I'm in two minds about this book. Part of me thinks it's a poignant collection of stories of people who remember where they were on 9/11 and their thoughts and emotions. The other part of me thinks of it as an advertisement for another of the author's books, Einstein's Shutter, because there are so many excerpts from it in this. That's why I've only given it 3 stars, because if it was supposed to highlight other peoples' stories, why stick so much of another book in it? Surely pointing people towards it at the end, or including a sample chapter at the end would have been a better strategy, because chopped up inside another work, it looks and feels like filler. However that does not take away from some of the raw emotion presented here.
