This dark romance blends thriller with mystery in a dark college setting. The FMC comes from a villainous family that is trying to control her by sending her to this elite isolated academy that is full of the spawn of the rich and powerful. There, monsters lurk in every corner 👀😈 but dark places like this is where she thrives! At first there are multiple love interests, as our FMC is promiscuous and uses seduction as a weapon 👀 however the story has a slow burn romance! I love the mysterious yet alluring Erik Stone.

ARC Review

Dark, twisted, and absolutely addictive — Stalk Me is not your average stalker romance, and that’s exactly what makes it unforgettable. This story grabs you by the throat from page one and doesn’t let go.

Luna is a heroine like no other — strong in her own broken way, surviving under the control of two of the most chilling “villains” you’ll read: her own parents. Thrown into an elite private school meant to cover up scandals for the rich and powerful, Luna’s life is controlled, manipulated, and monitored with terrifying precision. But then comes Erik. Grey eyes, muscle, patience, and a mind like a blade — he’s not here to save her, he’s here to help her save herself. He sees past her walls, calls out the lies she tells to stay safe, and becomes the one person she might be able to trust.

The chemistry? Electric. The tension? Knife-sharp. The plot? A dark spiral of power, corruption, secrets, and survival.

This book hits hard. You’ll cry, rage, laugh, and definitely hold your breath more than once. It’s emotionally heavy, brutally honest, and beautifully written. The trauma is real, the healing is powerful, and the ending is deeply satisfying.

Trigger Warnings: Yes, lots. And if you’re like me, that’s a menu, not a deterrent. But seriously — check them.

If you love dark romance that pushes boundaries and gives you characters who fight tooth and nail for freedom and love, Stalk Me needs to be on your radar!

This book had me from page one! what a way to start a book! This wasn't the classic stalker read it was much more. Her writing is impeccable, and it flows cohesively throughout the entire book. This book is not typically my normal read, so I went in with slight hesitation, but her writing subsided the hesitation right away. Luna is a crazy bad ass and the unhinged things that she said and did just made the book that much more fun to read. The author really knew how to make you feel the emotions and drag you deeper into the story. Definitely would recommend this if you like those fast-paced reads!

The book instantly captures your attention from the first page, as it’s filled with suspense, thrill, its fast pace and sparks your curiosity. The story is from Luna’s pov and the author did a job in the flow of scenes, her writing style easy to read. The author had a great ability to make you feel what the characters were feeling and proving a sense of understanding. I recommend checking the trigger warnings as there are dark themes and situations that come up but the story ends on a hopefully and loving note. I recommend reading it as you like tropes such as secret society, badass FMC, supportive MMC, protective, bullying, mental health and open door spice.

WOW..... Check Your Triggers!!!!

Stalk Me is book one of the Domination Game Series and is a dark romance with college bullying. This is the story of Luna and Erik. Luna is broken in so many ways and refuses to let Erik get too close to her in her messed up world. Erik is sweet as can be and has no intentions of pushing Luna too far, but he wants to be there for her. He is so gentle and understanding!! This book is full of twists and turns and is quite an end-of-your-seat page-turner!!!!! So many emotions were felt throughout this book. It is very very dark so you have been warned!!

Academia Romance meets Gossip Girl on meth—set on a private island where rich kids get sent to be either “fixed” or further broken.

Let’s get this straight—this book is pure unhinged delicious chaos. Stalk Me is like biting into a chocolate truffle and realizing it’s filled with pepper spray and unresolved trauma. You might cough, you might cry, but you’re definitely going back for seconds.

Our heroine, Luna Queen? Imagine if Veruca Salt got therapy and then weaponized her trauma. She’s damaged, dangerous, and dresses like Prada’s revenge. From emotionally hollow boat sex in a bathroom to high-stakes hallway power plays, she’s not here to make friends—she’s here to survive… or burn it all down. Whichever’s quicker.

The setting? Shark Bay University. Think Hogwarts if Voldemort won and the Ministry funded it. The students are vile, the adults are worse, and the vibe is elite boarding school meets psychological torture chamber. Seriously, it’s a miracle no one’s drowned in a Chanel clutch yet.

The spice? Oh, baby. We’re not talking slow-burn. We’re talking light-it-on-fire-and-watch-it-scream. Whether it’s bathroom trysts, lap grinding, or full-on exhibitionist scenes, the spice is filthy, fierce, and emotionally freighted. There’s pain mixed in with every orgasm—and I say that with admiration.

The villain girlies? Iconic. Belle Gallagher is equal parts sorority succubus and blackmail Barbie. She’d sell your soul in exchange for a slightly better Instagram ratio and look flawless doing it. And the boys? Vicious, horny, and deeply morally compromised. Just how we like them.

Is it realistic? Absolutely not. But realism is for taxes and dental appointments. This is unhinged escapism dressed in silk lingerie and whispered threats.

Why it slaps:
• The writing is sharp and vicious.
• The spice is top-tier and unapologetically graphic.
• Luna is a chaotic, brilliant mess of a heroine you want to throat-punch and protect.

Why it might wreck your soul:
• The themes are heavy—emotional abuse, manipulation, stalking, and psychological warfare aren’t just subtext; they are the text.
• You’re going to crave the next book like it’s laced with fentanyl.

Final thought: If Euphoria, Cruel Intentions, and Pretty Little Liars had a feral love child raised by revenge porn and dirty martinis, this would be it.

Read it if you like: Unapologetically damaged heroines, filthy-smart dark academia, enemies-to-lust-with-a-side-of-homicidal-energy, and stories where therapy would absolutely be beneficial but no one’s doing it.

Skip it if: You’re here for sweetness, slow burn, or characters with healthy boundaries.

Would I recommend it? If you want messy, messy spice and a heroine who weaponizes her emotional trauma like stilettos at a funeral? Hell yes. Just remember to hydrate.

I received this as an ARC and am writing this review because I chose too. Now, this book is one of the best secret society books I have read. It’s a mix of secret society , isolated island college for the privileged with a gothic vibe and organized crime twist to it . It has very steamy scenes but they’re also filled with a sadness. Luna is a strong woman but not cold, although she wears her coldness and cruelty like a coat of armor. The book is from her POV and I could feel her intense pain. Her life is truly a living hell. Then at this prison like school enters Eric. A man with a soul that would be there for her without pushing her. He made my heart swoon and their dynamics are so powerful and romantic it really touched me. This book is about surviving the horrors that Luna goes through. It’s a story of survival, sweet revenge and facing those that so deeply traumatized her with the undying support of Eric. It’s about the will to go after her most vile torturers and sweet revenge. It kept me at the edge of my seat and my emotions went from sadness to anger to crying over and over again. It’s so well written because the Author drew me in to this couples lives as if I was standing there witnessing it happen! Even though it’s about Luna’s trauma anyone that has suffered with PTSD will find the path she chose to healing and the battles with herself to achieve healing as something I could relate too. Luna is someone I wanted to slap at times and at other times cry with her and comfort her. The HEA is absolutely flawlessly written because it’s a HEA that made me feel hope and cry and at one point say “ holy hell I didn’t see that coming!” You won’t be disappointed when you read this!

I guess it’s my week for stalkers. This gripping dark romance perfectly blends thriller vibes with a sprinkle of mystery, all set against the backdrop of an elite, remote academy.

Luna Queen comes from a seriously villainous family that is determined to mold her into someone they can control, so they send her away to Shark Bay University. Monsters are everywhere to make her life a living hell. But this isn’t a place to be afraid; it’s where she triumphs. Rather than cower from the darkness, she embraces it, and that’s where things get juicy.

Luna’s heartbreaking despair and resignation to her fate drew me in. The loneliness, the fear, and the panic are palpable as she squares her shoulders and puts her game face on for what darkness awaits her. She’s unapologetically promiscuous, using her charm and seductive prowess as weapons. But just as you’re settling into this whirlwind of sexual entanglements, the story takes a turn toward a slow-burning romance.

Erik Stone is the enigma of this tale. He’s mysterious, alluring, and oh-so-intriguing, and the kind of guy you can’t help but root for. His presence adds layers to the plot as he befriends Luna, leaving you guessing about his true intentions. Is he a monster, or a misunderstood knight in dark armor? You’ll have to read to find out.

This book encapsulates what it’s like to be lost, broken, and trying to break free from the chains of horrid family secrets while navigating the treacherous waters of an elite society. The tension is palpable, the stakes are high, and the allure of what lurks in the shadows kept me flipping pages late into the night.

Although it begins in despair, the story ultimately delivers a message of hope, love, and the triumph of good over evil. Read with caution!

Thank you to Ms. Thorn for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.

I’m a little late on my review, but I received an ARC for my honest review!

I am a thriller girlie through and through. Always my first love and my go to genre. The cutesy romance just doesn’t do it for me, so dark romance has a special place in my heart. There is something to be said in how you can carry yourself with trauma. You can let it define you or you define yourself in the process.

The premise of this book is placed in what I call a secret society, gossip girl meets tell me lies meets rykers island but goth or punk vibes.

The book is told through Lunas POV, who is one of many students that have been sent away due to expulsions, behaviors, or whatever other matters. Their parents are over it and these kids are hurting. Luna puts up a strong, brave face, and she is a chaotic, brilliant mess. I love her so much.

This isn’t as dark as some that I’ve read, but it definitely hits the spots. I love the cross between a slow burn romance and a thriller into one (and I do NOT like slow burns) and the writing was exceptional.

I’d definitely read more from the author and can’t wait to do so!

Devestaingly beautiful

Devastation Game Book 1

This is not your usual bully stalker romance. This book is gut-wrenching, intense, unhinged, and full of devastation. It's not for the faint of heart, there are many difficult topics explored. I found myself completely enthralled by this story and couldn't read it fast enough. The book is delivered from the FMCs first person POV. Luna Queen is jaded in many ways but her claws are sharp and she is viciously unafraid to use her body and willingly be the villain. The plot is riddled with mystery, suspense, and emotional manipulation.

"...that's the thing about chess—the queen may look decorative, but she's the most dangerous piece on the board."

Erik our MMC seems to be the only lifeline in the hell Luna is in. The development of their relationship was the light in the darkness of this story. Their deep connection was full of heartache.

Review: Stalk Me by Vivienne L. Thorn — ★★★☆☆

Luna Queen arrives at Shark Bay University only to find herself pulled into a dangerous web of secrets, elite power plays, and a sinister secret society. When Erik Stone becomes obsessed with her, the situation turns terrifying fast; Luna’s family, reputation, and sense of safety are all manipulated as blackmail and control creep into every corner of campus life. The story reads like a dark college-bully romance with plenty of edge and emotional payoff.

This was a disturbing but compelling read. The tension landed, several characters show real growth, and the central conflict feels chillingly believable in today’s world of secrets and social power dynamics. Fair warning: there are multiple trigger points the book does not hold back on heavy material.

I gave it three stars. Pacing dragged for me in places, which kept this from being a four-star read, but it was a solid, shorter story overall. It kept enough hooks in place that I’m already starting book two.

If you like dark, messed-up campus romances where obsession and control get all the air time, this will hit the spot just go in knowing it’s rough in parts.

Luna Queen — the cold-hearted, vicious “crazy bitch.” At least, that’s what she wants the world to see. It’s a carefully constructed illusion, a persona crafted for survival. But beneath that icy exterior… is that truly who she is?

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Genre: Dark Romance

Tropes:
✅️ Ruthless & damaged FMC
✅️ Dark Secrets Society
✅️ Trauma
✅️ Dark Gothic College
✅️ Blackmail & Betrayal
✅️ Persistent MMC

Darkness Level: 💀💀💀.7

⚠️ TW - N0n c0n/DubC0n, drug use, s3xual exploitation. Please check the TW page.

Storyline: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The story kicks off with Luna being sent to Shark Bay University, a secluded island school that’s more a prison for the rebellious and the ruthless than a vacation destination. It’s where the rich and dangerous offspring of powerful, often criminal families go to disappear. At Shark Bay, it’s not about education, it’s about survival. And Queen isn’t here to make friends. She’s here to dominate.

But then there’s him — the mysterious, grey-eyed stranger. Smooth, unreadable, and just as dangerous. What game is he playing? And who is bold enough to step into the emotionally stormy waters surrounding the Ice Queen?

Characters: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Right from the start, we get a glimpse of Luna in all her cold, calculated glory. She uses sex as a weapon, wielding it like a sledgehammer, indifferent to the destruction it leaves in its wake. I love seeing a character portrayed from the other side, the "villain," so to speak. Her inner monologue adds depth, revealing the turmoil and vulnerability she won’t allow anyone else to see.

Then there’s Erik dominant, aloof, and magnetic. He slips into the story with quiet confidence and a clear mission: play her game... and win.

What I LOVED about this book🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
What truly sets Stalk Me apart is Luna, the "villain" we rarely get to see in this light. Experiencing the story through her perspective was refreshing, intense, and utterly captivating. Luna, or Queen, isn't your typical cold-hearted antagonist; she's a beautifully complex character layered with pain, anger, and survival instincts sharpened by trauma. Her fierce, ruthless persona is not who she is it’s her armour, a shield she’s built to protect herself from a world that’s done nothing but hurt her. Watching her manipulate, control, and push people away while silently unravelling inside was both heartbreaking and fascinating. I loved every moment of it. Seeing a woman wield power with unapologetic dominance while still showing glimpses of the broken pieces she hides makes her feel so real and raw.

Things I noticed:
There was some noticeable repetition in the writing. While it didn’t significantly detract from the overall experience, it was still noticable. I also would have liked more development from the side characters, I felt they weren’t explored enough.

⚠️Content Warning: This book explores dark and potentially triggering themes. Reader discretion is strongly advised.

But I absolutely loved this book! This book was insane.

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse they did. They got so much worse. It was crazy the levels in this book.

And this character. Oh, I wish I was that strong. I've tried to hide me emotions and be the perfect person, I really have, but I never could do it. It's too hard. But she's like crazy good at it.

And oh my god, the whole mess of everything that is her life in this book. I ate up every second.

It was awful and horrifying, but I could not stop turning the page. I needed to know what would happen next and if things would turn out alright.

While the ending is a bit on the slower side, I felt it was necessary and I liked just how much closure we get as the reader right alongside the protagonist. It felt like I went through everything with her and also needed to pick up the pieces once everything was over.

By far one of my absolutely favourites!

I picked up this book as an ARC from an author I had never read before. The blurb looked interesting, so I thought I'd give it a read, and by god, I'm glad I did. The story had me drawn in from the very beginning.

The things that Luna has had to endure and is still enduring at the hands of others. But the worst of it, it's orchestrated by the ones who should be by her side, to love and cherish her, to protect and safeguard her well-being. But in Luna's world, money, control, leverage, and blackmail are the currency of the rich. The more power they have, the more they want and crave it.

Luna has no one but herself; her parents make sure of that, using any means necessary to control her and her environment. But is this time different? Can she let others in to help her, or has she doomed them to the same fate as hers?

All I can say is that I think this book is definitely worth the 5* rating.

This book was so good!!! It a Romantic Thriller in my opinion.

What do you do when everything you do is monitored?

Luna is our female character who is sent to Shark Bay as a punishment for getting to close to someone and revealing some of her struggles with her family. She is a very strong fmc to endure what she did throughout her life.

Erik is our MMC who is at Shark Bay due to bad publicity for the family. He is quiet, dominant and only wants to help Luna who pushes him away all the time.

This book had me crying, screaming into my Kindle and happy for the outcome. Luna has had so much hurt in her life all because of her messed up family. If you read this please check the trigger warnings because it can be triggering to some.

I can't wait for the second book in the series to come out.

✨ARC REVIEW✨

Before we dive in, I want to clarify that this isn’t a “why choose” or poly-centered story. The main character does have multiple casual partners throughout the book, but it ultimately leads to a committed, monogamous relationship.

Now that that’s out of the way—I really enjoyed this book! While it leans more toward thriller and mystery than romance, the plot was gripping from start to finish. It had me on edge in the best way. The romance, though a slow burn, is absolutely worth the wait. It’s the kind of quiet, steady love that catches the protagonist by surprise and offers her something rare: safety and tenderness.

Definitely check the trigger warnings before diving in, but if you’re a fan of mystery with a touch of romance, this one’s for you. It doesn’t have Haunting Adeline or Lights Out vibes, but it’s a solid, captivating read—especially impressive for a debut indie author.

If you end up reading it, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Thank you Vivienne L. Thorn for giving me the possibility to read this arc through BookSirens.

What a ride! This was so much more than I thought. It started as an unhinged version of Gossip Girl and turned into a dark mystery thriller. I was instantly captured by the damaged and tortured FMC, who showed quite quickly how good her seduction skills are and how easy it is, to get what she wanted.

But to find out all the things that led her to become this version of herself… was a wild journey. Definitely check the trigger warnings, because there are some very unhinged moments.

I really enjoyed the character development the FMC made throughout the book, and how absolutely wonderful and supportive the MMC is.

This book is about power, manipulation and fear. A book about choices being taken away and choices being taken back. Amazing!!

SURVIVAL. SECRETS. LIES.

Oh the tangled webs we weave in an attempt to gain power and control.

An FMC fighting against monsters of the worst kind. Swimming with sharks while bleeding and still finding the resilience to reach into the deepest, darkest wells of hope to survive.

An MMC who sees her for all that she is beneath the facade. An equally tormented target of the malice their world contains; clinging to hope and desperately trying to save her from the dark, hoping to find love under smoldering remnants.

I. LIVED.

20/10.

I'm not gonna lie, this was a little difficult for me to read.

Luna Queen is sent to Shark Bay University because her parents sent her there to get her act together and are watching her every move. Any misbehavior or relationship formed from friendship or romantic her parents will know and will do anything to isolate Luna. It isn't until Erik Stone introduces himself to Luna and he sees something in her, that she doesn't see in herself, but will try his hardest for her to see and realize she more than what her parents make her out to be.

FYI - this is not a why choose romance.

This book is so amazing and I can’t wait to read the next one!! Whew!! What a cat and mouse game 🤯 This one had me feeling a lot of different emotions!! The FMC, Luna Queen, is such a badass 🖤 Her highly terrible parents have exiled her to the island for misfit toys, Shark Bay University. Luna has to play the game and mask her emotions. She accomplishes this by having meaningless sex with other male students. Everyone is there because their parents want them gone. Eventually, Luna meets Erik….Her knight in shining armor?? Or just another villain in her story?? 😉😍 This story is dark and full of twists and turns!! Such a rollercoaster ride 🖤
I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK 💙🦋🩵

This one didn’t quite land for me. The title feels misleading—I feel like there are more appropriate titles that would best better suited for this book. Yes there is stalking but that’s not the premise of the book.

I also felt like the story was missing a significant amount of backstory. A lot of this story is based around the FMCs upbringing which felt underdeveloped, making it hard to fully connect or feel immersed. On top of that, the narrative became repetitive at times, and the book could have been much shorter without losing anything essential. I don’t really get into the book until I was about 50-60% through.

That said, this is an extremely high-trigger read. Readers should proceed with caution.

Trigger warnings include:

Sexual abuse
Rape
Human trafficking
Mention of the rape of a child

Overall, the concept had potential, but the execution fell flat for me. With more depth, clearer focus, and tighter pacing, this could have been a stronger read.

Talk about getting right to it within the first few pages. Stalk me has you hooked from the first few pages. I really enjoyed Lisa’s journey, and what didn’t she go through. Sweet, sweet Erick is all I’m going to say. Don’t want to spoil anything. But he was truly the light at the end of the tunnel. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I felt like Alex was just portrayed in the same picture each time he was brought up, we didn’t really know anything more about him until the end with the closure. Overall I enjoyed the book and excited to read any other books Vivienne writes.

Arc reader— I personally love the book, but I feel like the trigger warning list should have expressed everything. Hopefully it’s fixed before publish but everything in the book had a really good conclusion. I don’t think it’s a why choose it’s kind of like a love triangle, but the other guy is not in the picture till the last couple chapters. Her writing was really easy to read. I got through the book really fast. It’s a good book if you’re trying to get out of a reading slump, but overall, I love the book.

This book broke my heart. The author done great in describing the plot. You can feel the emotional damage and rage from Luna. Erik has that “I’m gonna save you from yourself even if you tell me no.” I absolutely love the Queen B attitude and how she tried to take down Belle. I don’t like Belle. She’s too fake even after finding out the real reason she’s trying to take Luna down. Erik is a perfect gentleman all the way through this book. Definitely worth the read.
