When I tell you I ate this book up!?! I ATE IT UP!! 🙏🙏 I’m such a lover of Banter between characters!! And the banter here is chefs kiss 🤌🏻! I love reading about all the characters growth and development through the book! So many parts had me devouring the book for more!! Theo is Daddy 100000% 🥵🥵! I loveddd every bit of this book! And the ending has me in a chokehold now and I can’t wait for more! Take my advice and read this book ASAP 😈😈 Ok?!? Thanks 🫶🏻💋

Let’s just start with, I freaking love this book. The banter, the action, the emotions, it’s all there. .

I was laughing so much, Henry was my favorite when it came to banter.

Theo well he is sexy man, that I wouldn’t mind being stuck in a room for days on.

Elizabeth is a strong beautiful and independent woman. She don’t need no man telling her what to do.

But the ending….OMG I was not expecting that plot twist. Like threw me off the chair with that one.

Now Simmions, he can go where the sun don’t shine. Absolutely do not like that man…wait he doesn’t even get to be called a man, he is known as an it.. that man got under my skin so much.

This book was written so well. It had you feeling all the emotions. Definitely a 5 star read

The plot, the banter, the twists of this book was great! Elizabeth and Theo had great banter and relationship development. That plot twist at the end was so good!

Now I do think this book could have been longer almost a lot longer. Some things I felt could have been explored more within the plot and the relationship development. But that also says how much I liked this story, so would definitely recommend this book.

If you love Banter, Action, spice, and historical romances, this book is for you.

I adored the FMC Elizabeth and felt a huge connection with her. Her and Theo were made for each other. Theo, the MMC made me obsessed with him. He is Mr. Dark and Dangerous.

The side characters were great as well, and my favorite was Henry. I loved it all.

This is an updated review, and I highly recommend Kaitlin’s book. There will be a book 2 and I’m excited for it!

I wish I could rate this book higher, honestly! It deserves more than ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ in my opinion. Kaitlin did an amazing job with writing characters that you get emotionally attached to. THE BANTER 🔥 I live for banter in books, and this one is FULL of it! Henry’s sarcasm is top tier. Elizabeth’s strength throughout this book is incredible. Theo, what a man… Theo is SEXY 🔥😍 I went through every emotion imaginable while reading “The Birmingham Boy’s” which is something I really look for in books! The twists and turns left me wanting, no NEEDING more.
If you’re looking for a novella that will truly captivate you, look no further!

Mafia and crime fiction that, as well as it was written regarding the plot, reminded me too much of Peaky Blinders characters.
Of course, there were certain changes(FMC character Elizabeth had dark hair not blond, meanwhile Theo’s FWB Rose had blonde hair) but not enough to disregard the previously watched TV series that I adored so much. That being said, it is a decent novel and the author has portrayed main characters and their inner world beautifully.

If it wasn’t for all the correlations with Peaky Blinders plot, it would be 4 stars.

But then again, if you don’t care about it too much, I recommend the novel.

This quick read delivered on the Peaky Blinders vibes and qualities of those Birmingham Boys we love so much. The crossover with real and fictional events was well done and immersed me into the story with that dark , mafia vibes and corruption within policing systems. Loved the personalities of the brothers and their banter. The romance between Theo and Elizabeth was fresh and enticing. If you love a dark, mafia vibe with an obsessed MMC and "touch her a d**" vibes. Pick this up! Also, that ending?!?!

The characters were amazing and so easy to love. The banter is was so good, I couldn’t stop giggling.

The plot twist at the end had me GASPING!! I DID NOT expect that!!😳

Writing was face past and engaging. Not a dull moment at all.

It was giving Peaky Blinders vibes and I was LIVING for it!!
