Toni Morrison has long been my favorite author. This book was interesting and informative but somewhat repetitive.

This book is an excellent introduction for young readers interested in American legends, acclaimed authors, and black American educators. The book provides a great background of Ms. Morrison’s early years, family life, education, career, and additional biographical information of a fantastic author. I think this is an excellent book for young teens.
