What happens when three more English ladies are shipped halfway across the world as mail order brides? EVERYTHING! Three sisters, Lena, Fina and Apple go from an even more posh lifestyle than their cousins, and arrive in Clear Creek, a nothing of a town full of quirky characters, crazy live-stock, and bumbling villains! Escorted by their strict and very proper distant cousin, Imogene, the girls have a hard time adjusting to life on the prairie (and they’ve only just arrived!). What’s to become of them? Lena worries most of all and is the first to wed. How will she please her husband when she can’t so much as boil water? But please him she did. And now it was Fina's turn to wed ...
Levi Stone came to Clear Creek at the request of Cyrus Van Cleet. He came because he was fed up with his life in Boston, and wanted something better than what the stuffy high-society folks had to offer. Cyrus told Levi he could find true freedom in Clear Creek, and he did. He found everything he wanted, except a wife to share it with. Felicina Sayer had always considered herself an even-tempered, peaceful sort, until she met Levi Stone, that is. For some reason, he brought out a side of her she hardly knew existed, and it scared her. Unfortunately, there was nothing she could do about it. They were married. Worse still, she didn’t know him well enough to know how to fight back! He even made a game of it! Would these two combatants find something in each other to love? Or would they drive each other crazy first? Find out in this fifth installment of the Prairie Grooms Series.
Kit Morgan, aka Geralyn Beauchamp, has been writing for fun all of her life. When writing as Geralyn Beauchamp, her books are epic, adventurous, romantic fantasy at its best. When writing as Kit Morgan they are whimsical, fun, inspirational sweet and clean stories that depict a strong sense of family and community. 'His Prairie Princess' is the first of the Prairie Brides books and the first in the series of a long line of stories about Clear Creek, Oregon. One of the wackiest little towns in the old west! Get to know the townsfolk in Clear Creek and come sit a spell!
NOTE: Hi folks, it has come to my attention there is an erotica book floating around out there written under the name Kit Morgan. IT IS NOT MY BOOK! I do not, and never will, write in that genre.
Oh man. This one was just as good but I swear Fina drive me a bit nuts. Her character, magnetisms and the way she treated Levi made me want to shake her. Levi was my kinda guy. I love the teasing and the laughter. Neither one of them really knew 100% what they were getting into when they got married so fast. They needed the time to get to k ow one another and once they did, it was very sweet. Then you have the shenanigans of Apple...that poor girl got herself in a giant mess by the time the book was done. Can’t wait to read that one!
I love this series. It keeps me spellbound and waiting to see what happens next. I feel like I'm a character in the stories watching everything unfold. It's great getting to know all the characters and feel like I'm right there with them. I can't wait to start the next one.
This is the story of Fina and Levi. Just like any other books in this genre, they each have personal quirks to overcome. This story is unique in that the couple is competitive and each loves to argue, it makes for lots of laughs. And the end of the story sets up for the third sister to find her man.
Kit Morgan writes wonderful heartfelt romance with hilarious wacky characters and unexpected plot twists. No need for sex fillers when you have a the talent for Creative genius. Enjoy the fun and laughs.
Great book a mail order bride and her new husband. They started a game to l earn about each other that led the bride to snoop. In his trunk was mysteries items. All this led to different events. Read and enjoy.
This was an awesome book of young love growing from fright, nerves and misunderstandings. Kit Morgan is a wonderful author who weaves a spell binding tale.
I read this book a long time ago, as nd just picked it back up to refresh my memory for Dear Mr. Stone. I enjoyed it just as much this time as I did the first time. Goid clean romance.
Prejudice sucks. Please excuse my statement. I didn’t like reading about the words of prejudice. I almost passed on this book. The story of Levi and Fina is a good love match. That only leaves one sister, Apple, to find her match made in Heaven.
Oh how I laughed reading this installment of the Prairie Grooms! Tom's story about the English mail ordered brides has his enthralled audience on the edge of their seats, as well as us,the readers. It tells of how vivid an imagination can spiral when things seem ominous. Don't miss an opportunity to enjoy Kit Morgan's series' of the old west.
Fina and Levi's story is an excellent addition to the series. I am not so sure that I totally loved Levi with his joking around. I had a nickname for him way before Fina did. But the ending was a definite plus. Thanks... Next! ;-)
Loved Levi and Eloise's story!!! They marry without even knowing each other!!! Eloise has such a suspicious mind and when she finds something in her husbands belongings she is wondering just who she married!!! Another fun loving book by Kit Morgan!!!
Loved it!! Very good read as we have come to expect from this author. Never read a single one of hers that I didn't like and so like became lover of her works. Her humor is in each book is also fun!
Book five of the Prairie Grom series describes the developing relationship between another groom and his mail order bride. See my previous reviews. There is a continuing story that crosses all of the books in the series. A quick, enjoyable read.
Oh my what a Story,I was setting on Pins and Needles. I do not know how this Lady can think of all This .She Is Just Amazing I Can Not Wait Until I Start The Next Story
So Kit Morgan is the author that I stumbled across last year that introduced me to the whole mail order bride/western historical romance/kindle book thing. I have loved everything that I've read by her and this is no different. You really can't go wrong reading any book by Kit Morgan.
