Aoi has been depressed and struggling with his mental health for years now. Visha had no other choice but to flee from his foster home and tempt fate by waiting on a sidewalk on Christmas Eve. He didn’t expect much from his bold move but when a ravishing young man finds him in the cold and offers to shelter him, Visha knows one thing for sure. He is ready to risk his life to stay with the only person who ever showed him kindness.

wow just wow!

it's one of the best books I've read.

Contains Spoilers!

They are soulmates fr!!
Visha being vulnerable and Aoi being the most understanding person makes them even more perfect

The reason I loved this book was that the characters were emotionally connected with each other which was so well written and demonstrated by the author

Another point to be mentioned is that the book does not concentrate on smut scenes but rather is a beautiful representation of unrequited love by Aoi who is ready to sacrifice anything for Visha and Visha's happiness.

Even though Visha is a kid of 12-15 years he has gone through so much in his life and he is matured enough to understand some situations.

Aoi might be a sunshine on the outside but the grief of his family's death is eating him up alive . He feels that everyone he loved and cared are taken away from him no matter what. So he feels that he dosent deserve any happiness and tries to end his life. But God has different planss!

I should metion Olivia . a great friend

Jason -Omfg . He is such an assho-
He literally groomed Aoi . Very cunning and he does anything to have Aoi by his side.
He hates Visha😭

The most hated character by me - Bellami
What kind of a brother is he?Disgusting .
He wants to take Visha with him so he blackmails him ?!?!?!😭 Feeling bad for both Aoi and Visha.

The chapters in which Aoi and Visha fight were so sad😭 When Aoi said Visha that he's happy that he's leaving , I teared up😭
I know Aoi had his own reasons but still I feel bad for Visha
The worst part is in the morning he doesn't remember what he spoke as he was drunk 😭
Godd the cliffhanger 😭😭

I'm already waiting for the next part😭

This book is perfect for a debut author.

This book is a 10/10 for me

I enjoyed this book. I need the second one now, in my hands immediately. The character Dymainc was so good, it showed how some people view those who helped them differently. along with how people view what they went through in a different light. Visha fell in love with Aoi as a lover, while Aoi fell in love with Visha as a sibling. While there is no romance in this book due to the age gap, seeing Visha hopelessly in love with Aoi hurt. knowing that his feelings were getting dissmised just because he is young.

5 ⭐️

Soaring Tide is a story that explores mental health (particularly depression), trauma and abuse, found family, compassion, resilience, and healing through connection.

It’s a beautiful story of a man taking care of someone greatly in need of kindness. The more time they spend together, the more Visha’s love grows.

The ending left me heartbroken and desperate for more. I can’t wait for book two.

⭐️3,5 (I think)
Writing style wasn’t my favourite (I didnt highlight anything which kinda tells a lot for me) but was I hooked and read the whole thing in one sitting? Yes. The story is very fast paced but luckily still not insta-love. I felt so frustrated many times reading this, especially everything to do with Jason, he is such a piece of shit and I just can’t understand how Aoi defends him after everything. I think there was a lot of unnecessary drama and I question a lot for example Aoi's reactions to things -also some of the conversations were a bit all over the place. The emotions in this book gave me whiplashes for sure. Its very hard to see how the relationship will form between Aoi and Visha but I’m definitely here for it and cant wait for the next book.
