This was such a cool concept. To be honest I thought this was going in a different direction than it actually did but I think that’s more my fault. However, it was still really fun and entertaining ride. I do think some inconsistencies need to be edited, and my own personal issue I feel like the characters should have been older. But other than that, I 10/10 recommend this

The Wild by Kristin Buoni completely blew me away! The plot was not at all what I expected — and I mean that in the best way possible. Once again, this author managed to blend secret societies, dark romance, and suspense into something entirely unique, putting an unexpected spin on a genre I already love.
Just like The Hunt, I absolutely adored the FMC in this book. She’s independent, strong, and resourceful, but also hiding secrets of her own — ones I genuinely didn’t see coming. Every reveal added a new layer to her character, and I loved uncovering them piece by piece. And the MMC… woof. He can chase me through the woods anytime. The chemistry between them was unreal — equal parts tension, danger, and passion that had me holding my breath more than once.
From the very first chapter, the plot pulled me in and didn’t let go. It stayed engaging, fast-paced, and full of twists all the way through. I devoured this book because I had to know what happened next.
If I had one tiny wish, it’s that the ending could’ve been a little more developed — but even so, it wrapped up in a satisfying way that left me grinning and already wanting more.
This was an addictive, thrilling, and emotional read that deserves every bit of its five stars. The Wild proves once again that Kristin Buoni is an author (authors) who knows exactly how to keep readers on the edge of their seats — and their hearts racing.

As soon as I read the blurb I was excited. This book was a great read. Secret society, plane crash and being stuck in the wilderness of Canadian with your enemy- who you’re attracted to and have definite chemistry with- and also might want you dead, check, check, and check!
There were some parts in the very beginning I struggled to stay interested in, but mostly I found myself anxious for what was to come, especially after the plane crashed! At that point I was hooked and couldn’t put it down. My only complaint is that I wanted more from Landon’s pov. We only get a couple chapters towards the end that are in his pov, the rest of the book is from Aria’s pov. So I was disappointed by that because I love, and need, both characters perspectives. I like knowing what’s going on in their heads. But overall this was a good read, loved the characters, I loved the suspense, and I especially loved the ending. That epilogue was perfect! I’ve read all of Kristin’s books and would definitely recommend them!

This was a first time read for this author but I think I’ll be reading more of her work! This book is full of twists and turns and deceit and deception. Power plays and plane crash and survival in the wilderness. All while daddy dearest is running for re-election. The vibes between Landon and Aria sizzle through that pages.

Aria and Landon have a story filled with darkness, grit and determination, power and control, enemies to lovers, secret society, spice and so much more. That they manage to make it through is a testament to their determination and maybe a little luck too. Dark but so good.

I loved all the things about this story! I might have liked to know a little more about some people at the end but it doesn’t ruin the ending just a personal preference!
It had spice, good plot, scary moments, high action moments and intrigue for days!

Unique plot but I didn’t care about any of the characters. The entire story arc felt forced and I skimmed the second half of the book.
