Bow’s life has been anything but ordinary. The only child of a mogul and a business woman, she has wanted for nothing; except genuine friends. After the death of her Father, Bow decides it's time for a change. She enrols at the University of Houston, Texas.

There's just one small problem; she's a famous supermodel.

Asher's home life is in tatters. His Father’s double life has torn apart his family. Returning to College with his best friends, Asher lets football and Greek life distract him but even that's losing its appeal. Then he meets, Bow. An upfront, kind and poorly dressed girl in his marketing class.

His life is about to get a whole lot more distracting.

Bow has everything a girl could possibly want, she is a famous supermodel, has money and could do whatever she would like. Bow though craves normalcy and after she loses her father she comes up with a plan to achieve it. With a slight disguise, Bow enrolls in College in Texas.

Asher has had it with the fakers on campus, the women who are dolled up and easy prey for the taking. When he is paired up with Bow in a marketing class, he doesn't know quite what to think until she tells him off. The girl dresses like a bag lady, up close is quite pretty but he cant seem to get a good read on her. Asher does not date but the more he gets to know Bow the more he is thinking she is his one. What will he do when he finds out who she really is?

A few things were a little over much in the story but overall I liked it. Bow is really sweet and she finds a group who accepts her, no facades. The oddballs swarm around her protecting her and while Asher feels there is a reason, he is waiting for Bow to set the pace. If you like model and hottie stories, this is one to pick up.

OMG.... this book got me so in love! I LOVED IT! Definitely one of the book that i can read it over and over again without feeling tired or bother :)

THE STORY IS VERY GREAT! WE CAN SEE A COLLEGE SAFE LOVE STORY THAT HAS MANY GREAT FRIENDS AROUND THE HEROINE THAT LOVES HER SO MUCH AND SO GREAT FRIENDS!
It makes me jealous lol.

THE HEROINE is a beautiful famous supermodel. She wants to live a normal life in college and have education so she disguise herself to make it very not her. THE HEROINE HAVE BEEN THROUGH A LOT so i understand why she want to do this for her. Even tho she’s a supermodel but that doesn’t mean she have a easy life with her personal life.

NO VIRGINS...

THE HERO is OTT POSSESSIVE PROTECTIVE ALPHA MALE!!! :) AT FIRST when he meets the heroine he thought she was usual girl THEN WHEN THEY ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH HANDS THE ELECTRICITY JUST BURST IN... it made them realize something. THE HERO is a football player on campus and kinda popular but he doesn’t really into college popularity socially. AFTER THE HERO get to know her and spends his days with her because they have a project together HE WANTS HER SOOOO BAD....

EVEN AT FIRST WHEN THEY WEREN’T DATING OFFICIALLY THE HERO got so jealous for little things.

BOTH COUPLES have been through a lot in their life’s so you get to read many sad scenes from them. I HONESTLY CRIED VIEW TIMES ABOUT IT :’) it’s a family stuff that makes me cried.

•IT HAS SEPARATION because the HERO was misunderstood about the heroine so he push her away when she’s trying to explain. DURING THIS SEPARATION THE Heroine does not have go with others. THERE WAS ONE TIME WHEN THE HERO thought he can go out and be single he tried to talked to some girl at the bar BUT HE GOES AWAY THE MINUTE THE GIRL JUST ASKING HIM IF HIS GRUMPY without touching him! so the hero is faithful even when they were breaking up at the time. THE SEPARATION ONLY LAST 3 WEEKS because the heroine have a job to do in another country as well the hero have something to do with his family’s issue. THEN THEY BACK TOGETHER. It was all misunderstanding...

•NO CHEATING

•THE HEROINE’S Have a stalker problem

•THERE WERE DRAMA WITH OW but it was before the heroine and hero officially date. And only for view minutes so it’s not too annoying...

•MANY JEALOUS SCENE FROM THE HERO

•NO VIOLENCE BETWEEN THEM

•SAD SCENES from family

•HEA AND CUTE EPILOGUE OMG....
They have two kids and still friends with others!

•POSSESSIVE ALPHA MALE HERO AND SUPERMODEL HEROINE with good heart and not arrogant.

•CUTE AND LOVING FRIENDS WITH THEM ALL THE WAY ITS SO COOL

I adore this book! It’s one of my favourite books, I have read this book more then a five times, and I am pretty sure that I have posted a review already. But as I have just re read it again, I am going to write a new review. I absolutely LOVE Bow! She is an awesome female lead. Bow is strong, confident and caring. She is an awesome friend to the oddballs and I love her friendship with Michael.
I love every single part of the storyline and no matter how many times I read this book; I get drawn in and fall more in love with it.

Supermodel Bow Bells Stratton is desperate to go to college, make some friends and have fun. But as a supermodel she wouldn’t make true friends, people would hover round her and use her, so she makes the decision to go to college, in disguise! With a shoulder length brown wig, contact lenses and baggy/lounge about clothes, Bow makes her new start. On the first evening there, after being turned down by sorority’s, she spots the run down oddball house. Instantly, the head of the house, Glen, makes it known that he knows she’s in disguise and to admit to her secret identity. Quickly making friends with the group of people that are now her roommates.

During Bow’s first college class, she gets paired up with footballer Asher and although it is a rough start for the pair, a relationship starts to form. As the friendships and relationship grow unbreakable, what will happen when Asher finds out about Bow’s secret identity? What will happen when danger comes for Bow? Will Asher and the oddballs be able to save her in time?

I really enjoyed this story. Bow is a phenomenal heroine. She's confident, and gorgeous (she's a supermodel). I loved the fact that she didn't have any insecurities in regards to her looks, feelings or self worth. She knew and accepted who she was. It was refreshing to read, considering 90 % of YA/NA/Romance novels deal with heroines who are insecure, in regards to their attractiveness, weight and/or self worth.

I think that this is the first book that I've read, where the heroine outshines the hero. Asher was great during the first half of the book, where he falls for the badly dressed heroine in disguise. He was actually "swoon worthy" during those moments. However, when the heroine's true identity is revealed, his character becomes bland.

One of the main problems with the book is that it appears as though the heroine is purchasing the affections of her friends. Her need to constantly purchase extravagant items for those close to her, makes the reader wonder, if her friends like her for her, or for what she does for them. Even Asher becomes besotted by the gifts he receives and is in awe of her great wealth. It's quite hard to understand what Bow sees in Asher. His future goals are never discussed and he has no qualms about enjoying Bow's money. So, is it safe to assume that he'll be mooching off of her for the rest of his life?

One other aspect of the book that I wasn't pleased with .

This is a solid 4.5 star book. The story and premise had a lot of potential that wasn't fully utilized.

3.5 STARS

I did enjoy this book overall and I will read the next one in the series but there were a couple of things that caused me to stick at 3.5 stars. Fiction requires that you suspend reality for a while, and that's the whole point of reading, the escapism....however, elements of this book such as Bow' s incredible wealth and what was involved in the renovation of the house were a bit OTT. Also, Asher said some really nasty stuff to her when they fell out and it didn't feel like his apology was enough. The storyline was a fab idea , but quite hard to implement I think.
The secondary characters were interesting. I would try the next book. Just had some mixed feelings over this one

3 stars... this one wasn’t bad but it was just too ott at some points... like her being a model, not only a model but Victorias-Secret-Supermodel of course... then her being suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper rich and buying ott presents for her friends like cars, harleys, flight lessons... she even gets a Ferrari for christmas from her uncle *rolleyes*... and she buys the house where her college friends are living and renovates it with a pool, gym and tv room, Fort-knox-security-system etc. So yes, it was a lil bit OTT but I still loved the H and h together and how they loved each other

What can I say

What can I say!, another great book from C.J Washington. Model student ticked all the right boxes for me.. Bow is a beautiful strong young woman that just needs love from an independent strong male.. enter Asher.. love d the story line. There were a few mistakes throughout but didn’t deter from the storyline. I can not wait for the next Oddball story 💜

I admit it - I was drawn in by a pretty cover and I'm a sucker for fun model stories.

What can I say? I didn't think the writing was great. Relationships and friendships seem to pop up out of nowhere and proceed at the speed of light. A "secret" is blown wide open in the first few chapters with no fallout and in the most ludicrous of ways. CIA? Talk about a deus ex machina.

The characters never seem like real people. The main character is a Mary Sue. I struggled to find plot, character or relationship development.

To be honest, with how good the cover looks, I expected something more.

This is a debut novel/author and have several inconsistencies, it didn't help that I'm very familiar of the setting she selected but it didn't really disrupt the story much. Despite this, I really, really enjoyed the book. The characters were great and mostly relatable. The heroine is Bow, who is very wealthy. While reading, it would seem like she's buying her friend's affection but I don't think that's what she's doing at all. She never had friends and this is a way for her to show her love for them. Give it a go. I can't wait for the next book.

I love this, really, I did. But...
WHAT THE FUCK

THEY or rather she (and her uncle) spending their money like its change. I mean okay, she's worth a billion now that her father died but still, the way she gave everyone gifts on christmas... god damn. It's not really... well, how would I know. It's nice to think this could happen but frankly, the fact that it was written like she had no care in the world about how she spends her money was ugly...

But other than that. The story line was really good.

way too fast on all the relationships in this book. Her friends accepted everything she told them, no question and became besties instantly. this was the first day she met them. No build of the relationship etc. Same with the romance although to be honest it was the tight friends relationship I found most unbelievable. but it was a decent story. had some editing issues, but not too bad.

This book was so cheesy I was constantly rolling my eyes insta love and no depth in the plot it's like so many other books no originality I felt like I'd read this book so many other times the characters themselves were so cliche and simple I really wanted to like this book it reminded me of the movie Sydney White but worse definitely not my cup of tea!

I always love a confident and secure heroine... and that's what caught me in the book. But I just have to agree with the other reviews... it just was too unrealistic for me. May it be in the friendships, situations, wealth, etc... it just didn't feel relatable and real.

I just want to point out an important fact about this author she is from great Britain. So the writing will be different than an American author. Certain words they do spell differently. So it isn't incompetence on the writers part

It was meh

Besides the constant misspelling of practice and apologize which completely threw me off the book each time I came across each misspelled word. The actual book was ok.

good story but the heroine is super rich and the ashers future is not discussed properly.. so should we assume that everyone is just going to mooch off from Bow for now? overall it was a good book
