Ultimate Passage #2

His Human Hellion

Rate this book
Read the first book in the series for free!!
A wickedly sexy sci-fi new adult serial that continues with His Human Hellion, that brings us Finn and Marissa. A sexy alien and the human hellion he couldn't resist, even when she was his intended target. Now she's someone else's target and he's a planet away. Can he get there in time to save her and the baby she's carrying?

Emotions wreak havoc on an Asazi soldier when he discovers the human he loves is pregnant with the child that could kill her.

Finn has a new mission. Save Marissa. Any way he can. That's no easy task when Marissa is the most stubborn, headstrong woman--correction--human he's ever met.

A spitfire Texan finds herself in love with a man who isn't supposed to have emotions, and isn't even a man, except, he's more man than any man she's ever met before. And now she's pregnant with his child. A child that could kill her.

Marissa jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire when she fell in love with Finn. Now he says the only way to save her life is to take her to his planet? I don't think so.

This book is intended for mature readers. 18+ This book has explicit sexual content. Please do not read it if this sort of thing offends.

The beginning was a little weak for me. Marissa blurts out in a text that's she's pregnant and Finn freaks out. Especially knowing how dangerous her pregnancy could be, I found it quite stupid that she told him this way. They don't even discuss it after...

Then, she gets another stupid idea...she just has to go visit her father's grave.

It gets a little better when they end up on the Asazi planet. But I really don't like or trust that immortal what's his name.

>Book review – His Human Hellion

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the second in the Ultimate passage book and ends in a cliffhanger. Finn and Marissa find out that they are pregnant. Finn is upset because all females pregnant with his species die in childbirth. Marissa goes on a road trip to visit her father’s grave and gets kidnapped by Asazi soldiers. Brought to their planet, she is banished to a dangerous land, guaranteed almost certain death.

>While Finn is waiting to save Marissa, his ex seduces him. I really dislike cheating. I know Finn thought it was Marissa, but only at first. Then Marissa fights feelings of attraction to a god-like alien and suddenly I am wondering how strong the relationship between Finn and Marissa really is. The romance died for me.

>There were strange scenes of sexual assault as well as a few secrets regarding Finn that are revealed. A prophesy is teased, with Finn’s ex, Alithera having a main role. The characters are interesting and the new lands are described in a lot of detail, but the book turned from a romance to a light action adventure.

>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving the book 3 stars. Without the cheating, the story would have gotten 4 stars.

I didn't like the 1st book and I decided to give the 2nd book a chance since it ended in a cliffhanger, but this book disappointed as well. The characters are completely one dimensional and even though this was a completed book it didn't feel like anything at the happened until the last 25% of the book. While the last 25% of the book intrested me I am not gonna continue the series because the 1st 75% of the book was so hard to read.

Fascinating

Great storyline, very well written and will hold your interest up to the end. The characters in this series are being developed quite well. As you are reading they are being interwoven with each other. This is one series you will not want to miss.

Marissa and Finn are still having problems with the Asazi. Only this time it takes place on Kormia. Lots of twists and turns. Great characters, great story and steamy sex. I have to keep reading because I want to know what happens next. This is book 2 and I really recommend that you read book 1 first to get the backstory of what is going on. Everything makes more sense if read in order. Enjoy!

Not impressed.

I almost never give a 2 star rating on a book but this time I don't feel it deserves higher. Mainly because the character of Marissa really is too stupid to live. My greatest pet peeve is when the author seems to think that the female has to be written as stupid or weak. Making one bad decision after another. I prefer strength of character, intelligent, and confident.

This is book two of Elle Thorne's Ultimate Passage series it continues the story of Finn and Marissa. In this book Marissa is pregnant and their baby may be a part of the Prophesies? Marissa and Finn find even more action, adventure, drama and fighting for their lives in their quest just to be together. This is a good book in a great series.

I highly recommend this book

Romantic paranormal

So so good! This is a continuation of Marisa and Finns love story. They remain on earth sequestered at one of the many locations owned by his people. They are readying for the integration of some of his people. They are so much in love, this story is full of suspense, emotions, love and romance. This book deserves 8 stars. It's that good.

I enjoyed this story. I admit it took a while to read but, that's due to life getting in the way of my leisure time. The story expanded on what we learned in the first story of the characters and their homes. We are introduced to more characters and the plot deepens and grows more intriguing. I'm looking forward to reading the next book.

With the exception of a couple of grammatical errors and a few paragraphs I had to reread, this was really good. It was interesting to go and throw 2 more species into the mix. Were they in the presence of a God? What is Ali...really??? I'm impatiently waiting for the next books.

Wow Great Book

The story is well written and characters are getting more interesting as new characters are introduced. What a ride of emotions and it just gets better and better as it unfolds? I'm so ready to read book three and see what happens next.

Wtf

What happened to Marissa's fire God she annoyed me to no end I had to skip all her whines. Oh and that theming with alithera......screw him. No way absolutely no way forgiveness is nil. A elite fing soldier succumbing to that. This was garbage.

More involved in this read but their story hasn't finished either. Won't be carrying on with series but it has potential.

Good book

Good series. Developed plots and characters that carry through the series. Slow moving in some parts. Not sure if I'll continue with the series.
