Interrupted by S. Moose is the first volume of a three part erotic serial. I enjoyed this serial but didn't love it as much as I would have like to. I think partly the reasoning for my 3.5-4 star rating is the due to Cam's personality. I honestly could not relate to her..She didn't draw me into the story unlike Sharp. I find Cam to be a bit wishy washy so I'm hoping in book 2 that she will have a stronger personality that will draw and connect to the readers. As for Sharp, I really like this mysterious sexy alpha vibe that he portrays. I look forward to the next installment especially after that cliffhanger ending.

OOOOOMMMMMMGGGGGG!!!!!! Why oh why would you end the book there?!?! I need more NOW!!! That cliffhanger almost killed me! I know, I know this is only Volume 1 in a three part erotic romance novella series! But WOW, I need more Sharp!

This is the first in a three novella erotic series and therefore there is a big cliff hanger ending, but sheesh what an ending!
Cam has been happily, or so she thought, married for the last ten years. Throughout the years she has always, on a day each year, looked to her memory box and remembered her first love Ayden who she has never got over him leaving her without a word. Her marriage has suffered recently due to Cam being unable to get pregnant which put pressures on the relationship. When Cam finds her husband cheating on her, this is the catalyst for marriage breakdown. Again she is left feeling abandoned and walked over.
Cam being Cam picks herself up and throws herself into her new job with Sharp Securities. It is through some chatty texts with her new boss known as, Sharp, that she finds herself feeling appreciated, especially as Sharp is not known for his chattiness with the staff. When the texts become flirtier, things take off to a steamy level.
Sharp is the ultimate CEO, he is bossy, arrogant, domineering and sounds oh so sexy on the conference calls. His business persona however hides a personal hurt from the past and now lives to avenge that. He also is a devoted father to his son Grayson. Only his mother knows of the real Sharp.
This is so good and I was devastated when it ended. That last scene at Sharp’s door? Oh. Em. Gee. This author definitely is keeping me on tenterhooks so I hope we don’t have months to wait for the next one. This is a ‘read in one sitting and I can’t put it down’ kind of book. Definitely recommend you snatch this sexy novella now. Five stars.

Oh yes!
My first from this author after seing a recommendation, oh I am glad I picked it up for an early night!
A great start to this serial, a quick read but you get more than enough to build on, all the characters are set up nicely, and that isn't just Sharp and Cam, but the 'supporting cast' also, lots of questions and plots there ready for development, my mind is now working thinking what is going to happen..... I have a few theories! Can't wait to see which are cods wallop and which may happen.... Loved the ending! Could only have been better with theme music playing......Bring on book Two!

I knew it was a cliffhanger. I never read them unless I know I have the second book. I read it anyway..and now I'll suffer until I know if the second book is out! Did I see that coming? I think so. Maybe? Possibly? I of course have to know what happens!!! I have no patience...I know this

Camila is married to Henry, who is a successful fertility doctor. They look like the perfect couple but things are not as they always seem. With her marriage crumbling, she takes up a position with Sharp Security. She works for the CEO Millionaire A. Sharp, a man she has never met, but a man who she cannot help her attraction to. Sharp is a hard man and never does repeats with a woman. After hiring Cam they start to text one another and flirty relationship starts to form. It is an unusual relationship but you know that something is off. Sharp finally invites Camila to meet him and with it the plot thickens even more. The author has captivated us with suspense, mystery and plenty of plot twists. There seems to be loads of puzzle pieces but the question is how they all fit together. Overall I love a book that keeps me guessing.

The best way to sum up this book is to call it a labyrinth. This is volume 1 in a three part serial and I can’t wait to see how this all unfolds. So get ready for a big WTF cliffhanger!!!
Cam…I began with a strong love/hate relationship with her. She’s married to a doctor that specializes in infertility. From the outside looking in, Cam has it all. Marriage, money, friends…she’s living the life right? Well not exactly. She is having issues with infertility herself. She lost the only baby she got pregnant with. Then she finds her husband in bed with another woman. Instead of leaving her husband (which is the part that irritated me with her), she decided to live with the lies. Cam gets a job with Sharp Security to help give her life meaning outside of the broken marriage. This is where I start to love her!
Sharp Security CEO, Mr. Sharp. Love him! He is raising a son on his own with the help of his mother. He’s a family man but is not looking for a woman to fill the role of mother. Sharp is strict with the women he beds and lets them know up front that it’s a one-time thing and there will be no repeats. His focus is on his company and his son. And then comes Cam….LOL
Now single, Cam thinks often about her first love Ayden that she lost years ago. Feeling lonely, Cam and Sharp build a relationship. Yet they’ve never met. All their interactions are done through email, text, or phone calls. Those interactions, HOT!! It seems they can’t get enough of the ongoing flirtation. Then comes the end of this volume and HOLY BLEEEEEP!!!
The book was well written and it holds your attention. I loved the characters. This is something different from the other books written by the author and I was pleasantly surprised! Go S. Moose! S. Moose has easily become one of my favorite authors. I've read this story 3 times already, and seriously, each time, I'm lost in wonder. This is the first volume in a serial so beware, there is a major cliffhanger.
This story is totally different from her other works. I'm over here thinking, "Damn, the author has a dark side and I love it!" We first meet Cam, a young woman, married to an amazing doctor, specializing in helping women get pregnant. They live a luxurious life, filled with huge homes, glamorous parties, never ending closets filled with clothes, and high-end society banter. She has it all; except, deep down, she has nothing. She's been unable to have children and the only time, she did get pregnant, her child was stillborn. Because of this heartache, her marriage has crumbled. Matters worsen when she finds her husband in bed with another woman. She lives the lie, knowing her husband is a cheat, and decides to get a job working at Sharp Security.
Mr. Sharp, the CEO, is all about following the rules with women. 1. No repeats 2. No relationships. He enjoys his many conquests with women and I liked his honesty. He was always upfront with them and never gave them false hope. I loved his attitude and his smolder...I love a man whose confident and knows what he wants. He reads Cam's resume, and instantly tells his secretary to get her in for an interview. Once Cam is hired, the relationship between the two grows into something more.
What I liked most about this story is that they never meet. The relationship is simply between phone, text, and email. Ha! Let me tell you, I never thought phone sex would be so hot! I found myself blushing at times! And of course, the mind blowing twist at the end, will leave you gob-smacked! Yup, you heard right.
I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!

Mysterious and sexy, two good reasons to push this serial into your reading schedule.
To be honest, there are things that I liked about this story, but also some I didn't enjoy so much. Shall I start with the best features? Let's see. First, the plot is engaging because Cam is a woman with a very sad, very mysterious past that haunts her.
I was curious and hooked on her doomed first love that she's never recovered from. Nowadays, she's married and trying to start a family with a husband who sometimes makes her happy, but most of the time is a disappointment.
On the other hand, the male character, Sharp, is a rich, dominating self-made man who doesn't respect women. Half redeemable, I hope.
Told from the POVs, the story describes how they come into contact. She works for him, though they never meet face to face. I really enjoyed their kinky texts and naught tele-behaviour. Though here it is when something doesn't add up. Their interactions go from nothing at all to this chain of texting or phone calls that are too intimate for total strangers on a business basis.
Also, the flow in the scenes was a bit bumpy as situations from the past, present and memories kept getting a bit jumbled. Sometimes I couldn't tell what was happening and when, there was not a fluid transition.
Despite the irregular narrative or the unemotional relations between Cam and Sharp or even why Henry, Cam's husband, appears out of nowhere and bam, they reconnect for no reason, the one thing that I really was keen on was Cam's past. Her tragic romance kept me really interested as I was hoping for a big outbreak there. And wait till that cliffhanger slaps you in the face! Now, continuing to part 2 is a must.

I really had high hopes for this book but it's terrible.
The characters are unbelievable and unlikeable.
There is no development, the story nor the characters. We actually don't get to see the characters getting to know eachother, it starts with her getting an interview then a few pages later emailing the boss, in a friendly not so professional way. There is no development, the story nor the characters. We actually don't get to see the characters getting to know eachother, it starts with her getting an interview then a few pages later emailing the boss, in a friendly not so professional way. I admit, I read the book based on the cover and the interesting blurb.
I know its gonna be cliffy, but I'm in "curiosity could kill a cat" mode, so...I read it with all the consequences ! *grins*
As the 1st part from the series, I think this one is not bad.
Even while reading it I can see where the story and mysteries goes...
What should I say ? It's way too predictable, but...it still "enjoyable" to follow and I do really want to know where the story goes and "Why he did all that things" anyway and its better be GOOD reason and make sense or...be ready for my sharp tongue ! *smirk*

For those readers who have issues about cheating and infidelity, I warn you that this book had it all. *smiles*

The main characters suffer from split-personality disorder as well as, in Cam's case, a extremely severe case of the whinges. I thought I had suffered from whiplash in previous books I had read, but that was nothing compared to reading this story.
The writing style is RP all the way, and not good RP at that. It is very poorly edited and as I've already stated, the storyline is over-the-top predictable and obvious.

I really liked this book. Both Cam and Sharp are likeable characters. I believe many women can empathize with Cam. Her struggle towards motherhood and a failing marriage is relatable. Sharp has a phobia against commitment but we don't understand why as of yet. But we do get to see that he is a devoted son and father and a great employer.
I hope we get some answers in book 2. Why didn't Henry want Cam in his hospital room? Where is Greyson's mom? I have some ideas and I'm excited to find out if I'm right!

S. Moose has easily become one of my favorite authors. I've read this story 3 times already, and seriously, each time, I'm lost in wonder. This is the first volume in a serial so beware, there is a major cliffhanger.
This story is totally different from her other works. I'm over here thinking, "Damn, the author has a dark side and I love it!" We first meet Cam, a young woman, married to an amazing doctor, specializing in helping women get pregnant. They live a luxurious life, filled with huge homes, glamorous parties, never ending closets filled with clothes, and high-end society banter. She has it all; except, deep down, she has nothing. She's been unable to have children and the only time, she did get pregnant, her child was stillborn. Because of this heartache, her marriage has crumbled. Matters worsen when she finds her husband in bed with another woman. She lives the lie, knowing her husband is a cheat, and decides to get a job working at Sharp Security.
Mr. Sharp, the CEO, is all about following the rules with women. 1. No repeats 2. No relationships. He enjoys his many conquests with women and I liked his honesty. He was always upfront with them and never gave them false hope. I loved his attitude and his smolder...I love a man whose confident and knows what he wants. Great book
It was a well written book. Although, I'm not fond of the use of the word anaconda. I don't like books that end on cliffhangers but I really enjoyed the book, even though I figured out from early on the revelation at the end was going to happen.

Wow!!
Omg this is such an intense story!! I couldn't put it down. I'm not even sure what to say except it is a must read. The only downfall is that it ends in a MAJOR cliffhanger!! I cannot wait to find out what happens with Cam and 'Sharp'!!

Great story
This was my first time reading anything by this author. Won't be my last, her writing is great, the storyline original and surprising. I really enjoyed the characters, and can't wait to start book two especially with that epic cliff hanger.

So I have to say I am conflicted while writing this review…..I have loved every other book S. Moose has published but for some reason this one didn't work for me in some ways. I really like the storyline and the concept of the book and the Hero of the story…Sharp was great, but I think a lot of it had to do with the heroine of the story…Cam. I felt her character was just to naive and wishy washy for me. There were some times when we saw a strong and independent woman and I really hoped that was what she would stay like, but nope she ended up being naive and just too gullible for me. I really wanted to smack her around for what she lets Henry do to her.
I loved Sharp….even though he is looked at as an a$$hole in this story, there was just something about him that I was drawn too. He harbors a secret throughout this whole installment, until the very last line of the book. I have to say I am proud of myself for figuring out his secret and I can't wait to see where the author takes this storyline with him and Cam. I just know that we are going to see a softer side of him as the story goes on….or at least I hope….LOL :)
I can't really say a whole lot about the plot of this installment because this book was really just about getting to know the characters and gaining a connection to them. We learned a little bit about Cam and her past but only snippets, so I am hoping that in book 2 more of the characters past come to light. I am also hoping that more of Sharp's secret comes out….I want to know more about his past. This installment of the story really is about watching Cam become a better person and taking control of her own life, instead of letting Henry run her life.
This is part 1 of a 3 part serial, so I will warn you that it does end with a cliffhanger, but it is one that won't have you pulling out your hair, you will just be left with some questions and dying for the next book to see what happens. I do want to give a warning to some readers who might be sensitive to certain subject matters and scenes in a book…
I know that this review might sound like I didn't like this book, but that isn't true…..I did enjoy this book and I am truly excited to see where the story goes from here. If you are looking for an intriguing storyline and a quick read then I think you should give this a try. I will say that this series is something completely different from what S. Moose usually publishes, so if you are a fan of her work, then you will want to give this series a try!!!!

WOW so I snuck this little story in while my girls were at dance class !! Thank goodness they didn't need me since I sat in my van reading and reading from start to finish without even looking up or blinking !! This book threw a few major twists and turns in there and I was caught off guard once but I have to say I knew when it came to the end I just knew it had to be , I hoped and prayed !! OMG I NEED MORE NOW !! The ending was so freakin awesome I am so pissed we have to wait......PURE TORTURE....this author is great at that !! This book may be different than her others but she still knows how to suck you in immediately and hold you until the end !! Then at the end she just whips you around and around until you are on the verge of freaking out !! That is me now , FREAKING OUT I NEED TO KNOW
So at the start I immediately connect with Cam , not sure of the painful story of her past but I know she is hurting and I just have to know what happened. She is missing someone from her past but has had to move on in life. Currently married to a doctor and living what seems to be the great life !! Trouble with pregnancy has her in a rut but her hubby seems loving and they seem to have a great relationship. Being that this is a short piece of the puzzle we move quickly along with the HOLY CRAP DID I JUST READ THAT , yes that part at the gala , ummmm I did not see that coming , am I dumb ?? WTF , anyways moving on now kind of heartbroken for Cam but supporting her decision we take a journey with her into her new job , new boss and now a huge change at home. Luckily Cam has great friends and a great boss , who she has never met , because she needs help and needs it bad !! Between her past haunting her and her husband suffering from some serious a$$holeness emotions run high and you can't help but want to cuddle Cam.
Sharp is a businessman , very determined in his work and at home making a life for his son. Something about his past haunts him as well. He has a secret or a plan ?? He has this air of mystery about him but what is not mysterious is that he is one of those guys that screws everyone and anyone , no relationships , no repeats. Being away in Paris has prevented him from meeting his new employer , non other than Cam !! Through texts and phone calls they develop this unique flirty relationship. Sharp is baffled since this is not his usual thing , he is loving it and enjoying Cam and wanting more from her. When trouble strikes at home these 2 kick up their texts and phone convos A LOT !! Damn they are electric and WOW steamy and yummy !! Is this a new start for them or just a way to pass the time while they both piece together their haunting pasts and plans for the future ??

Interrupted Volume 1 by S.Moose is an intense story filled with facing a heartache, starting your life over and standing up for yourself all the while searching for the one true love that you lose so many years before. S.Moose has a way of dragging the reader into the story, having us ask so many questions as we read and only answering a few but leaving us yearning for more with an amazing cliffhanger. This book was a 3.5 star read for me and I recommend it to everyone who enjoys a little mystery tied in with their romance.
Camila Ellison or Cam as she is called by her friends seems to have the perfect life. She is the housewife to a wealthy and extremely successful fertility doctor. Although she has been unable to have a child of her own, she is supportive of his thriving practice. Until the unthinkable happens; she walks in on him having sex with another woman. Her husband Henry, is unaware that his secret had been discovered and Cam milks it for a while, not revealing to him that she no longer loves him as she once did. After taking a job at Sharp Security Incorporated in the hopes of using her degree and alleviating the boredom that she feels; she begins thinking about her long lost love Ayden.
Cam has hired a private detective to find Ayden; having an intense need to know what happened to him after all these years. Why he pledged his love for her but walked away without a trace, changing his number to never be heard from again. When her PI finally comes back with some information, it was not what Cam was hoping to hear and she finally realizes that she has to let go of the love that she has harbored for him.
Sharp is a shark with his company and also with women. He never sees the same woman twice, nor does date. He engages in one night only sex antics where he never spends the night after a romp in the sheets. Why was Sharp breaking all of his carefully laid rules in order to talk to Cam; fulfilling a need to be close to her in any way he could. You will have to read to find out!

Interrupted Volume 1 is the first book in this erotic romance novella series. I have read a few books by S. Moose and all of them have been great. This book definitely shows another side of S. Moose's writing that I didn't realize she had in her. I have to say with all the questions and confusion I had reading this story I will have to rate this book a 3.5 stars and it was quite a big cliffy! All the books in this series are novellas so they will all be short stories but I hope that means she will write them quickly because I want my confusion and questions answered quickly! I have no doubt that will happen when the other books in the series come out, S. Moose is a brilliant author and I know she will pull it out for me in the end, sometimes I wish we could rate a whole series because sometimes my views and ratings change by the final book.
Cam is living the life she has always wanted with her doctor husband with the perfect house.. but one problem she can't seem to get pregnant. This starts to put a strain on there relationship and Cam finds her husband in bed with another woman, but he doesn't know she found this out. She goes about her days spending her husbands money on anything and everything. She starts to get bored so she finds a job at Sharp Security Association. She finds that even though her life is falling apart at home her job is keeping her very happy or is the mysterious boss Sharp that she hasn't met but has shard many phone/text message conversations with? Or could it be that she starts to think about what she has lost in her past and the man she thinks about all the time Ayden? When she finds out terrible news about Ayden the man who vanished from her life she promises to move past her love for him and finally find her happily ever after....
Sharp isn't the kind of man for relationships, he is a do em and leave em kind of man. He has rules he goes by to protect himself and his family and nothing will ever get in the way of that. He is the owner of Sharp Security and his only friends are the employees he trust with his company. He has his associate hire Cam and from the moment they speak he is ready to leave his rules behind just to find out more about her. Even though they have never met face to face there feelings for eachother will evolve ...but are either ready for the truth behind the mask?
IN the last few pages of this book you will be slapped with a huge shocking WTF moment...I have say I suspected it but wasn't completely sure.. so you have to pick up this book and figure it out for yourself!

This was an amazing start to a new serial series. I love this author. Everything she hasn't written to date is brilliant but this.... goes beyond that. This was amazing. It was sensual, sexy, sweet, suspenseful, full of twists and turns, and totally had me reeling at the end. I need more NOW! Told in dual POV, get ready for an emotional roller coaster ride.
This is the beginning of Cam and Sharp's story! Cam is a wife who has it all but one thing... a baby. After suffering disappointments and loss, she and her husband are struggling. When she discovers a side of him she didn't realize (or was too ignorant) to see, she puts her time and energy into her new job. This is where she meets, but never in person, the infamous Mr. Sharp. He brings a side out of her that she has never known. But Sharp has secrets... big ones that could send Cam either running away from him or to him. Its a gamble. What will happen as Cam and Sharp get closer? Will Sharp's secrets be too much for Cam to accept?
I will say that this is book one in a three book serial so there is no resolution and this book does end on a cliffhanger that will have you wanting to throw your kindle... but it is totally worth it!

My 4.5 star review of Interrupted by S. Moose
I love this author, not only is she a fantastic writer that never leaves me disappointed- she is such a beautiful person, inside and out. Every time I read a book written by her- I usually have the following feels- WOW, HOT, WTF, NO!!!!!!!! And this book was no exception.
This is part one of a series, there are three novellas written by Ms. Moose- and trust me, by the end of it- you will want MORE, MORE, MORE!!
This is a story- of above all things, love. But it is SO much more than that. One of my favorites to read about is love lost- and second chances. But this also has angst and anger riddled throughout. And don’t forget a strong passionate filled story. The characters developed in this novella make me crave to know more about them, and how they affect each other’s lives. I felt like I was a part of this book, and I wanted nothing more than to climb in and be a bystander as their stories played out. Sharp is a sexy as hell man, who is successful in many aspects of his life. He has these rules- that he won’t break, because of his dominant personality and triggers from his past. That is until he becomes involved in some emails that quickly set off the rest of the pacing of the story.
This book was like a roller coaster- I never knew what was going to come next- started on a uphill climb, then it took some twists and turns, highs and lows, and then it was over- and I needed to know more- I needed another ride on the roller coaster- only problem is- there is a HUGE line, and we have to wait for S Moose to let us back in to the story of Cam and Sharp.
I can’t wait for part number two, and you should dive in to this crazy, mixed up love story that is Interrupted!
I love this author, not only is she a fantastic writer that never leaves me disappointed- she is such a beautiful person, inside and out. Every time I read a book written by her- I usually have the following feels- WOW, HOT, WTF, NO!!!!!!!! And this book was no exception.
This is part one of a series, there are three novellas written by Ms. Moose- and trust me, by the end of it- you will want MORE, MORE, MORE!!
This is a story- of above all things, love. But it is SO much more than that. One of my favorites to read about is love lost- and second chances. But this also has angst and anger riddled throughout. And don’t forget a strong passionate filled story. The characters developed in this novella make me crave to know more about them, and how they affect each other’s lives. I felt like I was a part of this book, and I wanted nothing more than to climb in and be a bystander as their stories played out.
