tail is even better. He eventually runs her down thoroughly impressed by how far and for how long she managed to evade him. With the adrenaline running high these two have one hell of a “on top of a building scene,” seriously hot!! But one time will never be enough and once their paths cross again, neither will be able to look back.

“His body was a silhouette against the lights of the buildings that stretched up around us. He was a god or a superhero, something out of a myth or legend, too good to be true. Too good to be mine.”

Van Collins is a professional photographer and has used his love of Parkour to get some out of this world shots that have elevated him to super stardom, insanely rich, he cannot believe that he has found the perfect woman. Someone that gets him, someone that loves Parkour as much as he does, someone that is just as good at it too and someone that he shares some intense chemistry with.

Knowing the company that Cory keeps you know that the fact he is insanely rich is going to cause problems and when Cory is blackmailed to betray him, huge choices and sacrifices are made.

“You don’t know anything, Van. If you did, you’d never want me. That’s the honest truth.”

I loved the plot of this story, all the characters had their place and reason for being and all played a massive part in this tale. As I said above the way the Parkour is described has you salivating and if I wasn’t my age or build it is something I wouldn’t mind trying…well actually being afraid of heights probably not, but if I didn’t have a fear of heights this is something I would definitely want to do. Seeing a city from a totally different angle than anyone else, the peace and quiet, the burn of the chase, the adrenaline rush all these factors so vividly described that I lived this series.

The romance side between Cory and Van had me swooning, neither character had really opened themselves up to love before and you could really feel their chemistry. From that first scene, you knew what they shared was powerful and I couldn’t help but champion these two along. Just a note Cory was bi before she met Van and there is one small F/F scene in the first book.

“…how I feel about you, how you feel about yourself. I wanted you to fill that space on my wall. In my heart. In my life.”

You certainly find out who your friends are the hard way and this is no different for Cory, I loved the way that the good ones stuck together and helped each other out when times got bad. This is a book about friendships and family, betrayal, forgiveness, second chances and living life to the max. This book is also about love, how when you find “the one” you know and will do anything and everything to make it happen even if your heart rules over your head.

You’re good, Cory. Even when you’re bad.”

This was my first Staci Hart read and it certainly won’t be last. Cannot wait to read what else this author has written. If this serial is anything to go by, I am in for a treat.

In the conclusion of the Hardcore, serial series - Corey tries to right a few wrongs, even if she knows that it might not change anything. But her days of stealing are over. It's cost her way too much. Between battling a broken heart and dealing with a crazy Jade, Cory is trying to find a new path to walk, one that hopefully will carry her to Van. If he can ever forgive her or understand her reasons.

I loved the ending of this series. I loved seeing Cory grow up a bit and realize that she still had hope for a better life, that she deserved it.

If you're looking for an exciting read, this is series you should check out. I loved the writing and the theme of this series. Cory ended up being a very likable heroine, which is are and Van was easily loved. I had originally started this to get a quick fix of Hart's writing as I await her next book and I think my plan backfired. It did not hold me over - it just made me want her next book more!

To say that I loved this book is an understatement. The ending couldn't have been more perfect ahhh! Just thinking about it has me giddy inside.

Staci Hart has blown me away. She has become my go-to author. The one I must one-click her books always and forever! She’s just cool like that.

Two words: That letter. I found myself going back to that letter and rereading it at every turn. It held a piece of my heart and at the same it broke a piece of it as well. Gosh darn it, I shed some tears over THAT. LETTER.
Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Cory. She has become one of my favorite heroines. She’s a fierce woman, who had to do the unthinkable to protect the one person she loved most in the world, her sister. Her road to redemption will sweep you off your feet. I grew to appreciate her so much as she grew throughout the series.

Van. This man is perfect. Even when he was betrayed, even when Cory ruined his trust, he still found it within himself to forgive her for what she did. He loved her unconditionally and he made her feel free… alive, for the very first time. He chose her.

“You hurt me because you had no choice, and what you did never changed how I felt about you, not at the heart of it, even when I wished it had. I want you because I do. I can’t explain it and I don’t want to. I don’t need to.”

This book will take you on a thrilling ride where your emotions will soar just like parkouring through buildings. This was one great mini series I won’t soon forget. Thank you, Staci, for your brilliance!

This was the perfect end to the Hardcore serial. Cory comes clean with Van, divulging not only what she did, but who she really is, despite the inevitable consequences.
And boy are those consequences heartbreaking, rip-me-to-pieces style with a dash of salt for good measure.
What is really fantastic about this volume is, as all the other issues begin to wrap up--problems with Jade and Jace, the honesty with Jill--we get to see Cory's real strength. She grows, moves past the walls she'd confined herself in for years, and pushes toward a new life with her 'family.'
I don't want to give any more away, but I will say that Van does something for Cory that is so flipping awesome, it made me want to climb my own house and do a back flip.
Loved it!

Pretty good ending, although I was waiting for something bad to happen like the girls plan to have Jade and Jace take the fall.

It felt kind of perfect, but life is sometimes just that easy.

And Van, I love Van and his name. You should totally meet him!

The relationship with Erin, whatever kind it was was confusing but I felt like didn't really end. I just wanted to know how it ended.

But besides that, I enjoyed this little serial.

Staci Hart does it again with Hardcore Vol 3 as she brings this mini series to an end. And what an ENDING! Just like it's predecessors, this short story was no different.

To say I was on edge would be a mild observation. I was hanging off the freaking cliff by a thread, at least that's what it felt like. My anxiety was through the roof as felt Cory's emotions as my own.

"He made me feel connected and grounded when I’ve spent my whole life running away."

Cory, my gosh love. This character is strong even when she is weak. She finds strength from deep inside to do what is right, even when she knows it could cost her everything. Watching her come to terms with everything she has done was beautiful to watch. Her transition could be seen vividly and reminded me of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

"I cried until the emotion had washed over me like a tsunami, flattening everything as it retreated. It was rebirth. Creation from destruction. And in the aftermath, I found peace."

Van, he is so perfffff. I love him and I have since he followed her that night and then proceeded to send himself a package just so he could see her again. This man is forgiving, and he helped Cory see who she was inside. He showed her that she was worth fighting for. One thing I will say about this mini series is I always craved more of Van. I felt connected to him just as much as I did with Cory, but I wanted his POV all up and through this book. I realize this was about Cory's journey, I just would have loved to have seen Van's struggles as he also came to terms with what Cory had not only done to him, but done all her life.

"When I met you, I found myself. It was like coming up for air for the first time after a lifetime of drowning."

Together these two are simply amazing. Thank you Staci Hart for creating two characters worthy of each other! Their chemistry is still fiery, banter still cheeky, and their love is powerful enough to still exist after everything.

"We were doomed from the start, but somehow, here we are."

5 DELICIOUS ICE CREAM STARS!

If you skim reviews: If you like a story about redemption, solid writing, and solid banter, then give this a shot. Be warned, it is an intense emotional rollercoaster. I love a good ending!

*****J’adore/Nous Adorons: World-changing, we could not put it down even if we dared to try. And, we might just read it again. We would recommend it to anyone.

The entire time my emotions are like this:
anxious-brief hope-smashed hope-acceptance-anger-some peace-angst-anger-satisfaction-nerves-satisfaction-anger-peace-angst-more angst-BAM
Best. Ending. Ever.

1. Characters: "Do we care?". Duh. Everyone is such a mess. Cory is on her road to redemption. Jade is... well fuck jade. Van is dealing with all this bull, but he's so hawt. I love him. Erin is just being a great friend. Jill is growing. It's a great ending dude. SO GREAT.

Development. THIS IS THE FINAL COUNTDOWN. So much gets cleaned up in this final piece. It's awesome. Everything you want will happen in this book. It wraps up everything. Van is.. AHH! Fuck that bitch Jade, but really.

Relationships between characters. Staci really knows how to show character dynamics. Erin and Cory slay as besties. Erin is a kick as friend. Jill & Cory: Momma bear! I'm so glad that they have each other. Cory & Van: So much angst. So great. I now want ice cream. Also that closet scene! BAM. Cory & Jade: Sweet sweet victory. Fuck Jade.

2. Plot: "World-building" I could easily visualize everything.

"Did it hold our interest?" Yes. There was no skimming for me. Each thing I read from her is better and better.

3. Plausibility: Can we suspend our sense of reality while we read these and still have it make sense? Yeah, of course.

4.Pure entertainment value. GRAND GESTURE TO END GRAND GESTURES. REDEMPTION. LOVE. FRIENDSHIP. SISTERHOOD. ICE CREAM. DO IT!

Also: Fuck Jade.
Also: BEST GRAND GESTURE EVER.

My Review:
I'm not even sure where to start, this entire series was just a big WOW to me since I don't normally read erotica, I thought I was going to be disappointed but knowing Staci like I do she totally spun a tale that was not only amazing but the sex parts were done so well.

The series end was just...fantastic...I thought this book has a lighter feel to it and wasn't as intense as the first two volumes but after going through the emotions with the characters in the beginning it was nice to be able to have things get wrapped up in a not to intense but still emotional way. I don't want to give anything away but if you read my first two reviews you would have noticed I had some issues with Cory however, she changed a lot in this book and I found myself liking her even more now that she is finally coming out of her shell and Van is still a really nice guy but as much as I thought Cory didn't deserve Van I realize they might be perfect for each other. Wait...does that mean they got back together? Haha I'll never tell you have to read the book.

Once again I wasn't sure coming into this series but I found it to be fantastic and can't stop recommending it to anyone and everyone that is looking for that next great read. I love Staci's writing and once again she proves to me why she is one of my favorite authors.

Thank you so much for stopping by to check out my review

Hope you have a great day and Happy Reading!

Last night, I ended up reading both Volume Two and Volume Three of Hardcore, so because I'm going to have trouble separating my review of the last 2/3rds of the series, I'm just going to do one combined review and post it under both Volume Two and Volume Three. Because of that, this may contain minor spoilers for Volume Two, so just keep that in mind.

After finishing Volume One, I wrote a pretty much rave review of it, and gave it four stars. I was so excited to get to the next two parts, and they were almost as good as I was anticipating. Now that I've read all three volumes, I would definitely say that the first one was my favorite, and then I'd probably give the second part a 3.5, with the third part getting 3 stars.

My biggest problem with this series is that I just could not connect with the relationship between Cory and Van. They weren't actually together that much throughout the story, and instead spent most of the time pining away for each other and reminiscing about the few short moments they'd had. Their instant connection was unbelievable and unrealistic in my opinion. I couldn't understand why they just couldn't forget each other and move on...what about their initial time spent together was so unbelievable that they would go through so much so that they could be boyfriend and girlfriend.

Even their sex, to me, was only so-so. I really liked the ice cream scene, but all of the others were instantly forgettable.

I think that I also had a problem understanding Cory and Van because I was totally shipping Cory and Erin the whole time. They were so freaking cute together! I didn't really get their whole "friends with benefits" relationship, because it seemed like they were clearly so much more. I mean, for God's sake, the two slept in the same bed together every night, even when they weren't having sex, and Erin cleans up Cory's puke and wakes her up every two hours after she gets a concussion. I mean, for crying out loud, if that's not LOVE, than I don't know what is.

So, yeah, this series was kind of a disappointment in that way. I'm still kind of pissed that Cory and Erin never realized how in denial they were about their feelings for each other. I would have loved the fuck out of that story.

Another thing that did kind of bother me about this series was how there were multiple characters who were revealed to be completely irredeemable. It's a book pet peeve of mine when characters are 100% evil and no further depth or understanding of them is ever revealed by the author. I just have a hard time wrapping my brain around those kinds of characters, because I really do believe that most of those kinds of people in real life have more to themselves than that. There's two sides to every story, and in Hardcore we really only get the one.

But, regardless, the Hardcore series was still pretty awesome. The romance aspect of it was really only a small part of the story, with much of the time being focused instead on the complicated relationship between the girls, their thieving and how it affected the characters, and the close bond between Cory and her sister.

Like I said in my review of Volume One, I LOVED how parkour was a huge part of this story. Hart wrote those scenes so well, and that aspect never went downhill as the series went on.

Overall, Hardcore was just a really exciting, entertaining, fast-paced read that I very much enjoyed reading. I would definitely read other books by this author in the future, and I'm so glad that I decided to pick these little volumes up.

Shel: Poor Staci Hart, I've been bombing her social media with pleas for this book for weeks and then she sends it and I was in the middle of another book. GAH! As soon as I could I jumped right back into Cory's story...just so happened to be my birthday weekend (happy birthday to me, right?!) Court: Happy Birthday Indeed. I was soooo ridiculously excited to read this book, and it completes the series indeed.

Shel: Vol. 3 picks up right where Vol. 2 ends so there's no huge gap of time where we're trying to figure out what's been happening. No, we are right where we left off--with Cory waiting on Van. It went exactly as she thought it might. Cue hearts breaking. Court: Boo. Boo. Hoo. Sigh. So...yeah. I have nothing to say about this, except you have to read it. It was hard. It was a heart palpitation moment as she was waiting. Whew.

Shel: In all fairness, I don't blame Van; he had valid reasons for what he said and why he said it; and to Cory's credit she didn't wilt--she mourned and started the process of recovery. I thought it was pretty badass that she took this as an opportunity and made some changes. I also loved how badass she was with Jade...wait until you read that part. Court: We always knew from the beginning how strong Cory is...and in this finale I thought that she was definitely bringing herself full circle. She is becoming the woman she wants to be...without the assistance of anyone or anything. So, I was empowered and in awe that this was more her story...and not about any romance at all...which made it all the more romantic to me.

Shel: As the days go by and Cory still can't seem to shake off the last of Van, she makes one bold move to try to free herself from the hurt she was feeling and that move shifts us to the end of the story...an ending I think you'll be pleased with. Court: I do too. This installment was more about the cool down after the first two were about getting to the top of the building in parkour...the second was definitely taking that leap off the damn building...and this one...this is what happens after. So, again...full circle. Good stuff.

Shel: I loved the world that Staci Hart immersed me in. I loved the Parkour aspect. I loved every feature and flaw of Cory. I loved the relationships and the dynamics between the friends and lovers. I loved the thievery and vengeance and repentance. The only thing I didn't love was that it had to end far more quickly than I was ready. I wanted to live in that world for a little while longer; I wanted to know more about who all of these people were. I wanted to inhabit their spaces and their heads and it's all Staci Hart's fault for creating a world that I wanted to escape to. Now that I have a taste for what she can do, I can't wait to go to her other books and read those. Court: I visualized those pictures that Van was taking so vividly...and I wanted to live there too. I love this series with such a passion, because as I said above...Staci created a heroine that we could be. She was tough. She was bitter. She was angry. But she also loved so fiercely, and just tried to be herself in every single minute of the day. That is a person I strive to.

“You were right. I don’t know you at all. You aren’t the girl I thought you were. That girl wouldn’t do something this fucked up.”

Do you ever just get so eager to read something that you abandon your current book just to jump straight into the new one? That was how I felt when Hardcore Vol 3 showed up on my kindle! I have been eagerly awaiting the conclusion to this story ever since I first took a chance on an author I had never read before and I am so glad I did. The Hardcore series is a gripping and raw look into the inner city youth and what is needed to just to survive. Finding love in a place where survival is the mission can be hard . . .but not impossible.

“I trust Jace about as much as I trust a pissed off koala bear.” “Koala Bears are adorable.” “No, they’re rapey assholes cracked out on eucalyptus, and will eat your face off.” “Oh, Well, that definitely sounds a lot more like Jace.”

The drama is at a pentacle in this third and final installment in this series. While Cory’s conscience is clearing a bit after coming clean with the lies and deceit her heart is breaking with the rejection Van deservingly throws at her. She knows she deserves all that is happening but that does not make it hurt less. While I loved watching the story of Van and Cory unfold the high point of this story for me was seeing Jade finally start to get what is coming to her. She is a conniving bitch and I hated her from the moment I met her. Cory has grown so much in just the short span on these 3 books. She has always been a bit selfless, in how she takes care of Jill, but now as she falls in love and sees all that there is to lose she even starts to reconsider the way she has gone about everything.

“He made me feel connected and grounded when I’ve spent my whole life running away. As unstable as my life’s been, he just showed me how to be . . . I don’t know. More.”

Staci does a fantastic job of delivering a story with characters that make you feel, men that make you wet and action that makes your heart race! While I am sad to close the book (lol I love a pun) on Jade and Van I am excited to see what Staci has in store for us next!

~~~~~~~~~~Sharlene's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~
I loved this whole series but I love an HEA so this third installment was my favorite. :) Cory and Van are meant for each other but they both have many things to work out and through before they can be together. Their love of parkour introduced them and eventually bring them back to each other. The characters are complex - some are likable, others you love to hate. The story is easy to read but moves along at a fast pace. Each step that these two take in their journey towards a loving relationship is hard and hopeful. Not as much violence in this installment as their was in the others. More sexual content in the last section of this book than in the whole rest of the series. The setting of the scenes in this book is average. The author gives enough to give you a general idea of what the scene looks like but leaves enough up to your imagination to make it settle better in your head. I love when I learn something from a book that I also enjoy reading. This series taught me about parkouring. If you don't know what it is, go look it up before reading the series. It will help give you a better mental image while reading this series. This book could be read as a standalone but you won't get as much out of it. I recommend reading the first two installments first.
~~~~~~~~~~Dee's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~

Lovely tale with everything falling into place. Cannot not speak about anything specific, it would ruin the surprise. Enjoyed the characters and the choices they made. Karma visited the twins, the detectives found their answers and Cory spoke of her issues with her parents. Of course, Cory and Van discussed their estrangement and everyone moves forward. My only complaint is the story ended too soon with no complications to add angst to the plot. However, this third book was pleasant and well down. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Five Stars.

✯✯4 Hard Stars!!✯✯

After Volume Two ended I was dying to find out what was next. Staci kept me guessing from book one. And, this final book was no different. Every page I was trying to figure out what was next.

W start this off exactly where it ended. Cory has stolen and returned Van's painting. Now, she's waiting to explain everything to him in hopes of Van accepting it. But, wasn't 100% sure he would. Needless to say Van kicks Cory out and doesn't want to ever see her.

The next day Cory and the girls sit down to talk. Every single one of them agree that Jade and her twin brother Jace need to be taken out once and for all. No matter what it takes.

Cory is crushed but wasn't too shocked or surprised about it. Now, she does the next thing to clear her conscience tell her sister Jill everything. That goes better then expected. All Cory has ever done her entire life was take care of Jill and protect her from their horrible parents. Jill agrees to move in with Cory and the girls.

Now, that Cory's sister is safe with her it's time for the final steps. She must do what she has to do if Jade is going to be out of their lives forever. Then, she must make herself happy. And, Van is what makes her happy. Cory will do whatever it takes to finally get Van to listen to the whole story.

I'm not saying anything else. Because, this was a novella and I'd hate to give anything away. But, I will tell you this book was just as hot & steamy as the first 2 were. Being that this was the last in the series all my answers were answered and with a HEA. This series was my first by Staci Hart and I am looking forward to her next book.

Hardcore is now my new favorite serial!

All too often I find myself disappointed in the final installment of serials, they tend to be rushed and lacking to me. But that isn't the case in Hardcore Volume 3. No, this volume delivers the perfect conclusion to Cory's story.

In this volume of Hardcore, it's time for Cory to lay it all out there to Van, everything about her past and the painting. No matter his reaction to her truth, he's made a difference in her life. She wants out of the crime and to live a more honest life; that also means coming clean to her sister, Jill, about where the money came from to pay for her school. I loved seeing Cory's determination to turn her life around and the fact that it was something she was committed to regardless of whether Van forgave her or not. Can you tell I'm trying to avoid giving away his reaction? I will say, he had a very honest response in the beginning.

As for everything else going on in the plot, meaning Jade, well she got what was coming to her. Cory's roommates/friends were so supportive through everything Cory was dealing with, I loved them. This book isn't without its ups and downs and angst but everything gets wrapped up nicely and it's done so without being rushed. It's all set at a satisfying pace and the ending couldn't have been more perfect. Staci Hart knows how to write an intense, emotional, and enthralling story making this serial one I highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this serial, it had heart pounding action, panty melting scenes, great character development and a good story line.

The third and final piece of this story was my favorite. We pick up right where we left off in part two; Cory ready to confront Van with what she is and lay it all out for him. as expected things did not go well. Cory's life as a thief and liar are not easy pills to swallow. But she lifts her head up and moves forward, one step at a time. This part is about her redemption and righting some of her wrongs. While she may be a thief, she is just trying to do what is right. Part of fixing her past is dealing with that witch Jade.

It was nice to see all of the various story pieces wrapped up and at the end you are left satisfied and whole. You find out if Van can forgive her, is their crazy romance strong enough to survive betrayal? Will Jade and Jace get what is coming to them? How will it all work out in the end?

This serial is unique and there is no lack of action; in and out of the bedroom (or roof, floor, counter). There is always something going on and no down time. All of the words written have a purpose to the story. There is no fluff but a lot of meat which is one of the things that I liked best. My only complaint, is that I wanted more. I didn't want to be done or read the words, "the end." I can only hope in the future, maybe we will get the other girl's stories too. It has truly been an honor to be a part of the release of this series and I can't wait to see what the author comes out with next.

I'm not going to lie, I was really scared to read Hardcore Vol. 3. If you read the other 2, than you know why.

The whole time I was rooting for Van, because I knew deep down in my heart that he belonged with Cory. That connection between those two, was real. As a reader, I could feel that! That's exactly what you want, you want to feel all the emotions the characters go through. Besides, Staci Hart toying with my heart ;) She has this magical way of dragging her readers into the story. For example with the Hardcore Vol. 1, 2, and 3:

Cory: Almost all of the story is in her POV, so you can see through eyes, of what she is going through. I guarantee that you will be able to relate to what she is going through. I'm not saying the Parkour, or stealing stuff. But, that feeling of taking care of your family members, that you would do anything to protect that one person. Or, the heartbreak of your first TRUE love.

Van: Since you see him through Cory's eyes, you have this picture of this extremely HOT guy, who has the perfect body, and he is soooooo sweet! He is determined to make Cory his, even if he seems a little stubborn.

I couldn't have wished for the more perfect ending of this story (even though I wish that this isn't the end). It's been almost 24hrs since I have finished it, and I am still dealing with the book hangover. Great job, Staci!!!!!! Can't wait to read more of your books!

Choices define you. Right or wrong. Good or bad. Decisions shape your life and in order to live with the consequences of those actions, you have to own each and every one, learning from it and coping with the results.

Cory James knows that better than anyone heading into the final volume of Hardcore. Cory felt powerless against Jade and her blackmail and now she has to face the fallout of her thievery, which means breaking the heart of the man she has grown to care for and her own. But despite the pain, shame, and loss that Cory feels, she also rebuilds and redefines herself, becoming a more complete person and realizing that sometimes loyalty and sacrifice come at a pretty big price.

I loved how the final volume in the serial focused on Cory’s personal growth first and then worked on repairing her relationship with Van. It was a slow process, which, at times, was a bit frustrating as a reader, but it had to be that way in order for everyone to be able to move forward.

Staci Hart’s Hardcore serial was an absolute pleasure to experience. The idea of freedom through parkour is an intriguing idea and one that is delivered beautifully. It’s refreshing and innovative, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for Staci Hart.

Flat out, Staci Hart writes a kickass story. Fast-paced, full of steam, and undeniably addictive. Cory and Van have had their ups and downs (sometimes literally as they parkour through the city) and their budding relationship is about to take a hit it might not recover from. On the other end of things, Jade is still the woman most deserving of a throat chop and Cory's other friends are a-okay as they have her back.

I honestly loved this series from beginning to end. Cory is messed up and without the kick in the pants meeting Van gave her to get her life together she would have kept on doing what she did until things blew up in her face. Van's hurricane-like entrance into her life and all the things he made her feel forced her to make some hard decisions.

She blew some things apart. She fixed others. She took a stand and was prepared to take any and all hits that came her way. I liked that about her. She was messed up, but she did what she had to do to keep those around her safe.

And she and Van were smokin' even when they were practically hate sexin' each other. It got even hotter when they both got on the emotion train and started to have all those warm, gooey feeeeeelings for one another.

This series. THIS SERIES. It totally rocked my socks off.

Perfect ending for a wonderful series.

Still hanging on that cliff from Volume 2 when I got this one and finally got to dive in and figure out what happens between Van and Cory and with the rest of the girls.

We get to finally see how the girls manage to possibly get away from Jade and what happens with Cory and Jills relationship after Jill knows how Cory makes a living.

We find the answer to what will Cory do next if she isn’t a thief anymore? Can she play it straight?

I love the world building you can definitely get a sense of the city and picture things clearly.

The characters are easy to emotionally get involved in and boy does this series give you a wonderful emotional roller coaster of a ride.

Cory is such a strong character I liked that she took the time to fix herself before she tried to fix the other things in her life. I like that we get more of the background on how she and Jill were raised and why she has been paying for Jill to go to a better school.

I got pulled in from Volume 1 and deeper after Volume 2. As soon as I saw the email that Volume 3 was out I put down what I was reading and stayed up until I finished it. I had to know!

A great easy to read series that finally has the great ending the characters deserve.

Cory is doing the right thing for once. She is going to tell Van the truth. It order to move forward you must face your past and make amends for all your past wrongs.

Cory waits for Van to return home. She will tell him the truth regardless of the consequences. She hopes he can move forward from her betrayal and that he will still want her but she knows rejection is probably what she will receive from him. How could anyone forgive what she has done?

Cory knows it’s time to make things right, not only with Van, but with Jill too. What happens when she goes all hardcore and tells the truth to Van and Jill? What happens with Jade?

I loved this different book series. It was different and I loved it! Cory was good person but did wrong things to get by in a world where she was pretty much left to fend for herself. She did what she did to help pay for her sister Jill's school. What Jade wanted her to do crossed the line and from then on she started to really think. I love the transformation of Cory throughout the 3 books. Van is just HOT and his feelings for Cory is what make me love this character even more. Its a quick and enjoyable read. Go check out this series!!

this is it the end to this rollercoaster ride of a story. What would you do if you hurt the one you had grown to have feelngs for and what would you do if they cannot forgive you? Cory has to face the music now for her decisions and can she handle the outcome. I must admit i was reading this volume with trepidation i wanted so much not just for Cory and Van but for all of the characters and i wanted the truly horrible ones to get their due justice. I was not disappointed the story as usual was at break neck speed which is great but infused with the charcters emotions and thoughts to keep you connected to them. I loved through this series the descriptions of free running it felt like you could feel the wind yourself and see the views of NYC that few people ever get to experience. My first Staci Hart work not my last going to go look at what else this talented lady has wrote :)

I want more Van please.

Picks up where the second book left off with Cory waiting for Van to return so she can explain the painting amd about her. But aa expected he doesn't take it well. Now with the girls getting out of the grasp of Jade and her brother, and with news of the people that they set up Cory can look on the bright side but Jade doesn't let go and visits Jill which is the wrong move as now the girls want to take her down amd let's just say they get payback. Will Cory be able to move on without Van? Will she stay away from hin like she promised? What happens to Jade and Jace? Well they only way to find out os give the books a read. Few lol moments and I can't wait to read more books from Staci Hart in the future.

An amazing conclusion to this serial romance. Cory is faced with the consequences of her actions and how best to move on with her life. We get to see a lot more of Jillian and it was great to see just why Cory wanted to protect her so much. Van's reaction is somewhat expected, but we all know there's going to be more to it eventually.

Watching Cory finally start getting her life back on track was probably the best part of this. Until you get to the end at least. The ending totally rocked! It was beyond perfect and I loved it.

Intense, passionate, and even gut-wrenching. The name of this series says it all, and Volume Three is the closure. Staci Hart has done an amazing job with this series as a whole, but life after Cory's "reveal" in Van's apartment is something you would hope for but not necessarily expect. After all, Cory is the embodiment of the bad-ass, parkour-loving, independent woman inside of us - and life is a harsh reality bent on beating her down.

Highly recommend this series!

It's more than a general kind of HEA; we see where Cory came from, and why she lives and loves on her own.
Her mom is awful (like put her on a plane somewhere awful), and Van knows what he wants.
Cory can deliver, but it isn't without a cost. Jade is among the least likable humans ever written. Love the ending.

What even!!! Hardcore is so good and so intriguing in a way that I didn't want to stop reading and practically read all three volumes in just a matter of HOURS. It has these moments of pure adrenaline and you feel you have them as well with the characters. The otp is so strong and so intense. Definitely need to meet Van, guys, asap.

Cory lifelong thief stole more than she bargained for one night. Meeting Van Collins changed everything. Resolving to make a wrong right but losing what she had found in in him. Can he forgive? Can she make changes to be the woman he sees in her?
