Okay, not what I was expecting from a shifter story. Raine is tagging
along with her boyfriend Jack while he works. Now Jack is off during most of the beginning giving her time to explore the town. She ends up sleeping with Jacy, a local native who lives on a preservation, right after she's attacked. Now I like my shifter stories but this...for the first say eight, nine chapters its just sex, mainly with Jack but she cheats on him with Jacy then goes right back, after a quick shower she's sleeping with Jack.

Of course Jack is up to something and when she finds out she takes off and the wolves show up. Jack runs off and she leaves on the back of one of the wolves. Problem is, there's no excitement whatsoever in this. By chapter ten you're ready to scream. If she's so in love with Jack why sleep with Jacy? I mean she's complaining the entire time about Jack only worrying about money but she never tells Jack. All she does is have "amazing" sex with him and she's happy with their relationship again. Then again, she's dreaming of being with Jacy again. This is a complete collection (?) don't understand how but okay, I'll pass on the others because this was just too bland for me.

Ok, here goes. Free book, hot native american. Rides motorcycle, strong female lead, all good reasons to read this story. This story had potential, had a great background of shape-shifting Native Americans, land battle, somewhat of love triangle, but fell short..instead of building on what could have been a great story this author had sex as main points in this book. Now don't get me wrong I love some hot steamy sexy times but in a story I need more, more character development, more in depth of side characters who seemed great but was put on back burner for same sex scene s over and over again. This is first book I actually skipped thru the sex to get back to the story which was good concept if the author would have had confidence in the storyline. I think the shape shifter part was thrown in to make this book PNR book to reach more readers. Sad to say this feel way short glad it was free!!

Not for the sexually timid

I like the way the author took the time that was needed to give the book depth, by not scrimping on the details. without it, I would have given this book a very different rating. this book is not for the sexually timid. I will definitely recommend this book to others!
