In this romantic follow up to The Replacement Wife, Chloe Brooks tries to move on with her life after losing her multi-millionaire boyfriend, Quentin, to a singing nanny. Even though Quentin gave Chloe twenty million dollars to leave quietly, she longs for love and hopes that a move to Washington DC will expand her options to a new elite crowd.
When Chloe meets ex-NFL star, Dustin McArthur, she thinks she's finally met the man of her dreams. He's sinfully handsome, lives in an exclusive neighborhood in Georgetown and knows how to show Chloe a great time, all while being the perfect gentleman. Chloe is sure she's struck the jackpot with Dustin, and hesitates to tell him about her past gold digger ways.
But while Dustin seems like the whole package, there are a few chinks in his knight's armor. A wild past has left him with four children by four women, his finances are in disarray, and the A-list life he leads is merely smoke and mirrors provided by his NFL friends and Chi Kappa Psi Fraternity brothers.
When Chloe and Dustin's secrets are revealed, will there be enough love to cover their multitude of sins? Or will Chloe's replacement fall short of the original?

This was a ok read. Glad to see that some can a happier ever after. Mad that she left us hanging, wanted more. Want to know what happens next; wedding, baby mamas, finances, and their careers. Tiffany L Warren is a good author, and I have enjoyed a few books by her.
I read the first book, The Replacement Wife, probably 2 or 3 years ago and remembered that liked the book, but not Chloe. No idea why it's taken me so long to read this one, but I decided to check it out when I saw it while scrolling through my ever-growing TBR collection.
I had no love for Miss Chloe in the first book. Funny how I liked her almost immediately in this one. She was definitely a changed person. Or, as she said, she was finally free to be the real Chloe. Her girl Lichelle still needs some folks to pray for her, though, cause she is much too much.
Chloe and Dustin both had been living on the wild side, and I liked that neither tried to judge the other. They may not have been upfront with each other about their pasts, but when their truths came out, they didn't hold the things they'd done against each other. And th
This was a good, quick read. A definite reminder that no matter what you've done, God loves you.
I have to say I was a little hesitant about Dustin & Chloe because both had to be honest about their pasts before a relationship could get out the gate. I was pleased with how all the issues were handled. Dustin had arrived in a place that Chloe was trying to heal from after her last relationship. Ms. Warren did a wonderful job telling their story.
Chloe is a single black female with a very checkered past. Her former 5 year relationship to a billionaire didn't end very well…and she made him pay for it. Now, she's in DC and she's looking for love.
Dustin is a retired NFL player that has a checkered past as well…four children by just add many baby mothers and a dwindling bank account. He is now a saved man who is also looking for love.
The two meet and sparks fly, but can they get over each other's previous life?
I consider this book to be a Christian Romance. It drew me in from page 1, and just when I was really getting into it, it abruptly ended at 75%.😫 For this reason alone, I am giving it 💎💎💎💎.
If you've never read a book by @tiffanylwarren, you have no idea what you're missing.
I enjoyed this book! It is very short and I was able to finish it in on a day trip car ride. It was well worth the $4 kindle cost. I have to say I enjoyed it bit more than The Replacement Wife.
Chloe was dating a wealthy man in Atlanta who ditched her for a singing nanny. Chloe was so upset that he dumped her after being together for years. Chloe hired an attorney and sue her boyfriend. After receiving a large settlement, Chloe decides to relocate to DC. After relocating to DC Chloe decides to stay to herself and get herself together. Chloe and her friend hangs out one night and she met Dustin McArthur who was an ex NFL player for the Ravens. Dustin had four children with four different women. Dustin and Chloe began to date and fall in love with one another. Chloe and Dustin both have secrets. We all have made mistakes in our life.
Love is unconditional. True love looks beyond your faults & flaws and is willing to stick around no matter what. In just a couple months these 2 fall in love, but they're both withholding parts of their past and/or future from the other because they don't want to risk losing the other. Will their secrets bring them together or set them apart. I enjoyed Chloe & Dustin's story. Chloe was definitely more likeable & turnt down in this story. The was a page turner for sure!!
Chloe finally finds her true love and face her truth. I saw her from a different angle in this book . She was vulnerable and open t finding love. Dustin definitely wears his heart on his sleeves. He was a good man who loved hard and paid a hefty price for it. I wish there was more to his story with more details on his daughters and their mothers. This was an amazing read!
Is money everything? This story tells of secrets that could damage a relationship. Could you look past someone's flaws? Not all advice is good advice....who do you listen to?
A Great Read! A wonderful and clean Romance. I could just have Tiffany Warren Books to read and I will be fine. I did not like Chloe in the Replacement Wife, but I like her now.
