Midnight Circus is a seasonally published literary magazine featuring short stories, poetry, and illustrations. Fall 2014 - While the Moon Shines. Poems and stories from an amazing group of writers which all take place...While the Moon Shines.
I'm always excited for the new issue of this magazine to come out, thinking about the theme and wondering what the various writers came up with. I've never been disappointed yet, and I'm certainly not disappointed now. Really, night is just darker than the day. However, we have a fascination with it. We fill it with our imaginings. That's the interesting part, and that's what's interesting in this issue. All kinds of authors filling the night with their myriad imaginings. This is a richly full issue. Dig in. (As usual, this review doesn't cover the story of mine that I'm lucky enough to have appear in this issue. I don't review my own writing.)
