To be fair, this book was very well written, moved along smoothly and the ambiance of the book was wonderful. I was right there with the heroine, in the middle with all the mobsters and betrayal. Vincent is dark and possessive and Abbigail's  innocence draws him in even though she knows he is a mobster. Lucas is a true apha-male, DEA, Special Force with trust issues and a great deal of wishy-washy." he said he was not going to stop trying to make Abbigail his but he run away at the first conflict between them. Abbgail was confusing at times and she was presented as a s**t. It's amazing how she could sleep with one brother and love him(Vincent) then sleep with the other brother and say she love him(Lucas)?? In this story there are so many points when you are asking how are they ever going to get together? How will they ever work it out? There was several twist and turn which left the reader confused at times and requiring more clarification.The shooting spree was hurried along with minor questions unanswered and should be cleared up as well as several editing errors which was minor compared to others I've read!!! IMO, Someone should slap the s**t out of or brust a cap in Mitchell a**...JUST SAYING!!!! The ending was lifted with another cliffhanger, but I shall wait for book 3. Great Job DB, remember stay focus!!

An Explosive Must Read

Wow, what a way to continue the series. Book 2 in the Club Vietato Series has more drama, more suspense, more action, all mixed with the chemistry that keeps building between Abby and Vincent.
Abby and Vincent have a forbidden attraction. She’s a lawyer and he is the Sicilian mob boss’s son who is in charge of the US operations based out of St. Louis. Their worlds collided in book one and the fireworks continue in book 2. Not just personal fireworks but the aftermath of their worlds colliding spark an all out war. He will do whatever he has to to protect her while she remains the strong, outspoken, she is.
This is an amazing series. DB Canavan has expanded on the intensity of the De Santis crime family and Abby’s world within the legal system. Organized crime, dirty politicians, and federal law enforcement collide in an explosion of fortune and power. I cannot wait to see how Abby and Vincent’s story concludes in book 3.

A brilliant follow up to the first book in the series. I have to say i have been waiting for this book to be released for a while and i wasn't disappointed. The story continues between Vincent, Lucas and Abbigail, but it is so much more than that, there is a story within a story it's brilliant and well written. The story twists and turns and the whole 'Mafia, Mobster' vibe is brilliant. I love that Abbigail is a feisty, no holds barred woman who speaks her mind. The whole corruption within the government and gang warfare aspect make it even more appealing for me, taking it out of a standard genre' and placing into several that will appeal to lots of different people. A brilliant story line, one smart, kick arse female, two alpha males, corrupt politicians, slimy lawyers, the FBI and DEA, leagues of Mafia and a Cartel, what's not to like? As i always say it won't be to every ones taste, but for me it was a brilliant second book, the only downside for me was it finished to quickly and leaves you on a cliff hanger, i will definitely be purchasing book 3. ;-)

Keeps getting better and better!

Abby is such a stubborn and kick@## chick, between keeping her clients safe from evil men and the men that love her doing the same for her, makes this a great read
