Stones of Scotland #3

Time of the Highlander

Rate this book
She’s never truly belonged. Until now.

Stranded in eighteenth-century Scotland, Brigid Knight finds an unexpected ally in a gruff Highland laird. But what begins as a marriage of convenience might turn into the love—and the home—she’s been searching for all along.

Brigid Knight grew up knowing her family kept extraordinary secrets. But nothing prepares her for being stranded in eighteenth-century Scotland, cut off from everything—and everyone—she has ever known.

When Alexander MacLeod, a wary Highland laird, offers his protection through a marriage of convenience, Brigid has little choice but to accept. What starts as a simple arrangement soon tangles into something much more complicated—and far more dangerous—as Brigid’s hidden gifts draw the attention of a ruthless enemy.

Professor Edmondson, once trusted by her mother Kara, will stop at nothing to control Brigid’s rare abilities for his own dark purposes. As danger closes in, Brigid must rely on her reluctant husband—and the fierce new family she’s found—to survive.

But falling for a man from the past was never part of her plan… and when the time comes, Brigid will have to return to the life she once knew, or build a new future with the man who’s captured her heart.

Tremendous read.

Enjoyed this travel in time story, first one I read. It was quite exciting, romantic, caring, loving, and quite different. Brother and sister loving and helping each other. Shows families still care for one another. Really enjoyed this story. Thanks so much for a good read. Diane DeMoulin
