This was an interesting story with potential....However, I think these were some of the most under developed character I have ever read a story about. Throughout the story, Isaac talked about how much he loved his wife Cydney.....He constantly cheated on her...all of his side and jump off chicks knew her name...what astonished me was the fact that he never used a condom (except one time almost at the end of the story) and he was frivolous with oral sex with those very side and jump off....those are not the signs of a man who loves his wife....usually there's rules to cheating...The sad thing was his wife Cydney was the same way, she cheated and never once used a condom....these were thirty-something year old adults...she did have limits with oral sex....this story was under developed as well, the plot twist and turns lacked luster or surprise. The supposed connections within the plot twist just didn't make connections...the author just told you in the story that people were together with explanation. There were a lot of things that just didn't make sense in this story to me. I still don't understand why Isaac didn't understand that his actions started this entire change of unpleasant events. Even, during therapy he NEVER owned that.

Cydney Conley is ready to throw her hands in the air and her husband out on his cheating backside. Their marriage has lost all of its meaning and her husband refuses to be faithful to their once solid relationship. Yes, she has gained some extra weight and sometimes works extra hours, but doesn't that go along with being married? In any event, two can play this game and Cydney is sure that this blow will ultimately make Isaac choose between his loyalty to their marriage or his loyalty to the streets.

Isaac Conley loves the ladies. With his good looks and policeman swagger, the women just cannot resist him. After years of cheating, it almost comes like second nature. He has tried and tried over and over again with Cydney, but her sarcastic remarks, lack of maternal wants and 20-pound weight gain has driven him to the arms and bodies of his ghetto fantasies.

Miguel cannot believe how easy it is for Isaac to be unfaithful to his wife. Every booty that struts by grabs his attention. How could this man have a beautiful wife at home and cheat on her every time he feels a twitch? It is bad enough finding a good woman and dogs like Isaac eventually turn a good woman into an evil, fed-up pit bull. Like the saying goes, though: "Every dog has its day." Maybe with a little help, Miguel can turn the saying into a reality.

Brenda Hampton has done it again. Some say it's easy to keep a series going because you have a "personal" relationship already with your characters. Hampton has put the Jaylin series (Two's Enough, Three's a Crowd) to the side along with the Kiley series (How Can I Be Down?). Now what? You can't get more talented than her.

I checked this title out from the library on CD to listen to during long drives. Infidelity tropes are already overdone, but I figured this would have its own spin to it. But I could not like Isaac at all. When his wife cheated with a man who was just as awful as he was, I gave up listening.

The ups and downs of couple trying to hold on to a marriage that is on its last leg...

For Cydney and Isaac, the honeymoon phase is definitely over. After being married for some time, they are going through a very rough patch. Fueled with infidelity, the mantra of 'what's good for the goose is good for the gander' is well used. But when other motives come into play, they will both wish they never played the tit for tat game.

This book had a lot of drama which never seemed to let up. I'm use to that type of plot, however something just seemed to be missing here: that element of pacing. There needed to be some lulls but it seemed to happen at the very end which threw the book off for me.
It just seemed to be all over the place and some scenes really pushed the envelope and were questionable. I tried to find the intention behind such hate from the antagonist, but It just didn't make sense why he would fuel so much hate. And there really wasn't a protagonist imo; I disliked Issac from jump and started to think Cydney was too naive and just the same as her husband.

Brenda Hampton has done it again!

I haven't read a book by Brenda Hampton that I didn't enjoy. This one is no different. Through all of the ups and downs in their marriage, Isaac and Cydney made their way back to each other. No one can truly say what they will or won't put up with until they're actually in a certain predicament.

With sex, lies, corrupt cops and bad decisions... "Two Wrongs Don't Make A Right" is an unpredictable lesson in poor communication. Once the trust is broken, Cydney holds out on the goods while Isaac gets it EVERYWHERE else. Now the two are playing an ugly & hurtful game of "Two Wrongs Don't Make a Right."

Bravo! Brenda Hampton has gained a new fan!

Cydney is a career woman who is tired of her husband Isaac, and his philandering ways. Along with his partner Miguel, hislife as a member of the STL Police Department, allows him a lot of free time and opportunity to live on the other side of the law.

When Cydney gets fed up, she seeks a little revenge of her own, which leads to nothing but trouble.

Nobody can be trusted in this book!

As a lover of books penned by @brendahampton_1, I never thought I would would temporarily forget about my first love, Jaylin Jerome Rogers, but this definitely did it for me. I highly recommend this 💎💎💎💎💎 book to all avid readers.

Amazing

This is one of my favorite Authors. I've read plenty of her books over the years and as always I've never been disappy. Issac and Cydney had a troubling and unhealthy marriage. Issac allowed his job as a Police officer to fuel his trifling ways and made excuses to justify his actions. Cydney thought getting revenge on her husband would be satisfying until they both were hit with some hard truth's and realized that they both were a puppet in someone else's game. Miguel seemed to be a little jealous of Isaac and used his conniving ways to get payback.

This was a good read and there were definitely a lot of ups and downs between Sydney and Issac. A lot of things that may be unforgivable for some, found a way to be come forgivable and different times in the relationship, only to be revisited again. Some things that I predicted to happen, didn't happen, and I kind of wish they did. The ending may have been one that some readers really wanted, but it wasn't what I was looking for. At any rate, some of the advice given was actually good advice for couples who may find their relationships in trouble or heading towards it. Good book.

The Goodreads synopsis did NOT match the book. The actual book was full of hurt people hurting people. The main characters had no redeeming qualities. I listened to the entire book hoping for Karma to step in. Smh. I’m soooo sorry that they ended up together. Cynde although she wasn’t perfect, deserved better than her lying cheating no good husband.

Wrong is Wrong is Wrong!

Isaac and Cydney Conley are living in anything but marital bliss. Isaac, a police officer, loves his wife. He does. But that doesn't stop him from "loving" all the fine women of St. Louis. After all, who can resist a sexy man in a uniform with a big stick?!?! Officer Conley protects and SERVES!

Cydney loves her husband. She does. Unhappy and tired of the numerous indiscretions, Cydney decides what's good for the goose is good for the gander and has a few rendezvous of her own.

And then, it happens. Jump offs no longer want to play their positions. Secrets are exposed. Lies are uncovered. Feelings are hurt. Betrayal is in the air. And revenge is sweet. Two wrongs definitely don't make a right.

Brenda Hampton is a remarkable talent. With nine books under her belt, her creativity, ability to create juicy, drama filled plots and unforgettable characters has not waned. She tells stories like no other, giving readers an up close and personal look into lives filled with sex, heartache and melodrama.

Damn good book!!!!

First of all let me just say I absolutely love Brenda Hampton and any and everything she writes is always good. The book was very enlightening and gave great insight as to what couples go thru when they lose they're way in relationships. They were hurting each other by not communicating with each other. But they're love for each other kept them hanging on to each other even when things were really bad between them. In the end it worked out for them and it was a great story!!!! Trust me Brenda Hampton never disappoints.......

This booked was awesome front start to finish. I couldn't put it down. I knew something was up with Raymond and that Miguel was crazy but I never predicted the ending. Glad Isaac and Cydney came out on top in the end.

LOVED it

Drama filled and good. I was definitely fustrated with Cydney for putting up with all the cheating and low down thing Issac was doing, but she very much like a lot of women , so this was a realistic book.
