What would you do if you woke up to a different life?
A different face?
A different name?
But you remember who you really are.

AnnaLee Johnson awakens from rolling her truck into a ditch into a world of nightmares. She’s no longer herself, told her name is Katherine, and is now in some mysterious school where it seems the ultimate goal is turning amnesiac teens into some kind of super soldiers. The only problem: AnnaLee remembers who she once was. And only one guy believes her.

“No weakness, only strength. Rely on no one.”

“Clover Autrey’s books are perfect for the time-constrained reader. They are a quick read jam-packed with action, adventure and emotion.”

A high school English teacher by day, Clover Autrey writes the kind of stories she loves to read; strong and smart characters who are willing to fight for what they believe and the people they love. She is the author of the HIGHLAND SORCERY series and the CHAPEL PINES series with a new series about ARMY RANGER BILLIONAIRES coming soon.

Clover has served as the president of the Keller Writers Association and the North Texas Romance Writers of America.

Inspired by her love of Louis L'Amour historical romantic heroes, Clover (yeah, that's her real name), packed up and moved to Texas where she found a real live Texan of her own. She's been there ever since where she and Pat (who else would a Clover marry but a Patrick?) listen to the coyotes howl at the trains each evening.

I felt sorry for Annalee/Katherine in this, as it would be really scary waking up from an accident and being called another name, and having a different face.

This wasn't a bad read, but I felt bored at times. The story really dragged in areas, which made me lose interest a bit.

The ending was okay, and got my interest back, but it still wasn't anything more than a three star read for me.

Loved this book. It kept me up to 3 AM when I finished it. Reminded me of the Maximum Ride books by James Patterson.

I loved this book! I started reading it while making dinner, and then couldn't put it down. I finished it in one sitting. I've read a few of Ms. Autrey's books, but I truly believe this one is where she finds her voice. I can't wait to see what comes next!

The plot is interesting and captivating but the main heroin... Ught! She is sooo not acting like someone with above the average IQ. A lot less whining and a lot more planning would have done her some good.
