Stealing the Laird's Heart: An Enemies to Lovers Historical Romance

Rate this book
"No one touches my wife. Not while I breathe."

Marie Drummond rides to MacCraith Keep with her clan's betrayal written into the walls. Her grandfather left the Laird's grandfather to die in battle, and now she's the price of peace.

Marcus MacCraith wants a Drummond dead, not in his bed. Then he puts a wooden sword in her hand, and his thumb finds the pulse at her wrist.

He kisses her in a loch. When a villager draws a blade on her, he nearly kills the man in the square.

Then he collapses at her feet, poisoned, and the elders say a Drummond did it again.

Could not put it down!

Kira writes so beautiful & real about a relationship starting out with prejudice, proceeding to understanding & love. Marcus & Marie’s story was so heartwarming to fall into. Marcus teaching her sword work was perfect. Plenty of danger & learning to stay strong!! Love her books!

Enjoyable book. I will read more of Kira Ferguson. 😊

A wonderful read. Proofing it doesn't have to be full of sex to be a great book.

Two clans combined

This book keeps you on your toes. Two clans are joined to make an alliance from past wars. There is a villain out there but so far not captured. Can't wait for next book.
