Angie Peters has come home to Seaclusion, Washington, the town she fled six years ago after giving her daughter up for adoption. She once again has a secret she will tell no one, especially not Sean Langston, the boy she had a child with so many years before.

Sean Langston has a reputation he can't shake as a result of what happened with Angie. For reasons he refuses to reveal, he is trying to restore a historical house he plans to make into a bed and breakfast named Seclusion. The old, decrepit house has come to represent what Sean wants to be, and not who he has been.

With Angie back, suddenly, everything between them is different. Sean has never stopped loving Angie, and together, after all these years, they start the relationship they were incapable of having as teenagers. Until Sean learns the secret that brought Angie home, and will once again rip their lives apart...

Raw. Real. Emotional Romance. Writing provocative and darker themed romance that always finds its happily ever after!

With 50 plus, full length books there is a story for everyone!
Cowboy romance? Got it! Small town... yep. Big city rock star? Covered! You like a little suspense? Yep, got a few of those too.

Most of my books are standalone stories in connected series. Whether it's the setting, theme or family connections, my series are often multi-generational and span decades. While each book is a complete story, beloved characters will pop in and out of these sagas. I stick to new adult, contemporary and western romances, with tons of emotion and all the feels tucked into them.

I live in the rainy area of Western Washington, and spend as much time as I can traveling to destinations all across the state, where I do all things outdoors.
Many of these locations become the settings for my books.
I earned my business degree from Western Washington University, and worked for several years in the construction management field before turning to writing full time.

This is why I read. For the emotional depth that’s written on pages that pull you in to the story so deeply you feel every emotion straight through to your core. This author never fails to amaze me with her stories. I devour them and Angie Peters and Sean Langston’s heartbreaking story that spans over 10 years gripped me from the start of their story in Secrets to its conclusion in Seclusion.

There is just no way to accurately describe the emotions you feel when reading this book. For many chapters your on the verge of tears then next laughing out loud and then wanting to scream at the characters for the mistakes they are making yet knowing that they need to go through them all – to come full circle – to finally get their happy ever after.

These two were 15 and 16 when they bonded over being emotionally crippled due to their parents. They had such issues at a young age that made them unable to bond normally with others. They found tranquility with each other for a short time before a pregnancy changed their lives. Angie gave up that baby knowing at 16 and never having had a decent role model herself for a mother that she wanted a better life for her baby. With 15 year old Sean who was the product of rape not wanting to be a father either he also had no problem giving up the baby but one thing Angie didn’t know what that he loved her and that never changed even after she left Seaclusion 6 years ago.

Angie has to run back to Seaclusion, a place she vowed she never wanted to go back to, when she finds herself again in a situation. As her Uncle, who raised her, is married to Sean’s sister its not long before these two run into each other. Their reunion is volatile at first as its to painful for Angie to look at Sean and not think about the daughter she had to give up and Sean cant forget this is the one woman that broke his heart and he knows if given a chance she will break it again.

This author does not write traditional stories. There are still many more years that pass before things come back around to that circle. Hearts are broken many more times before issues can be laid to rest and healing done and move past the past to finally deal with the future.

This is a series that I feel should be read in order. The adoptive parents are the couple from the 2nd book. The uncle and sister are from the 3rd book where we first meet Angie and Sean when they are teenagers. You will not regret reading this beautifully written heartbreaking series.

When Angie Peters was a teenager she had a child names Amy who was adopted by Luke and Kelly Tyler. She has stayed in her daughter's life but went away to school but has just come back to Seaclusion as she writes her thesis and is staying with her Uncle Scott and his wife Sarah and their three girls.

Sean Langston is Sarah's little brother and the bilogical father of Amy. He's never gotten over Angie but has tried to move on, although some of his choices were not good. He has his own dreams for what he wants to do with his life and seeing Angie again makes him question everything.

As Angie and Sean try and put the past behind them they must deal with the present and the future. Angie is hiding secrets and when Sean discovers them will he lose her again?

This is another great book in the series!

Angie had been a somewhat troubled youth who was desperate for some attention in the last book due to her difficult relationship with her mom, Vanessa. Her mom was so cruel to her in her words and actions and it was no wonder why she felt more comfortable with Scott and Sarah. Yet being with them meant seeing Sean.

At first I wasn't too sure about Sean as he seemed to be a bit of a womanizer but I could also tell that it was a way to deal with his own issues as he got his own life in order. I gave him credit for calling things as they were but I could also tell that he still had feelings for Angie.

I liked when Angie and Sean began to put the past behind them but Sean was very clear that Angie had to deal with her own problems and take some responsibility for them. I was happy about that and I think Angie really began to grow up at that moment and realize that she had a part in certain things.

I understood Sean's reaction to Angie's secret and then I was somewhat disappointed in Angie for what came next when David came to town. My heart truly broke for Sean and I knew Angie was making a big mistake.

I loved what Sean did to the house and then in turn what he did for his mom. He was truly a good guy and I wanted him to be happy.

I knew Angie was making a mistake with all of her choices and when she realizes what is happening she tries to fix her mistakes. I loved the advice that Sean once again gave her and I loved when she realized he was right.

The very end was awesome and I was so happy that Angie was able to figure everything out and make the right choice!

Seclusion

Seclusion is the story about Angie and Sean. They were first met in Secrets. Angie left Seaclusion once she graduated high school, and has only been back a few times in the last 6 years. She is back staying with Uncle Scott and Sarah. She knows she will run into Sean - but doesn't realize he is living on Scott and Sarah's property, so she runs into him faster than she expected. They had a baby but gave it up for adoption to Luke and Kelly Tyler. Angie can't get over that, and it hurts her to see Sean and thing of their daughter Amy. Sean knows that Angie is back because she is running from something, but he has loved her all of these years, even though she broke his heart. He knows she is going to break it again, but goes out with her anyway. So many things in this story, and so much going on with both Sean and Angie. Sean did so many great things, but his love for his mother and how he got her to move into his newly remodeled Seclusion home/bed and breakfast was amazing. I loved how Sean told Angie she needed to learn to love herself and complete herself before she comes to see him again. Amazingly, Angie seems to take that advice to heart. The end is amazing when one of them tells the other how the rest of their lives is going to go. This is the conclusion to this series, I would say to read the series in order as the characters run over from previous books. Leanne Davis never disappoints me - she is an amazing writer. I hope you pick up this book and enjoy it as much as I did. Looking forward to my next Leanne Davis read.

Angie and Sean's story

When Angie and Sean were together in high school it resulted in Amy, the baby that they had to give up for adoption.
Sean has got over and accepted the fact but for Angie each year that passes it just gets harder.
She has to escape Seaclusion and by going to college she has done but when things go and she comes back after another big mistake, how will she cope?

Sean has plans for his future and he will get there, he still has feelings for Angie but she only sees him as a high school mistake.

Can they come through all their problems to find each other or is it all just too much for them?

I really enjoyed this story, there were definitely tears at a few points.

The author displays so many emotions in her writings and you feel their pain and love. The lovers, Angie and Sean were so young when they met and had issues that caused them to break up. Their love created a baby whom Angie gave up for adoption. Angie left Seaclusion and came back, a place she vowed never to return. The two run into each other again, Sean is still in love with her and she can't forget the baby she gave up so long ago. The story goes on for a long time and she fills in the story with so much emotion. I don't want to give away the plot, but I adore her book and give this story a five. The series is worth the read.

Seclusion is the fourth and final book of the Seaclusion Series. It was an easy read and a definite page turner. This happened to be Angie's and Sean's story. The previous book touches on Angie and Sean. In this you learn more about them. Their lives and all the relationship ups and downs. All the triumphs, successes, heartbreak and happiness these two find in their lives. Just maybe they both have a real chance at a HEA with each other. There's no doubt that they just might be in love.
I haven't found a book yet that I haven't loved that this author has wrote. Looking fwd to reading more of her books in the future.

This is book 4 in the Seaclusion series. This series has been getting better and better. Leanne Davis is such a great author. We first met Angie in Secrets. Where she was 16 and was just not herself. She stole from Sarahs shop to get some attention because she needed someone to listen to her. Now Angie is back in Seaclusion.  She didn't know where else to go. Her uncle scott and aunt sarah are her rocks. She could tell them anything but right now she just wants time. I loved how we finally have a conclusion of Angie and Sean. I couldn't put this book down. It just draws you in. Loved it.

A great wrap up to the series, at least it feels like it's the end of the series. Angie and Sean's story is a sweet coming of age type of story with a few bumps thrown in that need to be overcome before they can realize what it is that they truly want for their lives. As always, the characters that Leanne Davis creates have depth to them and the story line reads like something that might actually be based on real life situations.

Wow, just wow!!! This is the 4th book in the series, and honestly, I think this one hit me harder than the others. This is Angie and Sean's book, whom you've met in Sarah's book, Secrets. Angie is all grown up now, but not without her problems,,,, in fact, she's got even more issues she's dealing with now. However, she FINALLY starts to heal, AND she gets her happily ever after!!! It's a long road for her, with ALOT of bumps along the way, but she comes out on top, even stronger than before!!

I enjoyed this story. Sometimes people grow up early. Sometimes it takes them a while to find their path. Both Angie and Sean had crappy childhoods. They both had Sarah and Scott to be their like-parents, but still they struggled. They had a rocky relationship and some baggage but leaned on each other because of their shared pain. This was about living, learning, making mistakes, forgiveness, and finding the road to happiness.

This is trilogy is perfection!!! I loved them all but this one was my favorite and they all cane together in such an awesome flow. I loved Angie's journey and even though I wanted to smack her at times it all worked out. Thank goodness for Sean's patience and undying love for Angie. The characters were amazing and as with all of Leanne's books you really felt a part of the story. So descriptive that you can actually picture being there. 10STARS!!!! I just wish it didn't end.

Perfect ending to the series

I just loved this book. It was so much more than a Romance novel. The depth of the characters was amazing. I was rooting for Sean and Angie during their life learning journey. This book really tied up the series so well and now I am having major book hangover

This is Angie’s story and man is that girl messed up! She returns to Seclusion after finding out her professor boyfriend is married and she’s hiding another secret. Sean is messed up too but not near as bad as Angie. These two just can’t leave each other alone. He has secretly been in love with her since he got her pregnant when he was 15. There is lots of drama, tears and more drama.

Another great book to read, this time it's all about Angie and Sean and how they still remember what happened in their past and as their moments together become present. Something things are easily forgotten but not when it comes to them and this book is full of emotions and it makes it worth reading as you feel for the characters in this book.

Could have been better

Would have been better if the hero would have met a lovely woman who appreciated and came to love his steadfast heart. This author seems to love pushing self centered bitches on to poor schmucks who are doing the best to live good, simple, hardworking lives. And making it seem like a brilliant idea?? Angst does not promote heartfelt love.

I always look forward to a new book especially one written by Leanne Davis. She has the ability to transfer her reader into her story where you can feel every emotion, where you can sense your surroundings and where you can hear the sounds reaching out to you. I could feel the salt from the sea, the wind whistling around you, smell the coffee etc. Seclusion tells the story of Angie, a lonely and troubled young lady who has grown up with virtually no support and family and it follows her journey of discovery and fulfillment. She became pregnant aged 16 and had to give her baby for adoption. The baby's father Sean was also 16. He loves Angie but he also has had his own problems to deal with as he matures. I ached for these two young people, I cried at their sorrow and I longed for them to be together. I was angry at the way they had been treated and I wanted to see them conquer all. I felt their highs and their lows. This is another amazing story which confirms my belief that Leanne Davis is one of the best authors around. Please read this book I highly recommend it.

Copy received from NetGalley in exchange for honest review
This book was meh.
I don't know how to really put it in to context.

It was like, if this book was a soap opera, it would be set in a nursing home and the plot points, twists, etc, would be things like Dora lost her teeth, or Ed's real name turned out to be Edwin instead of Edward.

It was just all on one level without the intense moments to keep you interested. It was a real struggle for me to finish, especially because the same plot kept being repeated.
Not the type of book I would demand my money back for, but I would like my time back and I won't be trying anything else from this author.

Long, Long and and did I mention Long. Main female character way too wishy washy. The only reason I finished this book was because of the hero.
I really like this Author and have read her Sister series and enjoyed them but this one fell short for me.
