The Remington Royals #3

Feuding with the Fashion Princess

Rate this book
I love the way I hate her.

Pushing Lucy Remington's buttons is my favorite pastime and has been since we were kids. Watching as her brilliant blue eyes darken in anger when I mockingly call her Princess—even though she is one—fills me with immense satisfaction.

She's the last woman on Earth I would want to take as my wife, yet that's exactly what her grandfather—my King—asks of me.

Babysitting Lucy for the rest of my life is worse than a nightmare, and she feels the same way, so you'd think it would be simple to turn down the request of our monarch. Wrong. Lucy is offered an escape from royal life to pursue her increasingly successful fashion career if she marries a man of her grandfather's choosing—me—so here I am. She loves fashion more than she hates me.

Surprisingly, she discovers a loophole to get both her freedom and out of our arrangement. The only problem? It comes with my disgrace as being the one to go back on my word to our King. She's delusional if she thinks that's going to happen.

I'm willing to bet I can break her before she breaks me.

If she wants to play, then play we shall. Feuding with the fashion princess has never been more fun.

Siena is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where a love of sports is bred into a girl's DNA. Her love of romance novels came early as well. She would often accompany her romance reviewer mom to book lovers' and romance writers' conventions, where she sat in on workshops and met numerous best-selling authors. It wasn't long before she was filling notebooks with her own stories, which often starred herself and a certain real-life prince.

As luck would have it, she met and married a handsome athlete instead. After several temporary residencies in multiple states and Germany, they finally settled in Michigan, the land where youth hockey reigns supreme.

Her stories no longer feature herself but draw from her past experiences as an educator, businesswoman, fashion consultant, and world traveler when creating her strong heroines. “Oh yes,” she says with a wink and a smile, “There are bits of me in all of them.” Now, she spends her days writing happily ever afters for fictional characters and her evenings at the local hockey arenas cheering for her three children.

This is a book about sexual assault.

I’m going to be very honest: the story is overshadowed by repeated on‑page sexual assault and what’s even more disturbing is how casually it’s treated in the narrative and in other reviews.

Lucy and Preston have hated each other since childhood. Lucy is being forced into a marriage she doesn’t want so she can pursue her own dreams. Neither of them is happy about it. Fine ..... messy royal drama, I can roll with that.

But here’s where everything falls apart.

Both characters belong to a masked BDSM club. One night, Preston recognizes Lucy. Lucy does not recognize him. She cannot see him. She believes she is with a stranger. She has explicitly said that the idea of sleeping with Preston makes her gag.... meaning she would never consent to sexual activity with him.

Preston knows all of this.
He knows she would not consent.
He knows she thinks he is someone else.
And he still engages in sexual activity with her.
Not once. Multiple times.

That is not a “spicy twist.”
That is not a trope.
That is sexual assault ....specifically, sexual activity obtained through deception about identity.

And yet the book glosses over it. The characters gloss over it. And from what I’ve seen, many readers are glossing over it too. I genuinely don’t know what’s more confusing: the fact that it happens so blatantly on the page, or the fact that so many people seem unbothered by it because “it’s fiction.”

When Preston finally admits what he did, he gets upset that Lucy is upset. The emotional weight of what happened is never truly acknowledged. It’s treated like a relationship hurdle instead of the violation it is.

I’m passionate about consent enthusiastic, informed, identity‑specific consent and this book trampled all over that. It honestly made me fearful for how casually we’re willing to dismiss harm when it’s wrapped in romance packaging.

Did anyone else catch this?
Or are we collectively confused about what sexual assault is when fictional characters are involved?

Because I couldn’t get past it. And I don’t think we should.

“Baby, I will worship every inch of this body and take nothing for myself if it means you can understand that you’re the most stunning creature to ever walk this planet, and for some reason, I’m the lucky bastard you’ve chosen to gift yourself to.”

✨Royalty Romance
✨Arranged Marriage
✨Enemies to Lovers
✨Brother’s Best Friend
✨Forced Proximity
✨Alpha Male/Princess

Lucy is the youngest of 3 of the Remington siblings. She’s never been interested in living the royalty lifestyle, she’d rather focus on her fashion brands and live out her true dream. However, the only way that would be allowed to happen is if she agrees to marry a man of her grandfather’s choosing. Lucy reluctantly agreed, until she found out she was to marry her childhood enemy, Preston. After already verbally agreeing in the arranged marriage, she decides to try and make Preston back out of the deal. However, Preston does the same to Lucy. One of them must back out before Christmas when heir engagement is to be announced, or else they will be married.

I will accept no criticism of this book, it was absolutely incredible. I lost sleep from reading this book because I was so invested in Lucy & Preston’s story & banter. Even though this is technically book 3 in the series, it can be read as a complete standalone and there will be absolutely no confusion on who the other characters are. The pace of this story was perfect—not too fast, but a good enough speed to keep my interest from beginning to end. There was tons of drama, lots of tension between Lucy and Preston, and even a little bit of suspense. Let’s just say a wide range of emotions were experienced while reading this.

Speaking of tension, it was incredibly addicting to read. Preston picks on Lucy consistently, and always has ever since they were kids. Eventually, the teasing turns into flirting, and it was making me blush and kicking my feet in the air. Preston is an alpha, dominant man who loves to be in control, so it was fun to read about him and Lucy, who is also hard-headed and stubborn, to back and forth.

I loved everything about this book. I’m so happy I was able to receive this as an ARC and share my opinion. Huge shoutout to Siena Trap—thanks again for the opportunity!!

Lucy may be a princess, but her heart lies with fashion design. Knowing that her ability to expand her fashion empire will be limited as her royal duties continue to grow, her grandfather, the King, offers her a deal--Marry a man of his choosing, and she can step away from the family and pursue her dreams of creating fashion to celebrate women in all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities full time. The only problem? The intended gentleman is Preston-her childhood enemy who she has maintained a grudge against over the years. Neither one knows how they are going to make this marriage work.

Feuding with the Fashion Princess is book 3 of the Remington Royals series, following Princess Lucy and Preston as they navigate the skeletons of a royal family, an arranged marriage, childhood grudges, and the need to be honest with each other and with themselves. Although it is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone! I felt there was plenty of background information shared on the additional characters to understand the context and history of all those involved!

Lucy and Preston have such a troubled start to their relationship, but they learn how to communicate and open themselves up to each other. I loved how Preston was willing to give Lucy space and time to process her feelings and understand her needs, but still had no problem confronting her when her behavior became immature or hurtful. In the end, they helped each other grow and accepted the other for who they are NOW, and not who they used to be.

Star Rating: 4/5
--I loved Preston and his willingness to dedicate himself to Lucy!! Give me a possessive MMC with a heart of gold all day every day!!
--I wish that Lucy had been willing to meet him in the middle sooner--She was slow to let go of childhood grudges, and slow to give him credit for the effort he was putting into their relationship.

Steam Rating: 4/5
--Multiple open door scenes including BDSM, toys, forced orgasm, light bondage and breath play, explicit language

Be aware of your triggers--this book includes attempted assault of the FMC (not by MMC) and discussion past abusive relationships (not the FMC or MMC).

Tropes:
--Possessive MMC who loves to praise!! Plus, he falls first!
--Royal arranged marriage
--BDSM rep
--Body and sex positivity
--Slow burn enemies to lovers

Definitely check this one out!!

This was a fun enemies to lovers, arranged marriage, but throw in royalty and a little BDSM, dom/sub play with that. This is also a brothers best friend and they have known each other since they were kids.
I really enjoyed the story, and there is a plot twist I didn’t see coming, so that was fun.

The FMC, Lucy, is a fiery 28-year old (love that, twinsies) body-positive fashion designer, which I think was a great addition.
I would have liked more insight in her fashion companies in the end though, but the end was cute.
I enjoyed the growth between Lucy and Preston, and how they learn to get to know the adult version of the other person and how their perception of each other changed from hate.
Overall I enjoyed the book, it was a fun read.

Absolutely LOVED this book. Preston and Lucy’s banter from the start had me laughing and kicking my feet. The way they both ended up truly caring for one another was amazing. Letting go of the person they thought they knew and seeing the other for who they truly were 😭 I’m not crying you are…

Lucy’s bad ass girl gang is the type of inner circle girls dream of. Having her back the entire time whether it was ways to try and get rid of him to supporting her when she finally fell for him

Also the plot twist?! Icing on the cake 🤯🤯

i did it. i'm free.

you know one thing i've noticed from all of these? the main characters are all European royalty (Natalie notwithstanding) but besides them being royal there are zero cultural differences between them and the Americans. they all talk the same. they even have generic WASPy American names. Preston??????

this book has i think the most annoying protagonists of the trilogy but the most interesting sex, which, like, i hate. i hate reading about annoying people having sex. also Leo has really grown on me bc his scenes are easily the most unhinged. love the random ass hostage situation that took place in like the last 50 pages. great stuff

Is that even a rating?! Haha.
The main character annoyed me for a good majority of this book but she redeemed herself. She’s 28 acting 21, grow up doll 😂
Some parts were skipped through, would’ve liked more detail but still a good, easy, spicy read and a cute wee series.

✨ARC Review✨

After falling in love with Natalie & Jaxon, and Amy & Liam, I was so ready for Lucy and Preston’s story.

I love that Lucy is a spitfire like the rest of the girls. She doesn’t take shit and gives it right back. The light BDSM took me a bit by surprise but I LOVED it! The fact that she didn’t know who her Dom was made the mystery that much more hot.
Some of the BDSM scenes just dragged on in my opinion as some of it was repetitive. I LOVE details, and the story behind it was just as good.

Can’t wait from Hannah’s story!! This series just keeps surprising me, every book is so different but the way past characters come back on is fun.

✨ I received the ARC to review, but my opinion is honest review✨ thank you so much for the opportunity to be apart of your ARC Review team!

This is the third book in the Remington Royals series, featuring the youngest child Lucy and Liam’s friend Preston. Preston and Lucy have known each other since childhood and they have never gotten along. When the King decides it’s time for Lucy to wed, he picks Preston. This isn’t your typical enemies to lovers story line, so be sure to check trigger warnings. My only complaint is the third act action seems a bit rushed, but it makes sense that the author wanted to wrap everything up. Overall, this was a great ending to the series!

The last book in our 3 book series with the Remmington Royals is complete, and I feel very satisfied and kind of sad. Spending so much time with characters for so long leaves me feeling separated once the series comes to a close, but this book was the sweetest enemies to lovers I could have asked for! Preston and Lucy were the least mentioned in the previous books as well as in the following spinoff series that came after these three that I read first. (Oops! but these prequels to what I learned prior to their happy endings was so much fun still!) You knew Lucy was royalty and related to Natalie's evil Ex Leo, and little sister to Amy's Royal husband Liam. We knew Preston was a friend of theirs growing up and close to Liam, but how did those two come together? Clearly, they were deep into their HEA in the spinoff books, but their beginning didn't fair so sweetly. Learning the history of them from the very beginning was satisfying and such a traditional setup for childhood enemies to end up in such a predicament that truly would test them mind body and soul.

Being the youngest of the Royal family, Lucy really does have a lot to follow after that was set in motion by so many other people. In ways that are both to her royal standings, long time history, and personal choices of others, she will be in the fallout. To grow into an adult with your own hopes and dreams, knowing that at any moment those will have to be cast aside to live a life of waving and smiling sweetly at crowds as the local Princess, now that your older brothers are off living their chosen lives in many ways, is such a suffocating feeling. Especially when you have become such a prolific up and coming fashion icon all on your own, and the potential to take that as high as possible is right at your fingertips. All to lose it to hold a space in a Royal bloodline because it's what's proper for their continued behaviors of their country. Outdated behaviors at that. Being forced into an arranged marriage by her King and Grandfather as the Honorable Princess she is, right at the peak of her career seems like the end of the world on top of being forced into marrying a stranger to keep heirs rolling in to the future. Until she's told that if she, in fact, marries the chosen man of her King and is a good girl making a show for the country, then she can continue working as a fashion designer. What a deal... which she considers. Would it be so bad to have some blue blood Duke dote on her every whim as his new purpose to appease her grandfather and country while also living her fashion dreams? Could she offer up her body eventually to bare an heir to keep her dream and freedoms of expression in her art alive? It seemed like a deal she could stomach until she realized her suiter was her worst life-long enemy.

Preston has tormented Lucy her entire life simply for the life she was born into. Now, as an adult, that dislike has turned into aggressive bitterness, filtering how Lucy looks to him. A spoiled princess by all facets. When thrust into this agreement alongside her, he's forced to cater to the one person he feels has already been catered to more than deserved. Now it's his job. He's sacrificing his entire identity to be her bag carrier to simply ensure the continued good standing of their home country and eventually have children. How could that even be possible when they can't stand the sight of one another? Preston is about to learn a lot about Lucy that he never knew and possibly has been misjudging his entire life when they cross paths early on in their new life path together when they happen to frequent the same erotic club which opens up a new dynamic to their relationship. One only he is aware of due to the mask policy at the club. But Preston would recognize his ravon haired enemy anywhere and proceeds to approach Lucy and offer a play night as her Dom without her knowledge of who is propositioning her... Wild move, Preston. The audacity to touch her body, knowing how much she would protest, set a tone you knew would cause issues much later.

The erotic club, being the thing that intimately tied our leads together at first, was both a strange setting to tie in but also really understandable considering Lucy's reasons why she started going their. It created an interesting environment to provoke the real powers at play here between Lucy and Preston and never would have just openly transpired considering their distate for one another. His need to have her submissive and do as she's told to break the vision he's held of her their entire lives is too strong to pass up, and her need to be told what to do fully, in only ways she's agreed to versus forced on her like her real life, sets a wild and interesting lead into our couples first erotic crossing. The spice that this dynamic pulls into the journey as their relationship develops around the shared intimacy is amazing. We don't get tons of spicy scenes, but the ones we get are so well placed and show the development in our MMC and FMCs understanding of who they are, how they really feel and what the true depths of their fears and pains carry.

The situations we navigate as Preston and Lucy figure out how their lives will sustain so much aren't really that indepth. It's a simple and traditional enemies to lovers back and forth, but the back and forth is so fun and entertaining. There are some deep thoughts and realizations that pull through their story like in all the plots, and your emotions and heart are pulled through it right along with them. The more they learn about one another, the more they learn why their families placed them in eachothers lives and reaching that was hard at times. Lucy feeling so betrayed by her mother in this setup was so sad. Her feelings are so disposable to everyone. Her body being used and offered up to be used by a man she had hated her whole life to simply produce a possible heir decades to come in the form of her self sacrifice... her feeling trapped was so valid. But have no fear, because our wild ladies of the Conneticut Comets arrive to help Lucy in her time of need when she reaches out to Hannah, Natalie, and our newest princess sister in law, Amy. We didn't get a lot of interaction from our past characters, but when we do, it's great. Hannah, again, is the best.

This book was sweet and enduring and such a great enemies to lovers trope. It didn't start easy and didn't get easy for a long time. There were no immediate connections or denials in public while secretly pining away. These two really hated each other for a long time before they clicked, and seeing that development was so fun.

It was around..... 70%, you got it, lol, that the drama finally started popping off, and a serious play came into motion, putting our couple in chaos and hanging in the balance. For the first time, it was someone else's fault and was way more exciting than our past miscommunication issues , so I appreciated it a lot!

Lucy and Preston are adorable and finding safety and power in one another by simply giving over the power to someone who wants your best interest versus to exploit it, is addicting to read.
Living for others will never feed your soul if you don't find something to ground you in your services of others. These two really learn that balance by empowering each other together and as individuals. That's a powerful couple trait.

Just no.

First, the hidden identity trope is one of my least favorites, but also our princess is super-annoying and the surprise on-page SA is nauseating.

The other problem is how stupid the “BDSM” is. Other than some mild bondage it’s just normal old sex. I think it’s cynical to tease kink because it’s trendy and then utterly fail to follow through.

SPOILER
As an example, at their first meeting we know she has “tried everything” at the kink club, has felt compelled to submit for years, and she tells him she has no hard limits. He thinks to himself that he needs to make the evening count. And then it’s mild bondage and normal, if enthusiastic sex.

Yes, I do read lots of mainstream romance. The books I love don’t have to have flogging and roleplay. But this one feels like a bait and switch. Don’t tease kink because it’s trendy then write it vanilla.

“You are everything I never knew I always needed.” -Preston

“Nothing is too much for you. You deserve the world, and I’m just the lucky bastard trying to give it to you.” -Preston

Siena has done it again, folks! I adored Jaxon, and I loved grumpy Liam, but Preston? Whoa baby, he might be my favorite of her men so far (he definitely is my favorite, but if any of you tell anyone that, you’ll be hearing from my lawyers). I was more than ready to get Lucy’s story, and it didn’t disappoint in any way. Imagine The Princess Diaries if it had more action and a lot more spice, and you’ll get this book. I was not expecting the amount of spice and the kinks in this book, but I freaking loved it! Chapter 20?! Seriously, that’s all I need to say because that chapter had me sweating and drooling in the best way possible. 😏🥵 Both Lucy and Preston were part of the BDSM community–which I won’t mention too much about because you just have to read it for yourself– and Siena handles the kinks and information about the community very well (at least to my limited knowledge). Okay, this whole book had me in a chokehold, and I’m not afraid to admit it! I really loved seeing Lucy in her element in the fashion world and owning it like the girl boss she is. Meeting Preston was amazing, especially since we only met him quickly in Playing Pretend with the Prince and he was just Liam’s school friend who tortured Lucy her whole life. Seeing him from a different perspective was eye-opening–and not just for me. It was also interesting to see both Lucy and Preston, eventually, bonding over their status as “spares” in their families. I love an enemies-to-lovers trope and a fake relationship trope, and this book was both of those in spades! Lucy and Preston hated each other as kids and for years after, and it was hard for them to see past their preconceived notions of the other. They were masters at pushing each other’s buttons throughout the story, but eventually, they both got so tired of fighting that they decided to genuinely get to know each other and things only went up from there. Watching Lucy and Preston get to know each other on a deeper level was really special and one of the things I really enjoyed reading this book. It showed so much growth for both of them as people because they were willing to put their perceptions aside and actually put in the effort to get to know each other. There were a few twists and turns in this book that I definitely didn’t see coming, and that made it so much more addicting! I liked seeing all the cameos of the characters we met in the first 2 books, as well. I really enjoyed Lucy and Preston’s story and seeing them grow together as people and in their relationship. I can’t wait to see what Hannah gets up to in her story–I know for a fact that her story will be my absolute favorite of them all–and if you haven’t read any of Siena’s books yet, what are you waiting for?! Go meet all of the Remington Royals ASAP; you won’t regret it!

Thank you to Siena Trap for providing me with an ARC!

This book has a lot of aspects built into it and yet they all work so cohesively together. Apart from the regular story there is so much body positivity talked about that’s it’s super inspiring. I really enjoyed reading it. The characters are developed really well, you get a lot of insight into them as children and what growing up was like and so you get to understand who they are and why they are the way they are. The fmc is kind of all over the place, on one hand she is really head strong towards certain people but she also does act like the princess she is being spoiled and bratty but she can be nurturing and selfless throw in her submissive side and she’s a very in depth character. She is a very realistic style woman who has a lot of facets to herself and what side of her people see cause it’s different for everyone. The mmc is also very in depth, he is and can be a classic jerk but as it goes on you really start to see how caring and loving he truly is which is highlighted in his dom side as well. The chemistry between the two is classic enemies to lovers, there isn’t too many scenes that make them steamy around each other all the time but there is instances where it’s there. The dynamic between the two in a sexual way is portrayed really well for a sub dom dynamic, it’s definitely on the lighter side of the spectrum but not all sub dom dynamics are dark or heavily explicit they can be lighter and more caring. The plot of the whole story is done well, the addition of the pranks and goading between the two is a great way of creating conflict. There is a lot of twists and turns that you don’t expect coming and they don’t really stop even at the end there’s still twists there. Most of it focuses on them as a couple navigating their situation along with building her career. It’s done very well and it’s an excellent read. Especially if you enjoy princesses, forced marriage, forced proximity, enemies to lovers and a sub dom dynamic. In terms of spice, I’ll have to put it at a 3.5/5, there was a few scenes, they happen sort of spackled through. There is a couple of closed door scenes but the open door ones are detailed heavily. They aren’t really dark more spicy than dark. They aren’t super frequent. Overall, I’m putting it at a 4/5, I do think that it progressed well and was a good read. There was a lot of lost time over the time of their courting. The conflicts were resolved maybe too easily in some cases. Overall only minor tid bits for me. It was a great read and I would definitely recommend it.

If you’re scouring for a sizzling read with a dash of royal intrigue, look no further than Siena Trap’s latest, Feuding with the Fashion Princess. This book is the literary equivalent of a spicy, exotic dish – moderately hot with a flavor that grows on you.

Right from the start, Trap masterfully weaves a world where luxury meets drama. Picture this: a blend of the sultry secks of “Fifty Shades of Grey” with the playful romantic antics of “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days”. Yes, it’s that intriguing! The narrative sets off with a fiery spark, introducing us to Lucy and Preston – two characters you can’t help but be charmed by. Trap does a satisfactory job in gradually unveiling the complexities of Lucy and Preston, much like a painter adding subtle strokes to a canvas – each new detail adds depth and dimension to their characters but their overall character growth left me itching for more.

The spice level? A respectable 3.5 out of 5. Imagine a tasteful mix of steamy and sophisticated – just enough to keep the pages turning without overwhelming the senses but enough heat to savor the flavor.

The plot, steady and engaging, earns a solid 3 out of 5. It intriguingly explores the less glamorous facets of royal life, providing an insightful look beyond the usual glitz and glamour. This approach makes for an interesting and relatable narrative, revealing the challenges hidden behind the royal veneer. The story is a cocktail of my favorite tropes: enemy-to-lovers, forced proximity, edging, and possessiveness, all shaken together in a delicious narrative concoction.

Now, let’s discuss the pacing – the one aspect where this otherwise captivating tale stumbles a bit. The narrative becomes intensely focused on Lucy and Preston’s relationship from the midpoint onwards. While this adds depth to their dynamic, it unfortunately sidelines the development of the external storyline. It feels akin to a sudden acceleration in a long-distance race – exciting, certainly, but somewhat abrupt.

Despite this, Feuding with the Fashion Princess remains a tantalizing read. It’s a book that promises a spicy escape into the lives of the royals. So, if you’re in the mood for a steamy adventure with a touch of royal drama, this book should definitely be on your reading list. Happy reading, fellow book lovers! 📚✨

ARC Review

I received an ARC of this book, and since I was unfamiliar with the author, I decided to read books 1 and 2 in the Remington Royal series first before book 3. These books are standalones but are interconnected and give glimpses of the previous book's characters. I'm so glad I dove in from the start of the series to read The Remington Royals series.

I was a bit bummed when I realized book 3 didn't star Hannah as the FMC, but then I remembered I was reading the Remington Royals series, so obviously Lucy would be the star of it. I got to see glimpses of Lucy in book 2, and I loved her fierce, independent woman drive. My need for Hannah's book was quickly pushed aside. Book 3 was everything I didn't know I needed and more. Brother's best friend, enemies to lovers, arranged marriage, and a plot twist are just a few themes in this book. Make sure you read Trigger warnings if you have any before proceeding with this book!

Lucy wants a career of her own but struggles with the idea that her success might be due to her name and the fact she's a royal. She is given the opportunity to have both... career first and foremost, and royalty life second, if and only if she agrees to marry a man her grandfather, the King, selects. When she finds out the man selected is none other than her Brother's best friend and the boy who teased her endlessly growing up, she confides in her girlfriend group to come up with ways for him to walk away from the arrangement.

Lucy has secrets hidden away, even her own family doesn't know about, yet has to trust the man she's intended to to keep her secrets. As they put their misperceptions from their childhood days behind them and get to know each other as adults, each one asks him/herself if maybe that's why they always got under one another's skin growing up...

I can't get enough of Lucy and Preston's story. I loved their banter, the glimpses inside their thoughts, the back and forth pranks or challenges they came up with, and their good and generous hearts. I gave it 4.5 stars (Goodreads get with the times and allow .5 star ratings!!!) because I needed more of their HEA at the end. Otherwise, it would've been 5⭐️.

This is my ARC review of the book, and all opinions are my own.

Tropes: Arranged Marriage, Brother's Best Friend, Enemies to Lovers, Hidden Identities

This book is one of three in a series but can be read as a standalone(which I did). I honestly loved this book. I love the double POV and the love story in this novel. Lucy is one tough cookie and doesn't let anyone stop her from being herself.

I love the humor in this book, I caught myself laughing out loud in some part. The banter between Lucy and Preston was well done. I was always wondering what their next move would be to get the other to give up. This was a true enemies to lovers trope. But I loved to see them grow as people through out the book. I enjoyed seeing Lucy and her brother, Liam, enjoy a semi normal life back in America. To be able to experience American holidays and see Natalie and the kids grow up outside the royal lifestyle was wonderful. You can tell that all characters were able to express and be themselves without the media involved.

I enjoyed the secret life Lucy had through out the book, in her personal and professional life as well. Siena Trap also mentions the fashion world in how we should see women for themselves and no for their shape and size. She brought up some major points that everyone should think about everyday on how to view women and their bodies. Women are beautiful not matter how much they weigh or look.

This book is spicy for sure. A lot of soft BDSM. I personally liked the amount of spice in the book but was a bit repetitive. I kind of predicted the plot twist but not what would happen after. But overall I would recommend this book to anyone. I will have to look into the rest of the series and see more of a background on the side characters. I am so looking forward to Hannah's story though!! She was my favorite out of the group of girl friends.

Thank you Siena Trap for allowing me to read this book and I can not wait to see what else you have in store.

📚✨ ARC Book Review ✨📚

Title: Feuding with the Fashion Princess
Author: Siena Trap
Series: Remington Royals series

🌶 Spice: 🌶🌶🌶🌶, 4/5
⭐ Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, 5/5

"What can I say? Your sister is a freak in the sheets." -Preston.

Feuding with the Fashion Princess is the third installment of the Remington Royals series. It follows the passionate life of the youngest of the Royal siblings, Lucy Remington. Can be read as a standalone, however I'd recommend reading the first two as characters are mentioned throughout the book.

This is one of those types of stories that will keep you sucked in, and it sure did as it did not take me long to read. Check your trigger and content warnings, but all in all this is the HEA I did not know that I needed.

What I admired about Lucy's character was her tenacity and living of her life to the fullest. She is such a strong willed character, it honestly surprised me to further read her submissive nature. Have no doubt, she might be the only sister and the youngest- but she sure knows how to get what she wants! And for that I really admired her.

And of course, it would have to take an equally strong man to nurture her flame. Get this though, Preston Scott is the relentless older boy, who just so happens to be her older brother's best friend: and they've crossed paths since childhood.. Sure, he gets on her nerves: but don't all great romances build their foundations based off childhood-enemies-to-adulthood-lovers?

My most favourite part of this read was the undertone of the lifestyle in BDSM communities, and how well Siena interwove the nature of these two lovers. It was smutty, sexy and extremely addicting to read their passion.

I was so pleased to be on Siena's ARC team, with Lucy's story bringing this series to a close.... But not the end of these hunks!

P.s; keep your toys charged!

“Baby, I will worship every inch of this body and take nothing for myself if it means you can understand that you’re the most stunning creature to ever walk this planet, and for some reason, I’m the lucky b@stard you’ve chosen to gift yourself to.”

Loved reading this! Perfect book to end the Remington Royals Series!

I loved Lucy’s hard headed and stubborn personality. Her grandfather makes a deal with her that if she marries the man they picked for her that she can continue working in fashion. But when she finds out who she’s marrying that’s when it gets super interesting!

Preston is her older brother Liam’s best friend that picked on her while they were growing up and she can’t stand him. He is a dominant man and loves to be in control. But he’s not 100% in control when the king summons him to tell him he’s going to marry his granddaughter.
He hopes she doesn’t agree to the marriage especially once she find out she’s going to be marrying him. But when she does, it’s a battle to get the other to walk away so the other can be let off of the hook.

I loved every time Lucy and Preston picked on one another.. I agree with what Addy tells Lucy in the beginning of the book. 🤭
Loved every bit of how they start out as enemies and how they turn into lovers in the end.
This book had me laughing!
Loved the spice that the author put into Lucy and Preston’s story. And the BD$M in this was 🥵.
The ending really caught me off guard and had me in suspense.

This book can be read as a stand alone. But I recommend reading the whole series. Loved all three of the books in the series!

The Arranged Marriage We Didn’t Know We Wanted 🌶️🫶🏻

Princess Lucy of Belleston is taking the fashion world by storm. Running two separate companies and doing some royal engagements to keep the big wigs happy. Without a thought of hesitation she agrees to his offer because her fashion career means literally the world to her and nothing is taking that from her. Until she finds out the man of her grandfather’s choosing is none other than her older brother Liam’s best friend Preston Scott. The boy who teased her, her entire upbringing. Lucy is determined to find a loophole in the plan her grandfather, the king, gave her.

Preston Scott is determined to have Lucy get rid of him from being married off to him. He is just starting to take off in his lawyer career. Now only to be a man set to be a fashion accessory to his soon be wife..

Will they find their way out of their proposed arrangement? Will their careers suffer at the hand of each other? What about someone’s after dark extracurricular activities..

***ARC REVIEW***

Siena does it again with this story of Lucy and Preston. I was not prepared for the emotional rollercoaster that was this story. The story begins with a flashback into the childhood relationship of Lucy, Preston, and the others in the family. We get to then see a peak into the fashion world of Lucy and how much she loves her career path and wants nothing to do with the royal spotlight and is ready to focus on it full-time. In steps her grandfather the King, with a proposition for her to leave the spotlight and focus on her fashion label - she is so quick to agree without thinking or asking who he has chosen for her. Unfortunately, for her ; someone she would not want. The two begin to find out their differences and begin to fall in love and realize they want this not because of the arranged marriage but because of love! I was not ready for the plot twist at the end of the story after the wedding of Amy and Liam (as most of the story is preparing for this). I let out an audible gasp and could not believe it! WHY?!?!?!?!
This was a fantastic story and can't wait to read more from Siena!

OH. MY. GOD.
I was NOT expecting that. AT. ALL.
From only to seeing a few exchanges with the little sister of the Remington family, I was NOT expecting that she was into that kind of fun *smirk*. But all in all WE LOVED IT. Oh my god. And goddamn she’s feisty and good god she can fuck some shit up if she wants to. Not to mention, that she is bad ass boss bitch who is a CEO and secretly a submissive? GIIRRRRRLLLLL.

Her interaction with Preston from the get-go was absolutely ELECTRIC. Their hate towards each other sparked the best rivalry that had me cackling, especially when Lucy asked Preston to help with the dress. But I could have not been more surprised, with Preston, as to how he had the asshole exterior, with the giant teddy bear interior like GAAAHHH. Oh, and how he had that one up on Lucy, and knew then their fire and ice chemistry was just like pure fucking magic. We absolutely LOVED everything about Lucy and Preston, and I say that with the fullness of my soul.

Not to mention, that plot twist. ARE. YOU. JOKING. ME. I did not see that coming, ESPECIALLY with how Siena likes to end her books, I was waiting for something else, BUT NOT THAT. DAMN. Either way, as this now is officially my last Siena Trap book before the new ones come out for Indy Speed, I think this was a good one to end on, and I can’t wait for the next ones.

Firstly I am so thankful to Siena Trap for letting me ARC read Fueding with the Fashion Princess! I have been so excited to be able to ARC read this series in its entirety and I can not wait for the next series to come! Please see my review of this absolutely fantastic book below:

⭐️ 5/5
🌶️ 4.5/5

I love the way that Siena Trap dedicates her books, each one always feels like it is speaking to me. This story picks up where the previous one ends (Playing Pretend with the Prince) going straight into the story with 2 very fiery characters. I loved the dynamic between them both and how they both have to learn that preconceptions of people are not always right. It was nice seeing Lucy’s struggle with wanting to be person she is but also being a princess with everything that comes with it too and how these 2 parts move through the story.

There were some twists and turns in this book that you just do not see coming which made it even better. I would also say that this is the spiciest one yet!! 🌶️!!

The story of Lucy and Preston had a little bit of everything that perfectly finished the series off. I can not wait for the spinoff series about the Connecticut Comets coming in 2024 🏒♥️🏒

Overall this has been a great series that I have felt incredibly lucky to be able to ARC read!

Siena Trap has done it again!! Feuding With The Fashion Princess is book three in the Remington Royals series. This book follows Lucy the youngest Remington sibling and Preston, Lucy’s nemesis and brother Liam’s best friend. It’s a spicy enemies to lovers tale. It starts with The King…Lucy’s grandfather, offering her the dream of continuing her fashion design dream if she agrees to an arranged marriage. In comes Preston, apparent husband to be, to really push Lucy’s buttons. This is where the games begin. Both parties trying to force the other’s hand to get out of this arrangement. Along their journey we get to catch up with our favorite friends from the first two books, oh how I’ve missed the girls banter!!! One of my favorite parts of this book was the very elite underground club Desire. Including Desire in the storyline really took this book to the next level. The pranks, the relationship transformation, and of course the spice, really made this book my favorite. Preston is definitely a top tier book boyfriend. Lucy is the girl everyone wants as a friend, loyal, kind and inclusive. Thank you Sienna Trap for another great book! I’m not ready for the royals to be over, but can’t wait for the Comets series!!!

This is the third book in the Remington Royals Series.

Preston has been friends with Lucy's brother since they were kids. He was never nice to her. Now, they are adults and Lucy's grandfather, the king, offers her a deal to give her freedom and chase her fashion dreams but only with one condition - she must marry the man of his choosing. And turns out, that man is Preston. And come to find out that neither is who the other thought behind closed doors. Both have secrets that could either bring them closer together or be the thing that breaks off the arrangement.

I have read 2 out of the 3 books in this series and this one was by far my favorite!! It brought in dark romance and some witty enemies to lovers banter! You also get a glimpse into the not always so lovely life of royals that you might not ever think of. I also loved the possessiveness of the MMC! The character growth here was truly amazing to read and I enjoyed as well how the family from the other books were still very involved in this book.

I can not wait for the next book and I hear it is hockey romance 😉

Where do I even start… this book was AMAZING. It totally caught me by surprise and I didn’t think I’d love it so much.

Feuding with the Fashion princess is the third book in the Remington Royal Series by Siena Tarp. It can be read as a standalone but they are all inner-connected. I personally didn’t read the first two as I only just heard of this one and I’m definitely going back to read them!

✨Trophs: ✨
•Enemies to Lovers
•Arranged Marriage
•BDSM
•No third act breakup
•Battle of wills

Lucy Remington is princess of Belleston who has a passion for fashion, so much that she’d agree to an arranged marriage with an unknown man to pursue her dreams and step away from her royal duties. Not knowing it was her childhood enemy, Lucy is unsure of how they could make the marriage work and tries to get Preston to back out. They both engage in a battle to try to get the other to walk, all the while learning there is other sides to each other as well (BDSM hidden sides that totally shocked me in the best way).

This book had the perfect amount of spice, banter, and even a little twist at the end and I enjoyed it so much! 🤍

I'm a huge fan of enemies to lovers and this one did not disappoint. I loved seeing Preston & Lucy's hatred for each other slowly develop into something better over time. They both gave each other the hardest time and it was entertaining to read. The spice in this book.... helllloooo. 🥵 Also there were some twists in it that I definitely was not expecting. This book had me hooked.

⭐Arranged Marriage
⭐Enemies to lovers
⭐Royal Family
⭐Brother's friend
⭐D/S

I would definitely check your trigger warnings before reading this one though. Thank you Siena Trap for providing me with this ARC for my honest review!

This is the third book in the Remington Royals series and it was my favorite!!! After reading Natalie & Jaxon and Amy & Liam stories I was so excited for Lucy and Preston’s story.

Lucy fits in with the other girls so well. She is fierce and I love that she is a spitfire. Lucy likes to stand her growing and doesn’t take shit. Lucy is a fashion designer and wants to continue on her path so when an arranged marriage is an option for her to continue doing what she loves she takes it. But she did not know it was to her brother’s best friend that teased her growing up.

The fact that Lucy did not know who her Dom was made the mystery even better. I was a little surprised that she was not able to figure that out. Lucy and Preston had banter and a connection that was amazing. They truly cared for each other even when they thought they hated each other.

I was not expecting the plot twist but it just proved how much Lucy and Preston needed and loved each other.
I am so excited for Hannah’s story! All the books are so different and I love that. I can’t wait for the sports romance!

The last book of the series, Siena's first series, and I will only leave a few comments. I can see how Siena has grown as a writer. I prefer her later work, but I understand we all need to start somewhere.

As for Feuding with the Fashion Princess...I just didn't care for it. I think it could have been so much more, but it wasn't.

Lucy and Preston had hated each other since childhood, simply because they were children. He hated her, someone from royal blood, because she acted like a stuck-up princess. Guess what. She was a princess with two older brothers, and she was the youngest in the family. Of course, she is going to be a pampered child when she has always gotten her way. Why would she expect differently, especially as a child? As she grew older, she matured.
He is an arrogant, mean boy. Of course he is. He is the son of nobility, rich, good-looking, and just wants to have fun with his brother and friends, without a little girl tagging along. Of course, he is going to pick on you.
The fact that these two don't get along as adults is largely due to the way they acted and were perceived as children...no. Just no.
Then they are betrothed, and instead of acting like adults and getting to know each other as people, they ignore each other and act immaturely. But, hey, both like kinky sex, and he knows things about her and chooses to tell her one night out of the blue, blindsiding her, and she has a breakdown and is devastated. Why? because the person she might like was playing her for a fool. Then, after that, they start to talk and become "friends". I think here the chapters were mixed around. It would have been more impactful if they had tried to get to know each other and be cordial before the truth came out, then dropping the bombshell and being heartbroken. It would have made their inevitable attraction to each other more believable. When they confessed their love, I could only ask, "But why?"

And then the ending, with Leo, and all that happens. I don't want to give spoilers, but I'll just say... WTF?

No, this series for me was a one-and-done.
