Very disappointed by the finale.....
SPOILERS:
The vicious hateful monsterous woman who tortured Rust gets to have his baby secretly, while the heroine who suffered through everything including watching her love have sex with this monster while having to participate loses her child.
The author threw us a bone that in the end Kate was pregnant but it was thru invetro and after suffering two more miscarriages and the monster is happily ever after with her perfect baby hiding I am sure to swoop down on the couple at some later date. Very disappointed, wish I had stopped reading at part 3...then I never would have known about him and Shalimar in the bushes nor the 3 way monster getting her jollies fulfilled (along with a bay for her bad deeds) after lusting over Rust while she did everything to destroy him and because they were in her custody she also is responsible for the death of his parents and Kates miscarriage. Hated it... very very much.

Finally at five
Yes, I admit it I read all five......I just wanted to see where this story was going to go. The story was so shallow and the characters were less than one dimensional. This is about a half step up from those Penthouse short stories. Come on the who or FBI section, then screwing the agent and then the pregnancies? I just shook my head at the end.

Am I reading the same book?
The final chapter was not the same story I was reading. Too many new characters and new plots, new questions and wtf moments all through this book. The author should of left off after the first book. Disappointing

Best for Last
I think I enjoyed the final chapter the most. The Author did a great job of bringing everything around and wrapping it up.

I'm so sad it had to end...but what a story
I am enthralled with Rust and Kate's story( except for them losing the baby). This was truly an exciting series. I could not put it down until I finished. Every time I received a notice that the new book was released I immediately brought it. It is a must have and not a must borrowed series. Ms. Steele captive and pull you in hook line and sinker. Love, love,love this series and all her books! I only wished Alyssa would have told them she had a baby out of their "experiment."

Wow...this ending thru me for a loop. Not sure I liked the direction it took...wow, still in shock I guess...
